Heute schon Kurse von 7,3 zu 7,4 Acts. in Sydney.# Jetzt auch noch diese Meldung: Metex Resources Limited ("Metex" is pleased to announce that the first hole (GWD025) of the current program to test the strike extensions of deeper mineralisation previously intersected in GWD023 at Whisper has been completed and results returned. The remainder of the program is underway and will be completed during April 2002. This program of diamond drilling is being undertaken on behalf of the Laverton Exploration Joint Venture ("LEJV" between Metex and AurionGold Ltd (formerly Delta Gold/Goldfields). GWD025 (29900N 33471E) declined 70 deg on a bearing 270 deg has returned the following significant results: INTERVAL (m) INTERCEPT (g/t Au) 144-146 2m @ 1.62 167-173 6m @ 4.65 176-182 6m @ 6.81 185-186 1m @ 1.25 193-199 6m @ 3.86 202-213 1m @ 4.54 215-223 8m @ 2.27 228-229 1m @ 1.23 Unlike GWD023 where mineralisatiun is within primary sulphide ore, these intersections are almost entirely oxidised. The hole is approximately 50m south and has a piercement point 50m above GWD023. True widths are estimated to be approximately 70% of downhole widths. Some core loss has occurred however this does not have a significant bearing on the overall intervals quoted. These results have opened up a significant strikelength of potential mineralisation below Whisper that remains open to the south and down dip.
