(ich gebe keine Prognose zu diesem Thema mehr ab... Es ist eindeutig eine Schwaeche der Firma: Epi hat seine Profs nicht so richtig im Griff) Genug des Meckerns, zurueck zum positiven. Warum ist da gut, die Daten sind ja bekannt ? a) Die Aussage und der Ton der Aussage, dazu 2 Auszuege aus der Diskussion und Schlusswort "Assuming that the availability of a blood test will increase participation in CRC screening programs, a 70% detection rate with the Septin9 test would significantly reduce mortality due to CRC, as was observed in trials demonstrating changes in mortality, incidence and stage shifting based on gFOBT [29], [30]. The availability of non-invasive screening options, including the Septin9 test based on a simple blood draw, has the potential to increase screening rates and identify additional cancer cases at an early and curable stage" b) Richtlinien Das ist der wichtigste Grund !!!!!!!!!!!! USPSTF hat vor kurzem damit angefangen die CRC screening richtlinien zu ueberarbeiten. Veroeffentlichte Studien sind das A und O dieser Arbeit. Kein Artikel, keine Chance. Epi hat jetzt 3 Studien (PRESEPT, Ladabaum (Kosten/Nutzen) und jetzt die FIT Studie). Uebrigens die Studien der Partner ARUP, Quest und Abbott werden auch beruecksichtigt, da die Untersuchung nicht auf EPiProColon begrenzt ist, sondern es geht um den Biomarker, Methylierung von Septin9. c) Sensitivitaet im Fruehstadium :Epi 70,8% vs 68.8% FIT Sehr wichtig, eigentlich genauso so wichtig oder wichtiger als die Richtlinien. Exact Sciences wird weiter auf die AA Erkennungsrate rumhacken, es ist Ablenkungsmanoever. USPSTF hat ausdreucklich darauf hingewiesen, dass nur die CRC Fruehstadien von Relevanz sind und nicht die AA ! d) Erkennungsrate EpiProColon + FIT = 89% Es wird US KK geben, die alles daran setzen werden, FIT und EpiProColon als Buendel anzubieten. Das wird Exact Sciences auch versuchen unter den Teppich zu kehren. Ok, der Vergleich ist stolz, aber das wird ein geiler Sommer fuer Epi und Epi's Aktionaere |
