Canada`s EnerGulf and SA`s Petro SA ready for oil exploration

The Ministry of Mines and Energy will later this month award a oil exploration licence to a consortium that includes EnerGulf Resources Inc and South Africa`s PetroSA, a senior official in the ministry said this week.

EnerGulf Resources Inc is listed on the Toronto TSX Venture Exchange and the Frankfurt Exchange (EKS). Petroleum Commissioner Immanuel Mulunga said in an interview in Windhoek that PetroSA will hold a 70% stake in the licence, EnerGulf 17%, the state-owned petroleum company Namcor 10% and local black empowerment partners will have a 3% stake. Final discussions are still going on before the licence is issued, Mulunga said. PetroSA is expected to carry Namcor, which in turn is expected to carry the empowerment partners during the exploration phase. The minimum exploration work required by the ministry is a detailed technical review, seismic reprocessing and site surveys with a minimum exploration expenditure of U$700,000.
Block 1711 lies on the international boundary with Angola and has two defined hydrocarbon exploration prospects.

Two more exploration licences will be awarded before the end of year, Mulunga said.
“Hopefully with all these licences, we hope to find oil”, said Mulunga.

Es wurde hier schon so oft danach gefragt und darüber spekuliert, warum dieser Santiagero so hartnäckig EnerGulf " schlecht redet" .

Hier nun eine mehr als plausible Erklärung von mir dazu:

Im Petrel-Thread hat Santi angedeutet, dass er Morchel (Eigentümer von bullVestor) für einen Push der Petrel-Aktie gewinnen wollte. Dazu liegen Morchel diverse eMails von Santi vor! Morchel hat dies entschieden abgelehnt.
Santis entsprechende Postings sind inzwischen von W, wohl aus gutem Grund gelöscht worden. Ich habe mir die entsprechenden Passagen rechtzeitig heraus kopiert, so dass sie gesichert sind und bleiben (Petrel-Thread: Nr. 19.085.943 vom 29.11.2005 Uhrzeit 12:00:46 und die Nr. 19.085.463 im selben Thread).

Als Reaktion auf Morchels Verweigerung eines Pushes von Petrel hat sich Santi vorgenommen:
dass er nicht eher Ruhe geben wird, bis dass sich alle Investoren aus der EnerGulf-Aktie verabschiedet haben und vertrieben sind (Morchels Zugpferd Nummer 1 bei den Empfehlungen). Er wollte wohl offensichtlich sehr viel Geld mit solch einem Push verdienen.

Santi führt also auf E u r e K o s t e n einen P r i v a t k r i e g gegen Morchel über diese Forum hier. Damit ist seine Intention absolut klar geworden. Er will Morchel schaden. Und wenn das auf Eure Kosten geschieht, ist es ihm wohl auch recht.
Sehr wahrscheinlich wird Santi an seinen Aktionen auch deftig verdienen, indem er entweder Aktien-Leerverkäufe tätigt (shorten) oder in Optionen (Puts) handelt. Die Reaktionen auf sein gebashe lassen sich einigermassen gut einschätzen und als sinkende Kurse ausrechnen.

Leute, lasst Euch von Santiagero und noch so einigen anderen Zeitgenossen hier nicht verunsichern und als " Lemminge" missbrauchen. Ihr habt von diesem Menschen bisher noch nicht einmal etwas Positives zu EnerGulf gehört. Das ist schon mehr als auffällig !!!!

Macht Euch doch einmal Eure eigenen Gedanken zu diesem Menschen und dem, was Ihr hier von ihm lest !!! Er ist angeblich nicht in dieser Aktie investiert, betreibt aber als " angeblicher Privatmann" einen sehr grossen Zeitaufwand, sowohl im angeblichen Research als auch im Posting hier. Lest seine Postings mal genau durch:
nur Vermutungen, Behauptungen und Verunsicherungen, die durch nichts, aber auch gar nichts begründet sind !!! Er w i l Euch nur v e r u n s i c h e r n und Euch veranlassen Eure Aktien billigst zu verkaufen. Wer sammelt diese billig verkauften Aktien denn wohl so bereitwillig ein?

