Gasentwicklungsgesellschaft MAX Petroleum PLC wurde gestern
erfolgreich an der Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse gelistet. MAX
Petroleum PLC (Frankfurt: M5G, London: MXP, WKN A0HGSE) konzentriert
sich auf verschiedene Öl- und Gasprojekte in Kasachstan und konnte
mit dem IPO am Londoner AIM Markt 25,872 Millionen GBP als
Emissionserlös über den Broker ODL Securities Ltd. aufnehmen. Dieses
Kapital soll im Wesentlichen zur Finanzierung der Weiterentwicklung
der Kontrakte A&E Contract und East Alibek in Kasachstan verwendet
werden.

SEISMIC PROGRAMME


Max Petroleum Plc (AIM:MXP), an oil and gas exploration and development company
with an initial focus on Kazakhstan, today releases a preliminary summary of the
exploration work carried out to date and initial details of the forward
programme on their A&E Blocks and East Alibek in the Pre-Caspian Basin of
Kazakhstan.


E Block


A 2D seismic survey started on 21 September 2005 using the latest 3-component
Full Wave VectorSeis recording technology from Input/Output, a leading seismic
instrumentation manufacturer.


The object of this initial programme is to increase understanding of the
Zharzhyk and Iskene structures and to increase knowledge of the deep pre-salt
and basement trends over the rest of the E Block, to ascertain whether they are
related to the giant fields of Kashagan and Tengiz. A wide aperture survey was
formulated by the Max Petroleum exploration team to map these structures and
trends. Initial results show that accurate imaging of the shallow post-salt
formations, where most of the present known traps have been found, has also been
achieved.


Recording the 3 components of the seismic signal is expected, after final
processing, to produce enhanced imaging of the salt overhangs and pre-salt
formations where larger oil traps tend to lie.


The total programme for 2005 is 734 line km. To 30 October 2005, 190 km have
been recorded and the 4 completed profiles, after field Quality Control
processing, show high quality imaging of both the post-salt and the deep
pre-salt structures.


A Block


On completion of the work on East Alibek, outlined below, the Vibroseis crew
will move to Block A, starting working on or around 10 December 2005. A total of
240 line km of data is planned to be acquired in December 2005 and January 2006.


The object of this survey is to examine the regional geology of the area and to
confirm the existence a pre-salt reef trend, identified from existing data,
which links the areas Myrzaly, Zhilankabak, Iman Kara and Sarniaz. A particular
focus will be placed on Myrzaly in the north-west corner of the Block as it
borders on the large producing field of Kenbai and potentially offers a similar
post-salt, salt-flank prospect.


East Alibek


The area is an extension to the east of the structures of the Zhanazhol,
Alibekmola and Alibek South producing fields.


A gravity / magnetic survey has been completed across the entire Block. The
object of this survey was to identify salt coverage and other trends. The final
interpretation is due to be completed by mid-November 2005.


A 2D high-fold seismic survey started on 20 October 2005 using the Vibroseis
method. The object of the survey is to image complicated faulting on the
structure as it rises towards the easterly limiting fault line. To date 50 km
have been recorded out of the 2005 programme of 348 line km. At this stage, no
profiles have yet been Quality Control processed but field records are of good
quality.


Jim Jeffs, Chief Executive Officer, commented:

"These encouraging initial high quality seismic imaging results, combined with
the seismic programme planned for the coming months, will allow us to formulate
the extensive exploration and development drilling programme that Max intends to
carry out in 2006."

Frankfurt/Main (ots) - Die britische Öl- und
Gasentwicklungsgesellschaft MAX Petroleum PLC (WKN A0HGSE) mit
aktuellem Schwerpunkt der Aktivitäten in Kasachstan hat am
vergangenen Freitag einen vorläufigen Überblick über die bisherigen
Erforschungsarbeiten und die ersten Details für das zukünftige
Arbeitsprogramm auf ihren A&E-Blocks und ihrem East Alibek Gebiet im
Pre-Caspian Becken veröffentlicht.

