A Technical trader and a Fundamental trader are having dinner at a steakhouse, perhaps at OSI or RI.
The Fundamental trader accidently knocks his steak knife off the table. They both watch as the knife tumbles towards the floor. It lands sharp-end first in the foot of the Fundamental trader causing great pain.
The Technical trader asks: "Why didn`t you move your foot?"
The Fundamental trader answers: "Because it shouldn`t have fallen that far"!
