      Unglaublich!

The Baker Uranium Project - A regional play with uranium in drill holes
      3/2/2006

/NOT FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES/
      TSX Venture Symbol: PEX
      OTC:BB: PFREF

VANCOUVER, Mar 2, 2006 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) --
Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. ("Pacific Ridge") has now completed initial data compilation of historic exploration within the Baker Uranium Project. Prior airborne geophysics, surface sampling and drill hole assay results indicate potential for high-grade uranium mineralization within the project area.

The Baker Project located in southwestern Nunavut covers approximately 510,000 acres (206,400 ha) of land prospective for uranium occurrences along a 60 kilometre length of the southern boundary of the Baker Lake Basin. The ground was acquired through federally issued Prospecting Permits and establishes a coherent land package.

The Baker Lake Basin is one of four Proterozoic Age basins within the Canadian Shield that are host to uranium deposits, including the Athabasca, Thelon and Great Bear basins.

Highlights of the Baker Project include the following: Prior explorers completed airborne radiometric surveys in 1969 and 1974 that defined a trend of uranium targets along the 60 kilometre length of the southern boundary area of the Baker Lake Basin. Intermittent follow-up exploration programs by New Continental Oil, Pan Ocean, Cominco and Noranda during the period 1969 thru 1981 outlined `in place` as well as glacial boulders containing uranium mineralization. No significant uranium exploration has been reported in the area since the early 1980s. Radiometric anomalies were followed by ground surveys and limited drilling programs as further described below. Additional regional targets that did not see ground follow-up will form part of Pacific Ridge`s 2006 exploration program. 694 Zone -------- The 694 Zone, originally discovered and explored by New Continental Oil Co. (Assessment Reports 19889 & 60760), consists of three parallel north trending structural zones positioned in the Achaean footwall to the recently eroded Baker Lake basin sediments. The eastern zone, traced by ground radiometric surveys, with values exceeding 100 counts per second, is open beyond 450 metres in length. Three shallow holes along a 120 metre length of the northern end of the 694 Zone reported uranium values as tabled below. << 694 Historic Drill Hole Assays ------------------------------ Hole Intercept Interval Assay Assay (m) (m) (% U3O8) (lbs/T U3O8) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- T-1 63.1 - 64.6 1.5 0.37 8.1 and 79.1 - 80.5 1.4 0.87 19.1 T-4 91.4 - 92.9 1.5 0.31 6.8 T-5 120.7 - 123.1 2.4 1.68 37.0 The western zone, located 200 metres west of the eastern zone, was traced for 200 metres on surface and tested by two shallow holes with intercepts assaying less than 0.1% U3O8 over 1.0 metre. The central zone, defined by radiometric anomalies and surface prospecting with select grabs assaying to 3.4% U3O8, was not drill tested. The central zone structure also hosted sections of massive pitchblende up to 0.2 metre-thick that provides an immediate drill target for high-grade uranium mineralization. Elsewhere, exposed mineralization is reported as disseminated to massive pitchblende within a fracture system varying in thickness of 0.3 to 3.7 metres. This fault-controlled mineralization occurs in the Achaean basement approximately 1.0 kilometre south of the present Baker Lake basin`s southern boundary. 741 Zone -------- Located 16 kilometres to the northeast of the 694 Zone and within the Baker Lake basin sandstone formation, the 741 Zone was discovered by surface prospecting and tested with 17 drill holes by a Cominco/Pan Ocean joint venture in 1975 and 11 holes in 1976. The joint venture intersected uranium mineralization in 6 holes with the highlight being hole KZ-10 which reported 3 intersections along a 120 metre length separated by barren intervals, as follows: Hole Intercept Interval Assay Assay (m) (m) (% U3O8) (lbs/T U3O8) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- KZ - 10 23.5 - 40.9 17.4 0.15 3.3 KZ - 10 76.5 - 90.1 13.6 0.35 7.7 KZ - 10 105.8 - 111.2 5.4 0.84 18.5 B119 Prospect ------------- As follow-up to an airborne radiometric anomaly located within the basin sediments near the basement unconformity and approximately 12 kilometres northeast of the 694 Zone, Pan Ocean discovered `unconformity-style` uranium mineralization in 1980. Pan Ocean reported completion of 22 drill holes averaging 120 metres deep to the basement rocks. Uranium mineralization was intersected in several widespread holes with the following values in drill holes 80-9 and 80-16, as reported by Pan Ocean. Hole Intercept Interval Assay Assay (m) (m) (% U3O8) (lbs/T U3O8) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 80-9 95.4 - 121.3 25.9 0.13 2.9 including 96.3 - 100.2 3.9 0.44 9.7 including 96.3 - 107.9 11.6 0.23 5.1 80-16 151.4 - 152.9 1.5 0.37 8.1 Mineralization was described as being related to an electromagnetic conductor. Data compilation by Pacific Ridge indicates that additional electromagnetic conductors remain to be drill tested. Located 3 kilometres north of Lake Bissett and 10 kilometres east of 741 Zone, prospecting by Pan Ocean located a zone of anomalous angular radioactive frost-heaved boulders. Scintillometer readings ranged from 800 cps to greater than 10,000 cps. Three boulders assayed 1.20% U3O8 to 2.12% U3O8 and averaged 1.55% U3O8. All mineralized float is composed of cross-bedded sandstone. Within the general area of Bissett Lake, approximately 30 kilometres east of Zone 694, prior workers outlined a cluster of uranium occurrences within altered regolith lying on basement rocks at the unconformity. Boulder sampling yielded selected grabs to 1.6% U3O8. Several areas were drill tested with results that are currently being reviewed and compiled. Prior holes did intersect uranium mineralization with reported intersections as high as 0.48% U3O8 over 2.1 metres.
In review, historic exploration has outlined attractive uranium targets and zones of uranium mineralization throughout a 60 kilometre length along the southern unconformable contact of the Baker Lake basin. Preliminary compilation by Pacific Ridge has already outlined drill targets prospective for discovery of high-grade uranium mineralization. Pacific Ridge is planning an active season of surface examination of all targets and drilling, and is in the process of applying for the appropriate work permits. Pacific Ridge will outline its exploration plans through community consultations this spring.

