Halo Resources Ltd. (HLO-TSXV) Speculative BUY – Target: $2.10 Nov 04/10 closing price: $0.42 Michael G. Fowler, M.Sc, MBA 416-964-4440 Halo Increases Resources At Its Sherridon Property- Very Positive: The company announced a major increase in their resources at: Cold, Lost, Bob Lake and Jungle Lake copper-zinc deposits. Total indicated resources are: 6.552 million tonnes grading 0.85% copper, 1.22% zinc, 0.37 grams per tonne gold and 7.40 grams per tonne silver. Total inferred resources are 15.86 million tonnes grading 0.68 % copper, 0.84% zinc, 0.28 grams per tonne gold and 5.77 grams per tonne silver. These are good numbers. In comparison to the last update the amount of: copper contained has increased by 34%, zinc contained has risen by 38%, gold content increased by 70% and silver by 68%. These estimates are based on indicated and inferred resources. As far as mineability, Halo estimates that 75% of the indicated resource lie within a potential open pit. The decisions regarding the mineability will rest with Hudbay Minerals which can earn a 67.5% interest in Cold and Lost Lake as well as a 51% interest in the Jungle deposit for total commitments of $8.675 million. These commitments include: work expenditures and cash payments, in addition to other considerations such as funding and completing a feasibility study.
