- One of 2012’s best performers with a stonking gain of 500 per cent, West African Minerals edged up 0.25p to 52.5p after founder and entrepreneur Stephen Dattels forked out £255,000 on a further 500,000 shares at 51p a pop. He now sits on 26.7million shares or 9.3 per cent. The firm owns iron ore licences in Cameroon and Sierra Leone. Assay results on a big copper reserve in the Cameroon are expected by the end of March. |
