A lot of anomalies have been exposed with this latest distraction provocation event that was used to start all the riots. But one I have not seen anyone comment on is this:
? ) Why did George Floyd and Derek Chauvin act like they didn't know each other?
Of course the key word in that question is "act" like they didn't know each other. Which is no doubt the answer to the question. They were indeed "acting" like they didn't know each other because it was not real.
Why didn't Chauvin say, "George, don't resist arrest George."
Or Floyd say, "Derek, get off my frickin' neck Derek!"
No. They never said each other's names one time. They acted like they had never seen each other before.
What a crock...

While all the expressed outrage on Twitter and Instagram about police brutality produce temporary endorphin feelings of satisfaction, the reality is that opinions in the absence of action change nothing. Punishment that acts as a deterrent and accountability are the keys to ending police brutality. These are two keys that provide the foundation to ending any type of criminality in any industry, whether that industry is law enforcement, healthcare, or banking. Without both, and without the punishment focusing on personal punishment enforced upon the individual perpetrator, criminality will always remain rampant and/or systemic in whichever corrupt industry reform is attempted.

Bereits im Kolonialzeitalter stand die Guantánamo-Bucht im Fokus militärstrategischer Überlegungen. So wurde die Bucht zum Schauplatz eines britischen Landeunternehmens im Verlauf des sogenannten War of Jenkins’ Ear (1739–1742). Im Rahmen eines Versuches, den westlich der Bucht gelegenen spanischen Hafen Santiago de Cuba einzunehmen, nutzte das eingesetzte britische Expeditionskorps die geographischen Vorteile der Bucht zunächst für die Landung ihrer Infanterie (23. Juli 1741). Als sich später herausstellte, dass ein Angriff über Land wegen der Unpassierbarkeit des einzigen Weges nach Santiago unmöglich war, reklamierten die Briten die Bucht für sich und benannten ihren Ankerplatz nach dem zweiten Sohn des damaligen englischen Königs Cumberland Harbour.