Pacific Ridge`s disclosure of a technical or scientific nature are prepared under the supervision of Wayne J. Roberts, P.Geo, Pacific Ridge`s Vice-President of Exploration, who serves as the Qualified Person under the definition of National Instrument 43-101. All of the above technical information has been obtained from reports within the government records as submitted by prior exploration companies, and although it cannot be verified, it is expected to be reliable.

Matrix Gold Project Increased By 110,000 Acres
      =======================================================================

NOT FOR DISSEMINATION TO US NEWSWIRE SERVICES OR FOR DISSEMINATION IN
      THE UNITED STATES

      Press Release #06-07

Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. is pleased to announce that Newmont
Canada Limited, a subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corporation (NYSE &
ASX:NEM; TSX:NMC), has notified Pacific Ridge that Newmont has acquired
prospecting permits totaling 110,000 acres within an area of mutual
interest of the Matrix Gold Project located in central Nunavut. As
these permits were acquired within the boundaries of the joint venture
area, Pacific Ridge has advised Newmont that it elects to accept a
proportionate interest in this newly acquired ground.

Newmont has the option to earn an initial 60% interest in mineral
properties comprising the Matrix Project by spending a total of C$4.0
million in staged exploration expenditures and making cash payments
totaling C$400,000 to Pacific Ridge and Kaminak Gold Corporation prior
to December 31, 2007. Upon earning its initial interest, Newmont may
elect to form a joint venture, with Newmont owning 60%, and Pacific
Ridge and Kaminak, each holding 20%. Newmont may also elect to
increase its interest to 70% by spending an additional C$10 million on
the project, after which a joint venture would be formed with Newmont
holding 70%, and Pacific Ridge and Kaminak each holding 15%.

Pacific Ridge has been advised by Newmont that their 2005 exploration
program at the Matrix Gold Project in Nunavut was successful in
exploration of gold-bearing conglomerate zones, based on which an
expanded 2006 exploration program, to include diamond drilling, is
      planned.

As previously reported by Pacific Ridge, the gold-bearing conglomerate
horizons found within the Matrix Project have geological analogies to
the billion-ounce Witwatersrand Basin in South Africa.

Pacific Ridge Drills 0.32% U3O8 Over 3.4 Metres From The Newly Discovered "Lucky-7" Zone At Baker Lake
Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. (PEX:TSXV) as operator and project partner Kaminak Gold Corporation (KAM:TSXV) have now received final drilling results from the 2006 diamond drilling program at the Baker Basin Uranium Project, located in the Kivalliq Region of the Nunavut Territory.

      Highlights:

      * 14 holes drilled, 4 previously reported, new assay results from 10 drill holes, in three separate zones of uranium mineralization
      * First ever drilling at the Lucky-7 prospect returns 0.32% U3O8 over 3.4 metres
      * 2006 exploration results definitely warrant continued drilling in 2007

A total of fourteen drill holes were completed in 2006 to test the depth extent of the previously known KZ and 694 Zones and also to drill test the newly discovered Lucky-7 Zone. The first four drill holes were completed at the KZ Zone, where intercepts of 0.31% U3O8 over 11.5 metres and 0.27% U3O8 over 5.8 metres were reported by Pacific Ridge on October 18th. New results from the remaining ten drill holes, at the Lucky-7, KZ and 694 Zones, are presented below.

