Lenovo (00992) 61.6M shr disposed of by Capital Group 2009/01/13 18:17 (Infocast News) Capital Research and Management Company sold 61.598 million shares of Lenovo Group (00992) on January 8 on the Stock Exchange at $2.05 per share, or $126.276 million, according to the Stock Exchange's SDI information. The company's long position in Lenovo Group dropped from 518.34 million shares (5.63%) to 456.742 million shares (4.96%) after the disposal, which followed an announcement dated January 8 by Lenovo Group. Lenovo Group said in that announcement that it expected a material loss for the three months ended 31 December 2008. It also announced a resource redeployment plan which will reduce its worldwide employees by approximately 2,500 people. |