Dagegen stehen ganz klar die bisherigen Fakten der Firma Energulf und ihrem Management. Diese Fakten kann jeder bei Bedarf hier im Thread, gleich zu Beginn nachlesen.

Meine Empfehlung: L a s s t E u c h n i c h t v e r u n s i c h e r n !!!

Das Management von EnerGulf ist aller " erste Sahne" , das haben sie doch bisher schon mehrmals bewiesen. Und der Rest wird auch schon werden. Die ins Visier genommenen Projekte sind jedenfalls erstklassig. Sucht solche Chancen mal bei anderen Invests oder Explorern. Das werdet Ihr schwerlich finden. Und das bei kalkulierbarem Risiko.
Mehr brauche ich zu diesem Theme eigentlich nicht zu sagen.
Kleinigkeitskrämer, wie Santi braucht in der Explorerwelt niemand. Also Santi:

Du und Deine Absichten sind ganz klar entblösst. Zeit zu verschwinden !!!!!!

ENERGULF YEAR END UPDATE



(HOUSTON) EnerGulf Resources Inc. (TSXV: ENG) is pleased to provide a year end update on its current projects. Jeff Greenblum, EnerGulf Chairman of the Board comments: “The year 2005 has been an exciting year for EnerGulf, as we have made incredible progress in pursuing our Pan-African business plan of assembling a strong portfolio of high-impact oil and gas exploration opportunities as well as adding world class talent to our technical team. We evaluated many areas of interest, entered into Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) covering three highly prospective areas, participated in drilling a well in South Texas and have been awarded Offshore Prospecting License (OPL) 252 in Nigeria. After entering into MOU’s in Namibia, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) we advanced each of the MOU’s to their next level. In Namibia, we have been offered a 17% interest in Block 1711, which we accepted; in the DRC, we have been granted a Production Sharing Contract (PSC); in Tanzania, we have submitted a proposed Production Sharing Agreement (PSA). Each of these major projects is a work in progress and their acquisition phase requires patience and discretion to achieve maximum accretion for our shareholders. We look forward to another hard working and exciting year in upcoming 2006, continuing to build on this year’s extraordinary accomplishments. Namibia Block 1711:

EnerGulf has been offered a 17% interest in offshore Block 1711 by the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Namibia. PetroSA has been offered a 70% interest, along with being operator will carry Namcor for 10% and local BEE group(s) for 3%. Since the offer was made, the parties have been conducting various due diligence and putting the finishing touches on the Exploration License. EnerGulf anticipates the formal signing ceremony for Block 1711’s Exploration License in the first quarter of 2006.



Lotshi Block, Democratic Republic of Congo:

EnerGulf’s wholly owned subsidiary, EnerGulf Africa Ltd. was granted an oil and gas PSC covering the Lotshi Block (420 sq. km) in the Congo Salt Basin, onshore, DRC. Per the terms of the PSC, and after Presidential decree, EnerGulf will pay a signature bonus of US$500,000 for a 90% interest in the PSC and will provide a letter of credit of US$500,000 toward its work program. EnerGulf will be the operator of the Block and will carry Cohydro, the parastatal oil company, for a 10% interest. EnerGulf has also been informed by the Ministry of Energy, that it will be granted and/or participate in additional blocks and is continuing to negotiate for further interests in the area. Preliminary technical work needed to commence the work program is currently ongoing.



Nigeria OPL 252:

EnerGulf is in discussions with various parties, including the government of Nigeria, concerning the terms commensurate with signing OPL 252’s PSC. The EnerGulf (60%)/Derock (40%) JV has been informed that January 30, 2006 is currently the deadline to satisfy the US$81 million signature bonus. EnerGulf, as technical partner of the JV, is conducting a technical review and is developing estimates of the hydrocarbon potential of the block.



Tanga Block, Tanzania:

EnerGulf has submitted its proposed PSA to the Tanzania Petroleum Development Commission (TPDC) and is awaiting an official reply. EnerGulf has made a fair and reasonable offer as to the proposed work program in the submitted PSA. If TPDC has not agreed to the offer by December 31, 2005, EnerGulf will reassess the Tanga Block’s potential and importance to EnerGulf’s overall business plan and determine what further course of action to take.