The Baker Basin is an emerging uranium district immediately adjacent to the Thelon Basin. The Baker and Thelon Basins are geologically similar to the Athabasca Basin, 350 kilometres to the south, where approximately one-third of the world's uranium production is generated.

      Lucky-7 Zone

Lucky-7 is a new prospecting discovery made during the summer of 2006. The surface exposure of the Lucky-7 Zone was chip sampled across its width and yielded an assay of 0.27% U3O8 over 3.9 metres, a saw cut channel several metres away yielded 0.19% U3O8 over 3.1 metres. The average grade of 23 mineralized frost-heaved boulders assayed to 0.32% U3O8 (see Pacific Ridge news release dated October 2, 2006). Three angled drill holes were completed from a single set-up along section 8200N. The first two holes returned intercepts of 0.14% U3O8 over 1.6 metres and 0.32% over 3.4 metres. The third hole was the deepest hole at Lucky-7, however, worsening drill conditions at depth forced this hole to be shut down before the target was reached. No significant uranium assays were obtained despite strong alteration at the bottom of the hole.

** True widths are estimated at between 50% and 70% of total drill intervals. Uranium mineralization at Lucky-7 occurs in altered and bleached Kazan sandstone associated with a northerly trending structure. A ground radiometric survey was completed over an area measuring approximately 2 kilometres by 2 kilometres that defined a northerly trending radiometric target measuring 500 metres in length and 100 to 200 metres in width contoured with values of 200 cps. Initial exploration results are very encouraging and further drilling in 2007 will continue to evaluate this target.

      KZ Zone

The KZ Zone has been defined by a radiometric survey to be over 1 kilometre in length. Historic drilling of vertical holes along approximately 350 metres of the 1 kilometre target zone saw several holes with uranium values of 0.84% U3O8 over 5.4 metres at depths less than 100 metres from surface. The 2006 drilling program is the first attempt to test mineralized extensions to depth. The first four holes all intersected significant uranium mineralization (see Pacific Ridge news release dated October 18, 2006). Hole 5 returned 0.14% U3O8 over 0.8 metres extending known mineralization approximately 55 metres along strike. Hole 6 was a deep step-out hole designed to test the unconformity region for uranium mineralization. Although poor drilling conditions stopped the drill short of the unconformity, several intervals of 0.10% U3O8 to 0.20% U3O8 over 1 to 3 metres were encountered between 88 and 317 metre depths.

      694 Zone

The 694 Zone, partially explored by previous operators with a program of pitting and 6 short drill holes, consists of structurally-controlled uranium mineralization within basement gneissic rocks just below the eroded basin sediments. Field work in 2006 confirmed the presence of several north-south trending structures that host structurally-controlled uranium mineralization within basement gneissic rocks. Six individual mineralized structures have been mapped within a 250 metre-wide zone over a strike length of 200 metres. Grab samples of frost-heaved mineralization graded to 16.4% U3O8.

Drilling determined that the 694 structures controlling the uranium mineralization were moderately dipping to the west and the historic drilling program hit the zones at a sharp angle thus exaggerating the length of the mineralized intervals. The angled drilling program confirmed the depth continuity of the uranium-bearing structures but narrow widths and variable grades obtained during the 2006 drilling program has reduced the priority of this target. Five angled holes were completed at the 694 Zone and results are summarized below:

      Summary

Pacific Ridge spent over $1.6 million in 2006 exploring the 2060-square-kilometre Baker Basin Uranium Project. The project area is host to at least 20 known uranium prospects that occur along 75 kilometres of the Archean-Proterozoic unconformity. The sampling of outcrop and frost-heaved boulders, in combination with large, grid-controlled radiometric surveys, defined five targets. Three of these targets, the Lucky-7, KZ and 694 Zones, saw initial drill programs in 2006. Encouraging drill results from the KZ Zone and the new Lucky-7 Zone, as well as the new "7-one" Zone surface discovery (see Pacific Ridge news release dated October 18. 2006), will demand follow-up drill programs in 2007. Assays of eight large angular boulders from the "7-one" Zone range from 0.81% U3O8 to 1.83% U3O8 and average 1.29% U3O8.

