Reuters Company News RESEARCH ALERT-Morgan Stanley likes WorldCom tracking stock end NEW YORK, May 22 (Reuters) - Morgan Stanley said on Wednesday it viewed WorldCom Inc.`s (NasdaqNM:WCOM - News; NasdaqNM:MCIT - News) decision to scrap its two tracking stocks as a "small but positive step" since it will save money by eliminating dividend payments on the MCI Group stock. "While not surprising, we are encouraged by this step," the firm said. The move will save money and improve earnings visibility and "shows decisive action by the new CEO," it said. |
