Saturday, 16 Apr 2011 Dow Jones reported that there has been no disruptive impact so far on Renault's supply chain from the disasters that struck Japan March 11th 2011. Mr Jacques Leclercq, head of manufacturing and supply chain for Renault and a member of Renault's executive board, told a press conference that there has also been no repercussion at the manufacturing level from the saga over false industrial espionage accusations that resulted in the resignation of Renault's second in command Mr Patrick Pelata, earlier this week. Mr Leclercq said that "Our medium term objectives for 2013 and 2016 remain intact."