      Pacific Ridge and Kaminak

Under the terms of the option agreement, Pacific Ridge has the right to earn an initial 51% interest by December 31, 2008 by making exploration expenditures totaling $2.0 million and staged payments totaling 400,000 Units, with each Unit consisting of one common share and one 12-month share purchase warrant with an exercise price set in accordance with market at the time of issuance of the Unit. Pacific Ridge will have the right to increase its interest to 60% by spending an additional $1.0 million prior to December 31, 2010. Thereafter, Pacific Ridge and Kaminak will form a joint venture in accordance with their interests then held. Underlying interests are held by Hunter Exploration Group as to a 2% Net Smelter Return interest, and by Shear Minerals Ltd./Stornoway Diamond Corporation who collectively hold an 8.5% Net Profits Interest. The option agreement with Pacific Ridge pertains to all commodities other than diamonds.

Significant Exploration and Development in the Baker Lake Region

The Baker Basin Uranium Project, located within the Baker Lake Basin, is immediately adjacent to the Thelon Basin where Areva Resources Canada Ltd. ("Areva") owns the Kiggavik-Sissons Schultz uranium deposits, located approximately 80 kilometres west of Baker Lake. Areva, in a November 2005 project presentation, reported that three of the Kiggavik uranium deposits contained a combined geological resource of 50,630 tonnes uranium (representing a non-43-101 compliant historic resource of 131 million pounds U3O8). It is of interest that Areva recently opened a community relations office in the town of Baker Lake.

Baker Lake, with summer access to ocean shipping and year-round airport facilities, brings important logistical support to mineral exploration and development underway in the Baker Lake region.

Located 70 kilometres north of Baker Lake is Cumberland Resource's 2,890,000 ounce Meadowbank gold deposit. Cumberland has received a positive development recommendation from Nunavut Impact Review Board and depending on receipt of permits and licences, operation from three shallow open pits could commence in late 2008 or early 2009.

      Sample Handling

All samples collected at the Baker Basin Uranium Project are sealed in sample bags at site and forwarded in secure containers to Activation Laboratories in Ancaster, Ontario for uranium analysis. All samples are initially analyzed by a DNC technique utilizing a reactor. All high values in excess of 0.5% U3O8 are then re-analyzed by XRF and titration methods. Pacific Ridge employs a QC/QA program that includes random insertion of internal duplicates and blanks into the sample stream as well as check assays by an external laboratory.

Pacific Ridge's disclosure of a technical or scientific nature has been reviewed by George Norman, P.Geo, a Qualified Person under the definition of National Instrument 43-101 and project geologist for the Baker Basin Uranium Project.

      Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES

VANCOUVER (Dow Jones)--Geologist John Brock has been involved with junior mining companies for four decades, spending his time discovering more than a dozen viable deposits and raising well over C$100 million in financing for grassroots exploration projects.
These days, he finds himself president, chief executive and a director of Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. (PEX.V), a company sitting on three core properties - a gold project in Nunavut, a copper-gold play in the Yukon and a flagship uranium project called Baker just on the edge of the Thelon Basin - a place where one can, with luck, patience, money and science, find a healthy and economically viable U3O8 deposit.
"The company has been around since the late 1970s and it's always been involved in mineral exploration in Canada," he told Dow Jones Newswires.
That means Pacific Ridge has seen its share of mining-sector cycles. The last hard winter, so to speak, occurred in the late 1990s, when mines went dark and scads of talented people left for other fields.
When things started turning around in about 2002, Brock and his senior management team - who have also been around the junior scene for decades - went into action.
The geologists went after the Fyre Lake project in southeast Yukon first, and have now spent C$6 million exploring and drilling for copper and gold since 2002.
"The project is now primed for a joint-venture partner to take it further," Brock said, who added that grades at its Kona deposit run at 2.1% copper, 0.11% cobalt and 0.73 grams per metric ton of gold, using a 1.0% copper cut-off.
"The project is wide open for exploration at depth," he said. "We have several mid-sized to large companies in mind for a partnership."
He hopes to lock up a partner in the early part of 2007 so that drilling can start in June or July.
Of course, since Pacific Ridge has already dropped C$6 million on the
project, a partner, in order to buy into the venture, would have to stump up C$6 million plus a premium, Brock said.
A second, more grassroots-level project is the Matrix gold project in
southern Nunavut. Brock says Kaminak Gold Corp. (KAM.V) brought the project to Pacific Ridge after it had realized the property carried all the features of mineralization found in South Africa's famous Witwatersrand Basin - an area that's generated 90 mines and 1 billion ounces of gold, he said. "There were surface occurrences of gold mineralization in conglomerate rocks - and to find a target that's similar (to Witwatersrand) is encouraging," Brock said.

