Zi and Condat partner to offer integrated solution
CALGARY, Aug. 8 /CNW/ - Zi Corporation (Nasdaq: ZICA - news; TSE: ZIC - news) and Condat AG have signed a marketing
agreement to support eZiText(TM), the text input solution from Zi Corporation. Condat, a leading supplier of protocol stacks for
mobile devices, will promote eZiText(TM) to their worldwide customer base. Under the global marketing agreement, Condat can
offer eZiText(TM) as a part of their protocol stacks for GSM, GPRS, UMTS, Basic Man-Machine Interface and Man Machine
Interface Framework.

Condat holds a special market position as one of the major independent suppliers of GSM protocol stacks. Protocol stacks manage
the logistics between a wireless device and the network and are a required software component for wireless communication devices.
