[posting]61153844[/posting]2019-07-29 09:24 ET - News Release Mr. James Hyland reports BLOK TECHNOLOGIES SUBJECT OF LAWSUIT Blok Technologies Inc. has received notice that a class action lawsuit commenced in the Supreme Court of British Columbia on July 11, 2019, (Tietz and Loewen v. Bridgemark Financial Corp. et al.) against the company, former officers and directors of the company, and certain others seeking damages for various possible causes of action related to a private placement under National Instrument 45-106 Prospectus Exemptions in June, 2018. The company has been served with a copy of the claim. The claim has not been certified as a class action as at the date hereof. The company is of the view that the allegations contained in the claim are without merit and intends to vigorously defend its position. The transactions which are the subject of the claim are also currently being investigated by the B.C. Securities Commission, as described in the BCSC news release dated Nov. 26, 2018.