Longoria 174 #1, Duval County, Texas:

EnerGulf has been advised by the operator of the well, Killam Oil Company, that due to mechanical difficulties, testing procedures have not yet been completed on the Yegua sands. EnerGulf continues to be optimistic that the well will prove to be commercial. EnerGulf, through its wholly owned subsidiary, EnerGulf Corporation, holds a 5% working interest in the well and has paid 5% of the drilling and completion costs.



EnerGulf continues to evaluate potential new projects throughout Africa and the world. Further developments concerning current and future projects will be made public as events warrant..

Houston,, Texas – May 25, 2004 – Petrohawk Energy Corporation ("Company") (NASDAQ:Petrohawk ) announced today the closing of the previously announced transaction with Petrohawk Energy, LLC ("Petrohawk"). The shareholders of the Company voted overwhelmingly to approve the transaction, with approximately 95% of the voted shares cast in favor.

Under the terms of the definitive securities purchase agreement, Petrohawk paid $60,000,000 for 15,151,515 shares of the Company`s common stock, five-year common stock purchase warrants entitling Petrohawk to purchase up to 10,000,000 additional shares of common stock at a price of $1.65 per share, and a convertible note. The convertible note is an unsecured five-year obligation in the amount of $35,000,000 and is convertible after two years into common stock at a conversion price of $2.00 per share. Until maturity, interest only is payable under the note in quarterly installments at the rate of 8% per annum. The full amount of the principal and accrued and unpaid interest will be payable on the fifth anniversary of the date of the note.

Petrohawk now owns approximately 55% of the Company`s outstanding common stock. Petrohawk`s ownership of common stock of the Company would be approximately 73% assuming the exercise of all warrants and the conversion of the note. Petrohawk was advised in the transaction by Mitchell Energy Advisors, Dallas, Texas.

On May 18, 2004, the Company announced a one-for-two reverse stock split to be effective on May 26, 2004. Beginning tomorrow the Company`s common stock will trade under the symbol "Petrohawk D" and continue to do so for a period of 20 trading days. Der reverse split anlässlich der Übernahme war nötig weil der Beta-Kurs zu dem Zeitpunkt unter 5 Dollar notierte, verlangte die Nasdaq so. Der Öl und Gaspreis war übrigens seit dem IPO 99 massiv gestiegen, kann ja jeder selbst nachschauen. Aber der Kurs ....
Fetter war für die Exploration bei BETA zuständig, wenn ich recht informiert bin.

TWST: Could we start out with a brief overview of Beta Oil & Gas, Inc. (Nasdaq:BETA)?

Mr. Antry: Beta Oil & Gas is a public, NASDAQ-listed oil and gas company. We’re actually one of only two oil and gas companies to complete an initial public offering in the last two and a half years. It’s been a fairly light sector for the last several years. We completed our IPO in July 1999, and the IPO did well. We did it at $6, and when we had our one-year anniversary we traded at $12, and we trade at about $8.50 right now, I believe. We’re based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. We focus our exploration activities primarily in Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana. We’ve been very fast growing in the last few years. I made a conscious decision when we started the company three years ago really not to do any drilling in that period. So right now we’re sitting in an environment where there is starting to be a pretty heavy premium on that kind of inventory with commodity prices where they are. I filed my public offering in December 1998 when oil was $10 per barrel and natural gas was less than $2 per thousand cubic feet, per MCF, and now oil is over $30, and natural gas is over $5 per MCF. So we think that strategy is paying off for us.

TWST: Where would you like to see Beta in three years?

Mr. Antry: My strategy for the company, and this is actually stated in my published material as well, is to ramp the company up as far as growth in assets and cash flow and sell the company in three to five years. That’s our stated goal. People either like that strategy or they don’t. But it’s a cyclical industry, and there is a period of time when companies much larger than we are will want to secure natural gas reserves, whether they’re end-users or utilities or whatever. I think companies like ours will look attractive to purchase for them because we’ll have a lot of strong oil and gas reserves, but we’ll also have a large prospect inventory of undrilled stuff that they will want.

