On average, 12 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.75 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items. Net sales were $594.28 million compared to $670.63 million, a year ago. Analysts expected revenue of $601.26 million for the quarter. Excluding currencytranslation effects, core sales increased approximately 2%. AptarGroup expects earnings per share for the third quarter to be in the range of $0.77 to $0.82.