      Newmont Recently Abandoned Nunavut Project

Pacific Ridge optioned the property in 2002, then found itself a year later optioning it to Newmont Mining Corp. (NEM), which did a lot of work and prospecting on the property through to 2006, when drilling commenced.
Brock said Newmont quickly ran into some challenging technical difficulties, decided it was no longer a core asset and abandoned the project. Now it's back in Pacific Ridge's hands.
"We and Kaminak are prepared to continue and drill, but we haven't gotten to the definite budget stage yet," he said.
That leaves the third, and most important, Pacific Ridge asset: its uranium project on the southern boundary of the Baker Lake Basin. Brock says the basin could arguably be described as a part-and-parcel tract of the uranium-rich Thelon Basin and one that's just up the road from the now-world-famous uranium deposits found in the Athabasca Basin - Cameco Corp.'s (CCJ) playground.
The Baker Basin - extensively explored in the 1960s and 1970s by the likes of Cominco and Noranda - is so popular with the now 400-plus uranium explorers looking over Canada's tundra for yellowcake, Pacific Ridge finds itself surrounded by the likes of Areva (427583.FR), Majescor Resources Inc. (MAJ.V), Cameco, Cumberland Resources Ltd. (CLG), Western Uranium (WUC.V), Titan Exploration Ltd. (TTN.A.T) and Diamonds North Resources Ltd. (DDN.V) - to name a few.
The 500,000-acre site has more than 20 known uranium prospects, Brock said. Pacific Ridge has so far drilled at three of the sites, with one of the more promising ones called the Lucky-7 zone, he said. One drill hole gave up a grading of 0.31% U3O8 over 11.5 meters.
While this sounds enticing, it's early days for such a project: the work ahead is clearly formidable. Brock expects another C$2 million to be spent on the Baker project in 2007. He hopes to have another 20 to 30 holes drilled by the time the drilling season ends next October.
If he can achieve this, then Pacific Ridge will have spent C$3 million on the Baker project and fullfilled its right to earn a 60% stake in the venture, with Kaminak holding the other 40%.
Brock also plans to spent another C$1 million on the Matrix gold project in 2007 as well.
This translates into a coming private placement, given that Pacific Ridge has C$1.1 million in the bank. Brock said the equity financing would probably be done in May, with the goal of raising C$4 million. Warrants and perhaps flow-through funding will be part of the exercise - a tactic that's been used often this year by fellow juniors.
Brock describes Pacific Ridge as a pure exploration play and his goal is to push the projects towards National Instrument 43-101 compliance - a graduation day that will likely mark the end of the company's autonomy.
"Once you get to a NI 43-101 compliant resource, you're immediately targeted for acquisition, merger and takeover," he said.
Then - as it is for many geologists and prospectors - Brock could be on to the next grassroots project.

wenig aufregender start in neue woche - dafür aber
akt. ML- einschätzung zur entwicklung der uran- preises.......

Merrill Lynch Research Analyst Anita Soni increased her 2007 spot forecast for uranium 42% from $53/lb to $75/lb. Amongst modest increases in Merrill Lynch's forecast for gold and silver, this 78% upwards increase in the uranium forecast definitely stands out. Because of Cigar Lake's aftermath, Soni said that "utilities are now scrambling to cover their commitments and thus demand is expected to remain tight for some time to come."

Soni cite various factors for her drastic revision, including a lack of new mega-projects moving to development, a future decrease in Russian uranium material exports, and growth in Far East nuclear reactor development. She did remark that potential supply could come from government-owned KazAtomprom in Kazakhstan and I have detailed before Kazakhstan's very ambitious plans to be one of the leaders in uranium production.

Australia continued its march towards uranium export. Several weeks ago, the Switkowski report on the future of nuclear energy in that country came out and was decidedly positive for nuclear power, paving the way for export to China, and possibly India and Japan.

Finally, the spot price of uranium hit $65/lb this week.

Pinnacle Digest: Pacific Ridge Exploration: Sector Update
      12/20/2006
Dec 20, 2006 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Pacific Ridge Exploration (TSX-V: PEX) is a mining company whose primary focus is the Baker Uranium Project, which resides in the emerging uranium district in south-western Nunavut. Shareholders witnessed improvement Tuesday as their company's share value increased 3.45% with 467,349 shares exchanging hands before the sound of the closing bell. The share price ranged from a high of $0.315 to a low of $0.28 before settling near the high at $0.30 to end the day. PinnacleDigest believes that the health of the uranium sector is having a significant influence over companies such as Pacific Ridge Exploration. Our team decided to investigate this connection further. To find out why our client base continues to grow, come explore www.pinnacledigest.com.