TWST: What should investors look at in your financial report?

Mr. Antry: What we are all about is our exploration inventory. If that is what somebody is looking for, we have a huge one for a company our size. We control about 500 square miles of proprietary seismic data, and within that seismic data there is a lot of drill sites that we’ve identified. When you look at the assets of a company like ours, we basically book things at cost basis as far as what you spent to acquire the data. The market value of that data is many times what we originally paid for it because the sector is heated up some much now. Starting now, there is to be a premium on that kind of data that’s available and ready to drill on. In our numbers, our assets are nice. I mean, our net assets are about $50 million right now, but the market value of those I believe is many times that number.

Beta Oil & Gas, Inc. ("Company") (Nasdaq:BETA) announced today it will implement a one-for-two reverse stock split to become effective at the opening of trading on Wednesday, May 26, 2004. Pursuant to the reverse split, each holder of Company common stock on May 26, 2004, will receive one share of common stock for each two shares of common stock it currently owns. The Company is effecting the split in conjunction with, and conditioned upon the closing of, its proposed transaction with Petrohawk Energy, LLC ("Petrohawk"), which is to be voted on by the Company`s stockholders on May 25, 2004. The Company Board of Directors has taken this action in accordance with Nevada Revised Statute Section 78.207. Assuming the closing with Petrohawk occurs, the number of outstanding shares will be reduced from 27,580,822 immediately following the closing of the transaction with Petrohawk to 13,790,411 (before taking into account the effect of fractional shares which will be redeemed for cash) as a result of the reverse split. The number of shares issuable upon the exercise or conversion of outstanding warrants, options and convertible preferred stock and the respective exercise and conversion prices will be appropriately adjusted to reflect the effects of the reverse stock split. Any resulting fractional shares will be redeemed for cash based on the average of the closing bid prices for the common stock for the five trading days immediately preceding the May 26, 2004, effective date. The reverse split will not be implemented in the event that the Petrohawk transaction fails to close.

On May 14, 2004, the Company received a letter from Nasdaq informing it that Nasdaq`s staff believes the Company`s proposed transaction with Petrohawk constitutes a "Reverse Merger" under Nasdaq Marketplace Rule 4330(f). Under this interpretation, the Company is required to submit an initial listing application and meet all the initial listing criteria on the Nasdaq National Market, including the requirement that the Company`s common stock have a minimum bid price of $5 per share, upon consummation of the Petrohawk transaction. On May 17, 2004, the closing bid price for the Company`s stock was $4.20 per share. The planned reverse split is expected to allow the Company to meet the minimum bid price requirement on the first trading day after the Petrohawk transaction is scheduled to close. The common stock will trade under the symbol "BETAD" for a period of 20 days as a result of the reverse stock split. At the end of the 20 day period, the trading symbol will return to "BETA". The Company has filed an initial listing application with Nasdaq and expects to meet all the requirements for listing on the Nasdaq National Market, including the minimum bid price requirement.

On December 15, 2003, the Company and Petrohawk announced that they had entered into a definitive Securities Purchase Agreement dated December 12, 2003, pursuant to which Petrohawk will invest a total of $60,000,000 in Company common stock, warrants and a convertible note. A special meeting of the Company`s stockholders in connection with this proposed transaction is scheduled to be held on May 25, 2004. At the meeting, the Company stockholders are expected to vote on, among other items, the proposed issuance of Company common stock to Petrohawk in exchange for Petrohawk`s investment of an aggregate of $60 million in cash for 15,151,515 shares of common stock, warrants to purchase 10,000,000 shares of common stock (exercisable at a price of $1.65 per share) and a convertible promissory note in the principal amount of $35,000,000 (which is convertible into common stock at a price of $2.00 per share). Petrohawk is a privately held independent exploration and production company based in Houston. The Company and Petrohawk expect to close the transaction, if approved, shortly after the Company special stockholders meeting.

