Wie im Moment am Neuen Markt zu beobachten, drängen eine schier unbegrenzte Anzahl von jungen Firmen an die Börse. Der Effekt ist - zumindest oft - die explosionsartige Vervielfachung des Emissionspreises, der dann, mal früher mal später, in Gewinnmitnahmen mündet um liquide zu sein für "the next big thing". The stock (ACOM: news, msgs) hit a 52-week low of 24 1/2 on Tuesday amid weakness in the sector and an erroneous report in The Wall Street Journal claiming high employee turnover. The company, based in New York, offers services ranging from interactive business to Web-site design. Shares rose 4 3/64 to close at 28 15/16. Goldman Sachs boosted the stock`s rating to "trading buy" from "market outperform" and set a six- to nine-month price target of $40. Goldman said in a research note that the company`s first-quarter voluntary employee turnover should be in line with the fourth quarter`s "manageable" rate and added that the tone of business is positive. The investment firm sees Agency.com`s sequential revenue growth at close to 10 percent this quarter, well above Goldman`s previous flat sales estimate.
