25.11, 07:08 (Quelle: TeleTrader) Chinese sources close to the government in Beijing told Global Times that the phase-one trade deal with the United States is close, denying earlier reports that claimed phase two talks have been pushed further away. The Global Times wrote on Twitter: "Contrary to negative media reports, China and the US are very close to the phase one trade deal, and China remains committed to continuing talks for a phase two or even a phase three deal with the US, on equal footing." A report published earlier by Reuters claimed that both US and Chinese officials confirmed they are not close to the phase one trade deal. |
