Auch hier ist Navtech leider drin:

[Kopie aus telesenskscl Board]

Hi there,

Global Telematics to help cut fleet insurance costs by 50 per cent

Follows new Datamonitor research predicting 25 per cent premium rise through 2001 "With these reduced insurance costs combined with the improved efficiencies our Orchid solution offers, we can now potentially reduce fleet running costs by 30 per cent or more" Edward Belgeonne, CEO, Global Telematics

Last month, analyst Datamonitor predicted that, with vehicle insurance claims continuing to rise over the last three years, insurance premiums now look set to increase by as much as 25 per cent this year. In response to this market shift, Global Telematics is now launching a new programme to help drive down fleet insurance premiums by as much as 50 per cent using next-generation telematics technology. The programme will employ Global Telematics’ Orchid telematics vehicle tracking solution to reduce the threat of vehicle theft, improve driver safety and significantly reduce accident frequency and cost.

Global Telematics will work with leading insurance organisations such as Allianz Cornhill and Knighthood Corporate Insurance Services plc to deliver these reductions. Knighthood will use the Orchid telematics solution to track and assess fleet behaviour in order to produce a risk management report. Allianz Cornhill will then offer exclusive insurance premiums in exchange for a commitment to proactive risk management based on this report. Orchid also lets companies pinpoint any of their vehicles in realtime to improve operating efficiency, optimise customer service and cut overall running costs.

"Orchid provides a complete fleet management solution, which one high-value goods transporter has already used to cut its annual insurance costs by an impressive 50 per cent," said Edward Belgeonne, CEO, Global Telematics. "As well as reducing insurance premiums, Orchid can also help vehicles reduce petrol usage, improve operating efficiencies, maximise staff deployment, and reduce the risk of vehicle theft. That means we’re looking at potentially cutting overall fleet running costs for our customers by as much as 30 per cent a year - for a business running 20 vehicles with an annual fleet expenditure of £250,000, that’s an annual saving of up to £75,000!"

"Our risk management programme for vehicle fleet operators is one of the most effective available in the market today," added Colin Westcott, Managing Director, Knighthood Corporate Assurance Services plc. "Under the agreement, we will provide a complete evaluation of the operational and management controls already in place for an operator’s vehicle fleet and give recommendations as to how these may be improved. We will then complete a risk management report, recording detailed incident data which will be correlated with information from Orchid. This will be analysed to identify trends and common occurrences which, following the implementation of risk management controls could lead to significant cost reductions."

"This initiative supports the Allianz Cornhill approach of recognising risk before it arises by insuring vehicle fleet operators who implement risk management systems which will lead to a reduction in incidents," said Geoff Moylan, Commercial Motor Manager, Allianz Cornhill. "This Complete Fleet Management Partnership combines risk management and detailed data analysis, allowing us to provide a unique rating option - a ‘tailored’ contract with the prospect of long term stability of insurance costs. This is based on our comprehensive policy cover, which is one of the widest available and includes a European certificate wording and also a replacement vehicle clause."

Orchid has already helped to: Recover a number of stolen vehicles – worth up to £45,000 - in as little as 20 minutes
Cut fuel expenditure across a 13-vehicle fleet by £28,000
Lower insurance premiums by 50 per cent for a high-value transporter. Make savings which add up to potentially slash overall fleet running costs by 30 per cent a year
As well as improving customer service and confidence, maximising operating efficiency and providing critical fleet management information.

Hier noch die klare Aussage auf der Page unter Partner:

Telesens KSCL. Provides the billings software.

Auch hier besteht also Potential für Billing-Software. Die Frage ist weiterhin: Wird TLZ es schaffen genügend Projekte zu generieren und Referenzen zu setzen, um den Break-Even zu schaffen und nicht out of liquidity zu rennen.

Gruss
