NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--U.S. military sources say some U.S. troops have already
crossed the Iraqi "red line" around Baghdad, MSNBC reported Monday.
The network said there have been no reports that chemical weapons had been
used by Iraqi forces. There were reports last week that Iraqi forces might use
chemical weapons if coalition forces crossed a "red line" around the capital.
Military officials also said 70% of the Republican Guard`s Medina Division
tanks and artillery south of Baghdad had been knocked out, the network
reported.
