The Cylinder:

What is clear however, is that the cylinder lying on the bed was not the object that created the hole. There are a number of reasons for this conclusion:

1 The cylinder is surrounded by a light weight steel strapping structure which appears to hold guide wings. This could be designed to allow the cylinder to fly down in a vertical position landing on its base and perhaps exploding. The structure has only one purpose (guidance) and very little strength. It would not survive any high speed impact with a hard object like a concrete floor without massive deformation (probably total dismemberment) – none of which is seen on the cylinder photographed.

2 There is no sign on the cylinder, its base or guide structure of any severe cement scraping or paint removal as the cylinder supposedly destroyed and passed through the floor. One would expect much of the yellow paint to be removed, and cement and stone marking on the steel framing as a result of violent contact with the roof.

3 If the cylinder landed horizontally on the roof, because the light weight structure did not extend enough to protect the control valve, this should have been sheared instantly. In the picture this is shown undamaged. This alone shows the cylinder did not cause the oval shaped hole in the roof.

4 The laws of conservation of energy and rules for collisions demand similar damage to both objects – the floor and the cylinder. A bullet for example fired at concrete would be totally destroyed. There is no evidence of equivalence here, with the cylinder virtually undamaged.

Bouncing cylinder:

Finally the idea that the cylinder would bounce off the floor and land on the bed is highly unlikely if not impossible. For it to bounce sideways there would have to be a severe dent in the floor and heavy object like a large piece of furniture to redirect the cylinder - none of which are visible. Further there would be severe damage to the furniture piece in question, again this is not visible.

There is no doubt in my mind that the cylinder photographed on the bed did not cause the hole in the roof, and that it then did not bounce on the floor and end up on the bed.’