Im E Block wurde am 21.September eine seismische 2D Studie
begonnen mit dem Ziel die Zharzhyk und Iskene Strukturen genauer
definieren zu können, vor allem in Hinblick auf eine direkte
Verbindung zu den gigantischen Ölfeldern Kashagan und Tengiz. Das
Gesamtprogramm für diesen Block soll 734 Kilometer umfassen, wovon
bis zum 31.Oktober bereits 190 Kilometer erfasst wurden. Im East
Alibek Gebiet, das sich als östliche Verlängerung der Strukturen der
produzierenden Felder Zhanazhol, Alibekmola und Alibek Süd darstellt,
wurde nach der Durchführung einer schwerkraftmagnetischen
Untersuchung ebenfalls eine seismische 2D Studie begonnen. Nach der
vollständigen Durchführung des 348 Kilometer umfassenden Programms
wird das Vibroseis-Team dann zum Block A wechseln, um dort um den 10.
Dezember 2005 herum, seine Arbeiten zu beginnen.

Der Vorstand von MAX Petroleum PLC Jim Jeffs äußerte sich sehr
positiv über die bisherigen Projektfortschritte und setzt bereits
jetzt große Erwartungen in den Start der weiteren
Entwicklungstätigkeiten und Bohrprogramme in 2006 in Kasachstan. Für

der absolute hammer,und ich bin hier nur auf die aktie gestoßen weil ich eigentlich bei der suche petroleo eingegeben habe, weil ich was zu petrobras gesucht habe :-)

und als ich bei 0,73 eingestiegen bin und die aktie auf 0,69 gefallen is hab ich mich schu aufgeregt :-)

Ich denke, dass in London Fonds in den Titel einstiegen, die Blöcke deuten darauf hin!!

Und das wiederum sagt mir, dass man bei der Aktie ruhig noch länger dabeibleiben kann, die werden nämlich nicht wie einige Zocker gleich wieder verkaufen!!

Was ich nicht verstehe, alle reden bei irgendwelchen Aktien von - Das könnte der neue Energulf werden -
Ich glaube hier haben wir ihn und keiner bekommt es mit

Jetzt mal etwas anderes. Hat jemand News oder einfach gesagt, warum geht die Aktie wie eine Rakete?Wenn ich die Aktie mit Caspian Oil vergleiche (beide sind in Kazakhstan aktiv und beide sind keine Förderer)verstehe ich das nicht.
Liegt das vielleicht auch am Grundkapital von Max Petroleum?

Also Daumen drücken, das die Aktie noch den Himmel erreicht. Versuche mich mal als Forscher, vielleicht bekomme ich etwas heraus.

Henrik Gronne, Production Manager – More than 20 years working for AP Moller-Maersk, and formerly Production Manager of Maersk Oil Kazakhstan GmbH from 2003 to July 2005, responsible for Saigak, a small onshore oil field in North West Kazakhstan, with a production potential in the region of 8,000 to 10,000 bopd. More than 10 years of well services / well intervention experience.


Jesper Tarp Jørgensen, Engineering & Construction Manager – 20 years working in oil and gas, and Engineering & Facilities Manager for Maersk Oil Kazakhstan GmbH from 2000-2004. Responsible for the development of the Saigak and expansion of the Dunga onshore fields, in addition to long-term experience with major development and construction projects in the North Sea.


Henrik Busk, Reservoir Engineering & Geology Manager - Geologist with 8 years experience in the oil and gas industry, and previous experience in the IT industry. Since 2000 has been Lead Geologist, Petroleum Engineering Department of Maersk Oil Kazakhstan GmbH, responsible for logging and data gathering programmes including log interpretation, core descriptions and evaluation of analyses and the design and implementation of exploration and development wells in two onshore license blocks.


Max is also in final negotiations regarding the appointment of a country drilling manager, with similar levels of sector and Kazakh experience.

Max listed on AIM in October 2005 and has acquired an 80 per cent interest in two companies which indirectly have the rights under Contracts known as Blocks A&E and East Alibek to explore for, develop and produce oil prospects in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Blocks A&E and East Alibek are part of the Pre-Caspian Basin of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which contains five super-giant sub-salt fields. 25 supra-salt oil fields have already been discovered in the area covered by Blocks A&E which are excluded from the interests held by Max. fokussiert hat, freut sich die Ernennung von insgesamt vier weiteren
Schlüsselpersonen für die operativen Bereiche des Unternehmens in
Kasachstan bekannt geben zu können. Max Petroleum wird in Kürze
ebenfalls ein lokales Repräsentanz-Büro in Kasachstan einrichten, um
vor allem das umfangreiche Explorationsprogramm überwachen und
entsprechend mit fachlicher Kompetenz begleiten zu können. Das neu
zusammengestellte Team hat vorher bereits über mehrere Jahre in
Kasachstan bei Maersk Oil zusammen gearbeitet und verfügt über
ausgezeichnete Erfahrungen, Wissen und Kontakte im Land vor allem in
Bezug auf die vorhandenen geologischen Formationen und die sozialen
und politischen Strukturen.

