The city of Coachella (California) has approved the cultivation and manufacturing of marijuana within the city. This paves the way for their JV partner to construct a 111,000 sq.ft marijuana complex / campus. This agreement is the first major step in seeing LDS producing their unique Cannabis strips and selling them across California and (hopefully) into other legal states. There are big plans for LDS and this facility over the next year. Coachella hopes to become the "Blue Chip Brand (City)" of the American Marijuana industry. If you are not familiar with their giant music and arts festival, it is one of the largest public events in the United States (> 200,000 people attend). The biggest names from Hollywood, music and sports attend Coachella. This complex (and the unique nature of LDS products) will have an opportunity every spring to be seen (and used) by incredibly influential people. If all goes as planned, in 2017 CannaStrips will become a VERY well known name within the medical and recreational marijuana industry. |
