Can you tell me how big the Phase I trial was? I see you reported on the first l2 patients. Have you talked about how large it was and when the full data will be reported? Yeah. As had been mentioned I think in previous press releases and in this one, the entire trial is designed to involve 24 patients - 12 receiving the so-called low dose or three vaccinations and then subsequently 12 more receiving the high dose or six. And within each of the two dose groups, six of them just vaccinated with telomerase RNA and the other six get vaccinated with telomerase RNA that is attached to this additional LAMP sequence designed to further enhance the immune response. Right now 12 patients have completed the low-dose and so as we mentioned today, the safety data apply to all l2 and the immunological and circulating tumor cells apply to nine of those 12 who`ve been analyzed. The first patient in the high dose cohort has started his vaccinations and I believe that Dr. Vieweg is hoping to complete the second dose cohort by the end of the year. Das heist: Es wird gerechnet das am Jahresende alle Daten vorhanden sein sollten um dann im Frühjahr/Sommer eine Phase 2 zu beginnen ! Die Versuche mit Der Hochdosierung haben aber schon mit einer Person gegonnen. Bei den Versuchen muss Geron sehr umsichtig sein da Telomerase nicht nur in Krebszellen sondern auch in Haut,-Darm,Magen Knochenmark sowie Keimbahnen beim Menschen hochkonzentriert vorkommt. Hier muss gesehen werden ob es zu Komplikationen führt wenn eine Impfung erfolgt!! Bislang sind keine aufgetreten. Dies gilt natürlich auch für die Inhibitoren die Geron entickelt wobei Geron für dieses Jahr ein IND Phase 1 fur GNR 163 angekündigt hat gruss meislo |