In sector news, uranium continues to be a hot commodity as hedge funds are increasingly adding this resource to their investment portfolios. The steady move towards nuclear energy has been occurring since 2001 when the spot price for uranium was under $10. "We're in a historic uranium shortage," said James Passin, who manages $580 million at New York-based Firebird Management and began buying shares of uranium producers five years ago. "We're in a global nuclear revival." The questions that need answers are: Why is supply so dry? And where is this increasing demand coming from?

According to representatives Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. recently reported that it has issued 2,390,000 shares on the exercise of share purchase warrants, for gross proceeds of $597,500. The remaining share purchase warrants, which expired on December 16, 2006, allowing for the purchase of up to 2,500,000 shares were not exercised. PinnacleDigest is interested in this latest announcement and will be monitoring this company in the New Year. VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Jan 15, 2007 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX News Network) --

Kaminak Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE:KAM) is pleased to provide an update on its joint ventured projects. In 2006, Kaminak had three joint venture agreements which covered the Baker Lake Uranium Project, Voigtberg Gold Project, and Matrix Gold Project. Total exploration expenditures to date by Kaminak's partners on these projects has exceeded CDN $4,500,000. Diamond drill programs were completed on all three projects in 2006 and brief technical summaries are stated below.

Baker Lake Uranium Project - optioned to Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd.

Kaminak's partner, Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd., (TSX VENTURE:PEX) spent approximately CDN $2.0 million in 2006 exploring the Baker Lake Uranium Project located in Nunavut. As part of the Option Agreement, Pacific Ridge has now issued Kaminak a total of 200,000 Units. The sampling of outcrop and frost heaved boulders, in combination with large, grid-controlled radiometric survey, defined five targets. Three of these targets, Lucky 7, KZ, and 694 Zones, saw initial drill programs in 2006. Encouraging drill results include 0.31% U3O8 over 11.5 metres from the KZ Zone and 0.34% U3O8 over 3.4 metres from the new Lucky-7 Zone (see Kaminak news release dated October 18th, 2006). Additional new prospecting discoveries were also made including the new "7-one" Zone. Eight large angular boulders from the "7-one" Zone assayed between 0.81% U3O8 to 1.83% U3O8 and average 1.29% U3O8. These boulders are interpreted to be proximal to an inferred bedrock source and further follow-up is warranted. Kaminak is encouraged by these initial results and is currently awaiting a final report of 2006 activities from Pacific Ridge including proposals for a 2007 work program.

Voigtberg Gold Project - optioned to BCGold Corp.

Kaminak's partner, BCGold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:BCG), spent CDN $350,000 in 2006 conducting prospecting and diamond drilling on the Voigtberg Project. The target at Voigtberg is a bulk tonnage / low grade "porphyry" gold deposit located less than 4 kilometres from the proposed access road to the high-profile Galore Creek Cu-Au-Ag Project in northwest British Columbia. BCGold completed four initial diamond drill holes and successfully intersected a wide interval of near surface porphyry-style gold mineralization grading 1.03 g/t Au over 51.15m. Within this 51.15m zone, separate intervals of 11.27m grading 2.0 g/t Au and 4.17m grading 2.74 g/t Au were encountered. Individual assays ranged up to 7.97 g/t Au over 1.3m (see Kaminak news release dated October 25th, 2006). These new drill intercepts are the most significant results on the property to date and confirm the potential for economic mineralization on the property. Final reports from the 2006 season have now been received and preliminary 2007 work programs and budgets are expected to be finalized this winter.

      Matrix Gold Project

In August of 2006, Kaminak was notified by Newmont Canada Limited that Newmont was terminating an option agreement on the Matrix Project. An underlying option agreement with Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. was held in abeyance during the Newmont option period. In September of 2006, Kaminak presented Pacific Ridge with an updated schedule of exploration expenditures that were required to keep their option in good standing through 2006; however, the terms of this new timetable were not met and as a result Kaminak has regained complete control of the Matrix Project. Newmont spent approximately $2.2 million (USD) on the property since 2004, and had planned a 1,200m drill program on the property in July of 2006. However, logistical problems prevented the drill program from being completed, resulting in priority targets remaining untested. Newmont did complete geological mapping and prospecting during the 2006 season uncovering new surface gold showings yielding assays up to 10.56 g/t Au (see Kaminak news release dated August 25th, 2006). Kaminak's technical staff visited the Matrix Property in July of 2006 and the Company is currently seeking a new joint venture partner and determining an appropriate work program for 2007.

      Project Advancement 2006

Kaminak successfully advanced several 100% owned projects to the drill-ready stage during 2006 and is actively seeking joint venture partners for these projects. In the spring of 2006, Kaminak completed detailed airborne geophysical surveys over the Company's Needle Gold Project and Sy Gold Project, both located in Nunavut. Data from these new geophysical surveys has helped refine existing gold zones as well as generate new drill targets across both properties.

