As previously announced, Brokat is currently in the process of seeking a proposed restructuring of its existing High Yield Bond with an ad hoc committee of noteholders. This proposed restructuring is expected to involve a comprehensive operational and financial restructuring of Brokat, including previously announced asset sales by Brokat. In order to move this restructuring process forward during ongoing negotiations with the ad hoc committee, Brokat has purchased, and intends to retire, approximately Euro 26.4 million initial principal amount of the High Yield Bond.
