Service Greatly Improved, October 7, 2005

Hope this isn`t a duplicate as I typed one sooner but didn`t see it come up. I re-joined Gameznflix after a bad experience last fall. Got on board their "Come on Back" promotion. The availablity and service of this relatively small but growing company has improved 200%. They have more distribition sites. Their customer service and fulfillment, filling the orders, has been taken in-house instead of with a contractor. They have both games and movies so I also bought a subscription for my daughter`s family. She has 2 young "gamers". With a 3 out plan membership I can turn about 11-12 movies around in a month and they say it is going to get even better with a new mailer and other improvements. You can quit at any time but I encourage you to stay on board for at least 2-3 months to evaluate. Remember, to expect good service, you must keep a few "available" and "short wait" titles in your queue. They can`t be expected to have to buy a gazillion hot new releases every week to only have them sitting on a shelf gathering dust a month later. I had to wait a couple of weeks for The Aviator, and The Passion but I expect to have to do that.

My service has been perfect. I`ve had so many movies I havent had time to see them all. I will be busy watching DVD`s for quite some time. I had some questions so I opened a support ticket and was greeted by a response a few minutes later. I`ve already recommended them to my entire family and friends and I would recommend them to anyone looking to get movies and games directly to your house on a regular basis! If you have a netflix or gamefly account I recommend you signup with Gameznflix because you can get both games and DVDs and with the plans they offer you can get quite a large amount of both MORE THEN YOU CAN ACTUALLY WATCH OR PLAY!

I was suckered in by the good deal for the 8 out at a time for 14 months at only around $16 a month. What a mistake. I think once in the first 10 months have I actully had 8 out. Items I out on q list in September 2004 are stil there, just mocking me. Also it has taken some items more than a week to get to me. I would stay away from this service at all costs. Spend the extra money and use a seperate game and movie service, you will get much better results.

I have used Gameznflix since Aug 04. Initially, the service was slow regarding the new releases. However, I have young kids who enjoy watching children`s movies so I didn`t order new releases very often. Since the middle of January 05, I have seen a tremendous turn around regarding delivery times and availability. I can now get just about any movie in 2-3 days. Plus, we rent lots of games so Gameznflix is a great choice for us!

ok, I`ve seen a lot of negative comments here about gameznflix and am a little suprised and dissapointed at that. yes, they are not as fast as netflix; is anyone? true their website is not as easy to navigate as others-big deal; but, on the plus side they do have both games and dvds which is rare, and if you sign up for the 8 dvd/game out plan, which I recently did; it more than makes up for it. 8 dvds out for 16$ a month? heck of a deal if you ask me. btw, I was a nexfilx subscriber for well over a year, I own no stock in gameznflix nor do I work for them, I am just a satisfied customer since mid-2004. If you play games and watch dvds this is the perfect alternative to netflix and others; however, do consider the yearly plan though as its the best deal.

This is the worst service I have ever experienced, I have only recieved two movies this month. I switched from Gamefly because of the movies, that was a big mistake. Just to get away from Gameznflix it`s worth the loss of the non-refundable $55 I pre-paid for the first 4 months of my 1 year service. Every time I call in to find out what`s holding up my order I am told the items are not in stock, even on items that are not new releases. And when you cancel you are not allowed to use the remainder of the service you paid for. They don`t even get items the day of release, it`s faster and less stress to go to your local video store.