      2007 Exploration Strategy

Kaminak is a project generator and follows the joint venture business model. The Company's in-house technical staff is focused on generating and acquiring new exploration opportunities across Canada. The joint venture business model provides the shareholder with multiple opportunities for discovery while preserving capital. In addition to the joint ventures discussed above, Kaminak has a diverse portfolio of 100% owned gold and base metal properties for which the Company is actively seeking new joint venture partners.

Kaminak's 2007 in-house exploration budget is approximately CDN $1 million. These funds will be allocated to new project generation initiatives. The objective is to acquire mineral properties with the potential to host economic deposits of marketable commodities and ultimately seek new joint venture partners to advance these properties. Shareholders will be kept abreast of new acquisitions and opportunities as they arise.

Kaminak's disclosure of a technical or scientific nature are prepared under the supervision of Rob Carpenter, Ph. D., P. Geo., Kaminak's President and CEO, who serves as the Qualified Person under the definition of National Instrument 43-101.

same John Brock as WNP Western Prospectot (I believe). A tremendous success story ...... I also believe it was followed by many newletter writers including Doug Casey at some point.

John Brock has a large following in the industry & Western Prospector has a large institutional base.

PEX will be on the radar screens of all those people.

with kam and pex both approaching their 52 week highs and volume picking up on upticks it is safe to assume the next leg up will commence soon.

i hope that we will have a nice gradual uptick as i have accumulated many many shares across all my accounts and want a supported appreciated stock price and not a meteroic rise and fall...

i really feel we will be mid .50 to .60 before our next drill phase which if positive will double that price...

thats the kind of returns that make penny stocks king..

first thing first.. 52 week high coming soon with a flow through financing in the high 40 range..

Laurence Raulston of Resource Opportunities highlighted PEX last week and will be covering the company in his news letter going forward. I have looked into what this company has to offer shareholders and I think it has a lot of upside potential.

I look forward to reading intelligent comments on this board in the future.

Pacific Ridge hires Value Relations for euro relations

      2007-04-04 12:43 ET - News Release

      Mr. John Brock reports

PACIFIC RIDGE ENTERS INTO INVESTOR RELATIONS AGREEMENT WITH EUROPEAN-BASED VALUE RELATIONS

Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. has entered into an investor relations agreement with Frankfurt-based Value Relations GmbH. VR, a full-service investor relations firm, was founded in 1999 and is headed by Christoph Bruning. VR will translate and disseminate the company's news releases and act as the company's investor relations consultant in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In addition, VR will introduce the company to European private investors, brokers and institutional investors, as well as co-ordinate and organize European corporate presentations.

Under the terms of the agreement, the company will pay VR a monthly fee of 3,000 euros for a six-month term. Pursuant to the agreement, the company proposes to grant incentive stock options to VR, allowing for the purchase of up to 200,000 shares in the capital of the company for a period of two years, priced in accordance with the market. The agreement is subject to regulatory approval.

......na endlich haben die bei PEX erkannt,
wie man PEX stärker in den focus von inv.
      rücken kann !!!

will mal hoffen, daß die leute von VR das auch
so sehen und entsprechende strategien starten

Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd.: 2007 Baker Basin Uranium Project Program Ready to Go
Tuesday May 8, 8:55 am ET

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - May 8, 2007) - Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. ("Pacific") (TSX VENTURE:PEX - News), operator of the Baker Basin Uranium Project, and project partner Kaminak Gold Corporation ("Kaminak") have completed all prepatory work for commencement of the Baker Basin Uranium Project exploration program.

Pacific plans an aggressive $3 million 2007 drilling program with follow-up drilling of two uranium zones that yielded encouraging uranium assays from seven holes drilled in late 2006. Diamond drilling will also be directed to two new uranium discoveries made last year by Pacific's exploration crew. Helicopter and diamond drilling contracts have been arranged, and required permitting is in hand for commencement of drilling within the next month.

The Baker Basin Uranium Project is located about 50 kilometres south of the town of Baker Lake in southern Nunavut. The project covers an area of 500,000 acres over an approximate 60 kilometre length of the southern boundary of the Baker Lake basin, where over 20 uranium prospects have been discovered. Baker Lake basin is one of four Canadian proterozoic basins that are attractive depositional environments for large uranium deposits.

