As follow: 11:11 PCCW (1186) very optimistic about PRC internet business (Infocast News) It has been recently reported that NOWTV, subsidiary of Pacific Century CyberWorks (1186) (PCCW), can only broadcast English programmes in the Mainland for the time being which arouses people`s doubt on its popularity. Yet, Mingpao quoted the spokesman of PCCW yesterday that PRC, Japan and India are their principal markets of broadband online TV. The company is very optimistic about the development of the internet business in PRC and will admits to strictly adhere to the laws and regulations of PRC. (03/02/00) |
