TANDBERG JOINS THE CISCO AVVID PARTNER PROGRAM -- TANDBERG Videoconferencing Systems Meets Cisco AVVID Program Requirements for Interoperability -- Oslo, Norway - June 17, 2002 - TANDBERG, a global provider of videoconferencing, today announced that it has joined the Cisco AVVID (Architecture for Voice and Video Integrated Data) Partner Program as an IP Videoconferencing Solutions member. Through membership in the Cisco AVVID Partner Program, TANDBERG enables customers to implement IP-based videoconferencing solutions into their own aggressive Internet-driven communications strategies. The Cisco AVVID Partner Program sets criteria for interoperability testing by independent third parties and is a co-marketing program enabling leading product and services firms to deploy innovative e-business solutions. The program provides enterprise customers with information regarding Cisco AVVID Partner products and services that an independent testing facility has tested, verified and found to interoperate with Cisco networking technology. The IP Videoconferencing solution track requires a partner`s products to meet the AVVID Partner Program requirements for interoperability with the Cisco Multimedia Conference Manager (MCM), the Cisco Multipoint Control Unit (MCU) and a Cisco H.323 - H.320 Gateway. These products combined with TANDBERG`s products provide an end-to-end IP Videoconferencing environment.
