The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------<p>Volker Visser leaves MobilCom Management Board<p>Volker Visser, the Executive Director responsible for IT, will leave the Management Board on October 31, 2001. This is a result of the reorganization of MobilCom`s IT structure which will be decentralized in future. Responsibility for the IT infrastructure will pass to Financial Director Dr. Thorsten Grenz. Responsibility for operating systems like customer care and billing will pass to the operational divisions. The reorganization will create flexible, more easily manageable IT units in the operational divisions whilst bringing benefits in the form of advantages of scale in the shape and operation of the IT infrastructure. No new Executive Director responsible for IT will be appointed.
