Robertson Stephens Reiterates Buy Rating on EXDS
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 21, 2000--Robertson Stephens Managing Director and Senior eCommerce Services Analyst Rick Juarez reiterated his Buy rating on Exodus Communications Inc. (NASDAQ:EXDS). Headquartered in Santa Clara, California, Exodus is one of the leading business centric providers of Internet systems and network management solutions for companies seeking to outsource the hosting of their mission critical Internet operations.
"We believe Exodus is ready to catch the next wave in the buildout of eCommerce and Internet infrastructure, specifically providing the global platform for ASPs enabling ASPs and market exchanges," said Juarez. "The ASP market, estimated to be more than $23 billion by 2003, will provide new opportunities for Exodus to be the infrastructure provider of choice for this new class of ASPs, including Jamcracker, LoudCloud, Bridge2Market and Xuma."

"Consistent with our Virtual Bricks(TM) thesis, we believe that Exodus is in an ideal position to dominate the market for integrated access, hosting, and applications services," said Juarez. "We expect that the market will produce strong demand for hosting and integrated managed security and firewall services."

"We believe that Exodus` partnership with AT&T to provide alternative access to AT&T`s IP backbone, provides its customers with added flexibility and extends the attractiveness of Exodus` integrated access and hosting service offering," said Juarez.

"We are establishing a new 12 month price target of $245 on a pre split basis based on a 30 times multiple to 2001 revenues--a 30 percent discount to the other top five leading complex web hosting companies," said Juarez. "We are maintaining estimates and reiterating our Buy rating. We also expect a two-for-one share split to be effective the week of June 20, 2000."

Gut, oder? Aber eigentlich ja nichts Besonderes ... ;).

Ciao,
Das Exodus-Fan- Ich
