Diese Liegenschaft ist seit 1999 in 100%-igem Besitz von Globex. Sie umfasste dannzumal 21 Claims mit einer Fläche von 298 ha im Range 1 im Südosten der Ortschaft Vauquelin. Der Besitz wurde regelmässig erweitert und ab 2007 waren es 82 claims mit einer Fläche von 1273 ha inkl. der Bateman Gold Zone (hier beträgt der Besitzanteil von Globex 6o%).
In den Jahren 1948 bis 1994 haben frühere Besitzer diverse Bohrprogramme im Umfang von über 35‘000 m durchgeführt und von 1990 stammen die Historischen Ressourcen der Ost- und Westzone.
Diese Historische Ressource entsprach 119‘242 oz. Davon fallen auf die Ostzone 69‘977 oz und auf die Westzone 49‘265 oz.
In 2006 veroptionierte Globex die Liegenschaft an Plato Gold gegen Ausstellung von 1 Mio Aktien und 550‘000 CAD Cash innerhalb von 2 Jahren. Zusätzlich musste sich Plato verpflichten 6 Mio an Explorationskosten aufzuwenden und eine bankfähige Studie zu liefern. Eine 2% NSR war ebenfalls im Falle einer Produktion vorgesehen.
Plato erfüllte die finanziellen Verpflichtungen gegenüber Globex, konnte aber zuletzt die Mittel nicht aufbringen um die 6 Mio Exploration und die Studie zu realisieren. Gesamthaft haben sie immerhin 4.5 Mio am Explorationsarbeiten durchgeführt und konnten 2009 einen Techn. Report NI 43-101 für die wesentlich kleinere Westzone liefern. Globex war verschiedentlich betreffend den terminlichen Bedingungen entgegengekommen, jedoch musste Plato die Option im Jahre 2011 aufgeben.
Aus dem Technischen Report geht hervor, dass auf der Westzone noch erhebliches zusätzliches Potenzial bestehe und es realistisch sei, dass dort gesamthaft 350‘000 bis über 500‘000 oz zu erwarten seien.
Die Ostzone ist wesentlich grösser und ähnlich beschaffen so dass dort ebenfalls ähnliche Werte wie in der Westzone zu erwarten sind, was jedoch zuerst noch durch weitere Explorationsprogramme zu beweisen wäre.
Plato hat die Ressourcen der Westzone durch Ihren Report verdreifacht und um fast 100‘000 Unzen erweitert und Globex hat eine wesentlich wertvollere Liegenschaft zurückbekommen sodass kann diese wieder – sobald das Umfeld stimmt - zu attraktiven Konditionen weiter veroptioniert werden kann. Zu guter letzt sei nochmals erwähnt dass Globex 550‘000 CAD Cash und 1 Mio Aktien erhalten hat.
Aufgrund des Technischen Reports ist es durchaus realistisch, dass auf Nordeau gesamthaft 700‘000 bis über 1 Mio oz ausgewiesen werden können.
Auszug aus Techn. Report 2009 – Interpretation and Conclusions
Nordeau West property. Potential to increase the size and quality of the resource is also evident from the results with the greatest limitations imposed by the property boundaries due to the small number of claims and proximity of the northward dipping zones to the north boundary.
It could be reasonably estimated that the maximum additional resources possible within the current property limits of Nordeau West might be as high as 2-3 times existing estimates with further exploration success along the indicated and open trends of existing resources. The potential up-side resource is estimated from 2.7 – 4.0 million tonnes grading 4.1 gpt Au containing 350,000 to greater than 500,000 oz Au in-situ. The reader is cautioned that the potential quantity and grade of the up-side estimates are conceptual in nature and there has been insufficient exploration to define such additional resources. Furthermore, it is uncertain if such further exploration will result in discovery of additional mineral resources.
Plato Gold holds several other properties in the area most notably the main Nordeau East block of claims located less than 1km along strike to the east. As they were for the Nordeau West Property, historic reserves for the Nordeau East Property were determined from drill holes that were no more than 250 metres deep; however, the bulk of the resource that has been outlined at Nordeau West occurs between 400 m and 600 m below surface (Figure 18.1). Given that the geological stratigraphy, strike (trend), and geometry (steep north dip, younging south) are the same on both the Nordeau West and Nordeau East Properties, it is reasonable to assume that a strong potential exists for additional gold mineralization to occur on the Nordeau East Property, below 250 metres.
Globex hat in 2014 die Kernbohrungen untersucht und zwei weitere Goldstrecken entdeckt:
"In June 2014, Globex executed an infill sampling program, sampling the core from historical holes drilled by Plato Gold between 2006 and 2011. 1,500 m of additional core was sampled to close mineralized zones and to fill gaps between isolated or open ended gold intersections and to test potential gold bearing zones not previously sampled. The sampling returned new gold values for some of the open segments. Two mineralized zones, not previously sampled in hole PG-06-21, returned 1.50 gpt Au over 11.8 m and 1.13 gpt Au over 9.0 m.
Conclusion
The Nordeau East and West gold zones are significant gold deposits and have the potential to increase in size. This may be accomplished through drilling at depth or by detailing of parallel, partially explored gold zones in areas north and east of the main resource blocks.