Die Kursziele von z.B. 100 Dollar für einen Pennystock sind für manche eben der Stoff zum Träumen, astronomische Kursziele ziehen sich durch alle
morchel-Pushs, siehe unten.

Mich wundert ja eher, dass "Morchel" überhaupt noch `arbeiten` - d.h. diese lustige Postille schreiben muss. Der hat doch eigentlich das geniale Geschäftsmodell mit dem er längst Multimillionär sein müsste: Egal ob die Aktien, die er pumpt was taugen (meist wohl Schrott der an seiner Heimatbörse keine Financiers findet), er verdient immer dran. Na vielleicht hat er mittleweile auch seine Ghostwriter, aber der Stil des neuesten Mawson Pushs heute im Laufband klingt immer noch nach Original Morchel. Vielleicht Textbausteine?

Ich nehme ja diese meist völlig irrelevanten Pseudoinfos, die der Mensch verbreitet nicht mehr ernst, seit der damals noch auf seiner alten Zockstocks Seite und in Threads im Februar 05 diese Betrugs-Masche mit den angeblichen Vermögenswerten von Crown als äußerst aussichtsreiche Buchwertspekulation verkauft hat.
Nachzulesen den ersten 400 Postings von Thread Thread: !!! UNTERBEWERTETE PERLE – KURS NUR 1/6 VOM BUCHWERT !!! (dort hat er sich übrigens auch mal geoutet) und seinen eigenen Threads zu Crown.

Gleichzeitig hatte der `Börsenexperte` das Stop-loss bei dieser hochvolatilen Zockeraktie so knapp unter seinem Empfehlungskurs platziert, dass es gleich durch war.


Da war mir eigentlich klar, dass der von der Börse an sich keine Ahnung hat, aber mit seinen Sprüchen und seiner vermutlich gefakten Sebstdarstellung (armer Arbeiter der für den Ruhestand anlegt) ein genialer Verkäufer von Stories ist.

(Nur an der Oberfläche der glänzenden Stories sollte man nicht zu kräftig kratzen, da kommen dann oft recht wenig
glänzende Dinge raus, siehe Rybak, siehe Fetter. Solche Burschen werden ja in den Pusherpostillen immer als tolle, erfolgreiche Manager dargestellt.. und dann, wenn man genauer hinschaut )


Das zweite Beispiel, das ich mir damals noch angetan hatte, war Tiger (Thread mit dem typischen Morchel-Titel ` Jungfrau wird zum heißen Luder`)

Da hat er die Lemminge in die Aktie gejagt (Anfangspostings), kurz vor einer ganz massiven Optionsausübung, sogar die Optionen empfohlen. Natürlich kam es dann wieder zu den unvermeidlichen massiven Kursverlusten...

Hier wurde übrigens fast ausschließlich mit dem bekannten Namen des CEO
Eckhoff geworben, der mal dort bei Tiger ein kurzes Gastspiel gab und bei Moto wohl einige Anleger beglückt hatte. Die waren dann bei Tiger gleich mit dabei.. Das scheint für einige sowieso wie beim Roulette zu sein: Wenn sie mit Rot mal gewonnen haben, gleich wieder drauf setzen. Nähere Infos braucht man da doch nicht ...


Ich glaube aber, dass mittlerweile recht viele Leute das Spiel durchschaut haben und einfach mit cleverer Berechnung die BV Pushs mitspielen, bzw rechtzeitig den Ausstieg finden. Und für viele ist es ein Zock auch wenn sie ständig über
werthaltige Anlagen labern (manche können dann vielleicht auch Traum und Realität nicht mehr trennen oder reden so für die Lemminge, die man immer mit im Spiel braucht ... )

Und manche beherrschen die Kunst, noch Spielchen obendraufsetzen wie Morchels alter Trabant fricki.

