The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------<p>CAA AG expects EBIT for 2001 more negative than previously forecast - sales target is hard to achieve<p>Filderstadt, August 27th 2001. CAA AG is expecting an EBIT result of -30 mill DM, which is significantly more negative than planned. Net losses will amount to approximately 28 mill DM after about 2 mill DM in returns on interest. This is attributable to higher costs amounting to DM 10 million from non-recurring effects and costs from restructuring measures which have been initiated. Non- recurring effects include losses from the sale of the entire portfolio of shares (whereby future price losses are excluded), adjustment of the value for customer`s requirement accounts, severance payment for former employees, higher annual accounts and legal consulting costs, penalty paid to the Neuer Markt and costs for temporary staff.
