Proton Power Systems widens FY pretax loss Proton Power Systems widened its FY pretax loss to £9.3m, from a loss of £4.2m. Revenue was £1.1m, from £0.9m. Cost of sales totalled £4.7m, from £3.4m. "The group now has a complete portfolio of solutions and products and is ready for roll out into the world markets and China in particular," aid chairman John Wall. "We have focused on Environment, Energy and Mobility and that is proving to be a winning formula as evidenced by the significant upward movement in our market capitalization," he said. "Our financial base is strong as we announce today a new Euro 10.9 million loan note facility with Roundstone and we look to the future with great confidence."