Jim Jeffs, der CEO von Max Petroleum kommentierte das neue Team

Übernahme von Kazgas

Zusätzlich gab Max Petroleum den vollständigen Kauf des
Aktienkapitals von Kazgas Limited für 3,5 Millionen US-Dollar
bekannt. Kazgas hat eine exklusive Vereinbarung einen signifikanten,
sehr aussichtsreichen Block in Kasachstan zu erwerben. Dieser Block
ist in der Hauptsache von einem Kontrakt zur Eigentumsübertragung der
Rechte an den vorhandenen Rohstoffen im Boden abhängig. Max hat
hierzu 5 Millionen US-Dollar an Sicherheitsleistung an Kazgas
bereitgestellt, die nach der Unterzeichnung des vorher aufgeführten
Kontraktes wieder zur freien Verfügung stehen würden. Die Direktoren
von Max erwarten, dass dieser entscheidende Kontrakt in Kürze
unterzeichnet werden wird und danach unverzüglich eine weitere
Veröffentlichung über diese Akquisition folgen kann.

MAX Petroleum PLC beginnt mit seismischen Programmen

Frankfurt/Main (ots) - Die britische Öl- und
Gasentwicklungsgesellschaft MAX Petroleum PLC (WKN A0HGSE) mit
aktuellem Schwerpunkt der Aktivitäten in Kasachstan hat am
vergangenen Freitag einen vorläufigen Überblick über die bisherigen
Erforschungsarbeiten und die ersten Details für das zukünftige
Arbeitsprogramm auf ihren A&E-Blocks und ihrem East Alibek Gebiet im
Pre-Caspian Becken veröffentlicht.

Im E Block wurde am 21.September eine seismische 2D Studie
begonnen mit dem Ziel die Zharzhyk und Iskene Strukturen genauer
definieren zu können, vor allem in Hinblick auf eine direkte
Verbindung zu den gigantischen Ölfeldern Kashagan und Tengiz. Das
Gesamtprogramm für diesen Block soll 734 Kilometer umfassen, wovon
bis zum 31.Oktober bereits 190 Kilometer erfasst wurden. Im East
Alibek Gebiet, das sich als östliche Verlängerung der Strukturen der
produzierenden Felder Zhanazhol, Alibekmola und Alibek Süd darstellt,
wurde nach der Durchführung einer schwerkraftmagnetischen
Untersuchung ebenfalls eine seismische 2D Studie begonnen. Nach der
vollständigen Durchführung des 348 Kilometer umfassenden Programms
wird das Vibroseis-Team dann zum Block A wechseln, um dort um den 10.
Dezember 2005 herum, seine Arbeiten zu beginnen.

Der Vorstand von MAX Petroleum PLC Jim Jeffs äußerte sich sehr
positiv über die bisherigen Projektfortschritte und setzt bereits
jetzt große Erwartungen in den Start der weiteren
Entwicklungstätigkeiten und Bohrprogramme in 2006 in Kasachstan. Für

Es ist schon unglaublich, wie stabil die Aktie läuft. Und das bei einer derzeitigen Marktkap. von 425 Mio Euro. Es muss aber in der Tat ein deartiges Potential in dem Wert stecken, das alle Erwartungen übertrifft.

Guten Abend,
mich wundert es das hier zu diesem Wert so wenig geschrieben wird. Max Petroleum ist eine wunderbare Aktie, in London große Umsätze und sehr stabil seit Wochen. Gibt es keine news??? was muß passieren, das in deutschland die Umsätze stark ansteigen??? Die letzten Tage war es ja schon besser. Wünsche allen investierten noch schöne Gewinne mit unserer Aktie.

Ich stimme Dir vollkommen zu. Es gibt nahezu keine News, und trotzdem ist die Aktie unglaublich stabil bei hohen Umsätzen, Tendenz steigend. Da liegt es irgendwie nahe, dass demnächst mit sensationellen Nachrichten zu rechnen ist. Mal sehen, wann wir die 2 Euro Marke knacken ...

COMPLETION OF REGISTRATION & APPOINTMENT OF FINANCE MANAGER



Max Petroleum Plc [AIM:MXP], an oil and gas exploration and development company with an initial focus on Kazakhstan, announces that it has completed registration of its newly acquired asset in Kazakhstan, the Astrakhansky Exploration Contract area, as announced on 12th January 2006.



