(the "Company") (CSE: ECU) announced today that it has filed an application with the Ontario Securities Commission and the British Columbia Securities Commission applying for the revocation of the cease trade orders in respect of the securities of the Company originally issued on May 5, 2016, and May 12, 2016, respectively. On December 21, 2016, the Company filed its audited annual financial statements, annual management's discussion and analysis, and related certifications for the year ended December 31, 2015. The Company has also filed its condensed consolidated interim financial statements and management's discussion and analysis for the periods ended March 31, 2016, June 30, 2016, and September 30, 2016. All of such disclosure documents are available for review online on SEDAR. Upon filing, the Company is up-to-date with its continuous disclosure obligations. The Company shall will continue to work with the regulator such that all other conditions required by the securities commissions for revocation of the cease trade orders have been met. The Company intends to seek the resumption of trading of its common shares on the Canadian Securities Exchange in due course following the revocation of the cease trade orders.
