Ich glaube die Frage nach dem Opteron Server Prozessor Preis ist nicht so wichtig, wie die Frage, wer wird ihn kaufen? " Wird HP, nachdem sie so viel Arbeit und Geld in die Itanium2 Server stecken, auch Opteron Sever entsprechend fördern. IBM bleibt mit Sicherheit bei ihren Power Servern. SUN kommt als Opteron Kunde in Frage, weil die Sparc Server technisch zurückfallen. Dell ist ein potenzieller Kunde für Opteron Server, weil Dell die aufwendigen Itanium Server nicht betreuen kann. Das bedeutet, die Abnehmer für den Opteron Server Prozessor sind dünn gesät und können AMD preislich erpressen. Ich lasse mich gerne von einer positiveren Einschätzung überzeugen. Gruß Jackomo |