The Company is also pleased to announce that it has appointed William McClure as Finance Manager in Max’s operations office in Kazakhstan. This means the Company now has a full complement of staff in the country, including Country Manager, Production Manager, Drilling Manager, Engineering & Construction Manager and Reservoir Engineering & Geology Manager, as announced in December 2005, all of whom have extensive experience in Kazakhstan.



William McClure has a BBA in Finance / Accounting from Marshall University, West Virginia, and has 24 years international experience with Fortune 500 international oil and gas companies, in a range of financial control and planning positions. 27. Januar. FRANKFURT (Börse Frankfurt). SAP und Siemens haben es in Deutschland vorgemacht – viele ausländische Unternehmen sind ihnen in dieser Woche gefolgt. Die laufende Berichtssaison ist gekennzeichnet durch gute Ergebnisse und starke Ausblicke für den weiteren Geschäftsverlauf.

Von seit Wochen konstant hohen Umsätzen berichtet Stadler bei der Aktie von Max Petroleum (WKN A0HGSE). Die britische Öl- und Gasentwicklungsgesellscha ft gab in der Woche die komplette Übernahme der kasachischen Firma Kazgas für 3,5 Millionen US-Dollar bekannt. Daraufhin verdoppelten sich die gehandelten Stückzahlen von Max Petroleum. Seit dem IPO im Oktober vergangenen Jahres hat sich der Aktienkurs des Unternehmens von 0,50 Cent auf aktuell über 2 Euro mehr als vervierfacht.

OPERATIONS UPDATE



Max Petroleum Plc (“Max” or “the Company”), an oil and gas exploration and development company with an initial focus on Kazakhstan, today provides an update on its Kazakhstan operations.



Max has separated its development programme into 4 different asset groups under the Management Team:



· Deep structures on the Astrakhansky Block

· Sub-salt structures on East Alibek

· Pre-salt deep structures on the A&E Blocks

· Shallow new wells and well re-entries on A&E Blocks



Seismic, Exploration & Production Programme



The initial seismic programme is in its seventh month and will be completed in February 2006. The programmes on East Alibek and A&E Blocks are at an advanced stage of evaluation and the technical team is particularly encouraged by the clear indications of deep structures in the pre-salt on E Block that are analogous to the Tengiz oilfield in western Kazakhstan. The interpretation of seismic data and its integration with gravity and magnetic data for purposes of locating sub-salt leads is expected to be finalised in Q3 2006.



Astrakhansky



The acquisition of the Astrakhansky asset was announced on 12 January 2006. The existing data is in the process of being inventoried and sent for digitisation, and a programme for further seismic data gathering for Astrakhansky is being prepared. The block has been inspected by the Company’s technical staff and the Imashevsky South well located. The Company expects to be able to assess the existing well by the end of Q2 2006 in order to determine the physical state of the well and to assess whether it is fit for re-entry and deepening.



East Alibek



152 km of 2D seismic was completed at the end of November 2005. The processing of the good quality data has been finalised and the interpretation is ongoing, alongside that of old data which will be incorporated as it is obtained from the relevant authorities. Maps have been prepared based on the completed gravity and magnetic surveys and complex interpretation has been initiated. The location of the first new exploration well will be determined by early April 2006 and the well is expected to spud in Q3 2006.



A&E Blocks



In the shallow zones on A&E Blocks, 898 km of high-quality 2D seismic has been shot. A total of 1,074 km 2D seismic shoot is planned and the programme should be completed by mid-February 2006. Maps have been prepared based on the completed gravity and magnetic surveys and complex interpretation, including seismic lines, have been initiated. There are 14 possible candidate fields for re-entry and two have been identified by the Company’s technical staff as particularly promising. A decision on which wells to re-enter is now expected in April 2006 and, subject to the timely availability of data, re-entry of wells is now expected to commence no later than May 2006. Max is targeting production from re-entered wells by Q2 2006.



The Company has also identified 13 named leads for shallow exploration drilling and a decision on which of these to drill first will be made by early April 2006.

Max is pleased to advise that its Management Team in Kazakhstan has now been finalised and consists of the following:

Sind aber jetzt gute Einstiegskurse.

Max Petroleum listed in London only in October and its shares have seen a fourfold increase. A sell-off was bound to happen at some point and it came yesterday, as traders reported that investors were selling out of Max to cover losses on Regal Petroleum. Regal dropped by 69 per cent on Tuesday after losing a court case in Ukraine.