Wir könnten uns an dieser Stelle ja mal ein wenig die Zeit vertreiben und Aktien nennen, die möglicherweise dieses Jahr eine schöne Performance hinlegen können? Ich positioniere ich immer gerne am Anfang eines Jahres. Allerdings sollten es keine Himmelfahrtskommandos sein wie ENG.
Letztes Jahr, und ihr könnt die Performance nachschauen, war ich in Stratec und Vivacon investiert, in Drillisch und United Internet bin ich es noch. Allerdings sind die alle so gut gelaufen, ich glaube nicht, dass da noch einmal 100% zu holen sind.
Wer hat Vorschläge, die wir diskutieren können, bis Jeff zu Potte kommt?

A Dow Jones dispatch to The Globe reports that a unit of China National Offshore Oil is spending $2.27-billion (U.S.) buying a 45-per-cent stake in a Nigerian offshore oil and gas field. CNOOC Ltd. will invest an extra $2.25-billion (U.S.) that is required to develop the field. The deal is subject to approval by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corp. and the Chinese government. The Nigerian deal is CNOOC`s biggest acquisition outside Asia. Total runs the Akpo field. Atlantic Petroleum owns the field. South Atlantic is owned by Theophilus Danjuma. Mr. Danjuma is a former Nigerian defence minister. Energy consultant Wood Mackenzie estimated Akpo`s recoverable reserves of light oil condensate at 620-million barrels. At peak production, the fields are expected to produce 225,000 barrels of oil a day, says Total. China`s oil companies have been on the prowl globally trying to secure oil resources to keep up with booming economic growth. CNOOC, however, plans to sell Akpo`s oil and gas to Europe and the United States, rather than China.

LAGOS (AP)--Zum dritten Mal innerhalb weniger Tage haben Bewaffnete am Sonntag in Nigeria eine Ölbohrinsel überfallen. Sie eröffneten am frühen Morgen das Feuer auf Soldaten, die die Bohrinsel des Konzerns Dutch Shell (Nachrichten/Aktienkurs) im Nigerdelta überwachten. Die Soldaten hätten die Schüsse erwidert, erklärte ein Militärsprecher. Ob sie die Kontrolle über die Bohrinsel verloren, war zunächst unklar. Aus Militärkreisen verlautete, es habe auf beiden Seiten mehrere Opfer gegeben.

Ein Shell-Sprecher bestätigte den Überfall, nannte aber keine Einzelheiten. Das Unternehmen habe aus Angst vor weiteren Angriffen mit der Evakuierung mehrerer seiner Anlagen in der Region begonnen. Anwohner berichteten, die Streitkräfte hätten Verstärkung geschickt, Kampfhubschrauber seien im Einsatz.

Am Mittwoch hatten Bewaffnete eine andere Shell-Bohrinsel in der Region angegriffen und vier Ausländer entführt. Am Donnerstag wurde eine Pipeline des Konzerns angegriffen. Die Ölexporte Nigerias sanken daraufhin vorübergehend um 10%.

Zu den beiden Angriffen bekannte sich eine bislang unbekannte Gruppe namens Bewegung für die Emanzipation des Nigerdeltas. Sie forderte alle westlichen Ölkonzerne auf, die Region zu verlassen. Von der nigerianischen Regierung forderte sie die Freilassung des Milizenführers Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, der für eine größere örtliche Kontrolle des Ölreichtums eintritt.

Die Aktie weist Merkmale auf, die verdächtig auf eine Pump-und-dump-Abzocke hindeuten.

Spätestens jetzt wäre es Zeit, seine Gewinne - sofern vorhanden - zu realisieren und der Aktie adieu zu sagen.

Aus der Aktie wird nämlich wahrscheinlich nichts mehr.

Tja, sieht aus, als ob der gute Tom Fetter derzeit wieder bohrt, dass der rote Saft nur so spritzt.
Ich denke mal dass der Schlunz so zwischen 80-90 cent wieder dreht für nen kleinen Rebound von ungefähr 40%.

Eine neue `fat cat` (Afrikakenner wissen was das bedeutet ) steht ja nun auch wieder auf der Gehaltsliste ..wenn sie den rechtzeitig aus den
Pombé-Buden ziehen, sagt der gute Mann dem Jeff vielleicht sogar, wann die nächste Versteigerung ist und BV kann wieder lospushen.
