Gruss OM Talk America Stockholders Approve the One-For-Three Reverse Stock Split RESTON, Va., Oct 15, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Talk America (NASDAQ:TALK), an integrated communications provider, said today that, at its 2002 Annual Meeting, Talk America`s stockholders approved the one-for-three reverse stock split of Talk America`s common stock. The reverse split is effective as of 5:00 pm, EST on October 15, 2002. As a result of the reverse split, each holder of three shares of Talk America common stock becomes the holder of one share of Talk America common stock upon the commencement of trading on October 16, 2002. "We are pleased that our shareholders were so supportive of the reverse split with over 86% of the outstanding shares voting in favor of the proposal.