Highlights of the 2006 Baker Basin Uranium Project program include:

      - Fourteen holes drilled in three zones

      - Seven of the fourteen holes (50%) intersected attractive uranium grades

      - Two of the three zones, each traced over one kilometer in length, host structurally controlled perched uranium mineralization in basinal sandstone. Continued drilling to depth is a priority

      - At the Lucky-7 Zone, a new discovery, two of three holes intersected uranium values to 0.32% U3O8 over 3.4 metres

      - At the KZ Zone, four of six holes intersected uranium values to 0.31% U3O8 over 11.5 metres

      - New discoveries, including 7-one and Niner zones, consist of surface exposed uranium mineralization in boulders grading to 1.83% U3O8

      - Stratigraphic mapping suggests the more porous conglomerate at the base of the sandstone would be a more favourable host for uranium mineralization, an unconformity target that lies below the 2006 drilling

      - Exploration targets defined by the 2006 program are of sufficient extent that, with drill intersected uranium mineralization, size potential is suggested

      2007 Program

Pacific plans a $3 million exploration program at the Baker Basin Uranium Project. A 3,000 metre Phase I drilling program is scheduled to start on June 1, 2007. Drilling will be initiated on the Lucky-7 and KZ Zones with five deep holes on each zone to test for "structurally controlled unconformity-style" uranium mineralization. Upon completion of geophysical surveys, initial drilling of the 7-one and Niner zones will follow.

Pacific's disclosure of a technical or scientific nature has been reviewed by Wayne Roberts, P.Geo, Vice-President Exploration of Pacific, a Qualified Person under the definition of National Instrument 43-101.

Significant Exploration and Development in the Baker Lake Region

The Baker Basin Uranium Project, located within the Baker Lake basin, is immediately adjacent to the Thelon basin, where Areva Resources Canada Ltd.

      Pacific and Kaminak

Under the terms of the option agreement, Pacific has the right to earn an initial 51% interest by December 31, 2008 by making exploration expenditures totaling $2.0 million and staged payments totaling 400,000 Units, with each Unit consisting of one common share and one 12-month share purchase warrant with an exercise price set in accordance with market at the time of issuance of the Unit. Pacific has the right to increase its interest to 60% by spending an additional $1.0 million prior to December 31, 2010. Thereafter, Pacific and Kaminak will form a joint venture in accordance with their interests then held. Underlying interests are held by Hunter Exploration Group as to a 2% Net Smelter Return interest, and by Shear Minerals Ltd./Stornoway Diamond Corporation who collectively hold a 5.0% Net Profits Interest. The option agreement with Pacific pertains to all commodities other than diamonds.

Information Concerning Estimates of Mineral Resources

This news release uses the terms "inferred resources", "indicated resources", "mineral resources" and "resources". Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. (the "Company") advises investors that although these terms are recognized and required by Canadian securities regulations (under National Instrument 43-101 "Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects"), the US Securities and Exchange Commission does not recognize these terms. Investors are cautioned not to assume that any part or all of the mineral deposits in these categories will ever be converted into reserves. In addition, "inferred resources" have a great amount of uncertainty as to their existence, and economic and legal feasibility. It cannot be assumed that all or any part of an Inferred Mineral Resource will ever be upgraded to a higher category. Under Canadian rules, estimates of Inferred Mineral Resources may not form the basis of feasibility or pre-feasibility studies, or economic studies except for a Preliminary Assessment as defined under NI 43-101. Investors are cautioned not to assume that part or all of an inferred resource exists, or is economically or legally mineable.

Pacific Ridge arranges $4.2-million private placement

      2007-05-31 19:43 ET - News Release

      Mr. John Brock reports

PACIFIC RIDGE EXPLORATION LTD.: PROPOSED $4.2 MILLION BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. has entered into an agreement with Dundee Securities Corp. and Haywood Securities Inc. for the private placement, on a commercially reasonable efforts agency basis, of up to six million flow-through common shares at a price of 35 cents per flow-through share for maximum total gross proceeds of $2.1-million and up to seven million units at a price of 30 cents per unit for maximum total gross proceeds of $2.1-million.
Each unit will consist of one common share of the company and one-half of one transferable common share purchase warrant of the company. Each warrant will entitle the holder thereof to purchase one common share of the company for a period of 18 months after the closing date of the offering at an exercise price of 40 cents. In the event that the common shares of the company trade on the TSX Venture Exchange at a closing price greater than 68 cents er common share for a period of 20 consecutive trading days at any time after four months and one day after the closing date of the offering, the company may accelerate the expiry date of the warrants by giving notice to the holders thereof and in such case the warrants will expire on the 30th day after the date on which such notice is given by the company.

The closing of the offering is expected to occur on or about June 20, 2007. The agents will receive a cash commission equal to 6.5 per cent of the gross proceeds raised in the offering. In addition, the company has agreed to issue to the agents on closing broker warrants exercisable for common shares of the company equal in number to 6.5 per cent of the number of flow-through shares and units sold under the offering. The broker warrants will be exercisable at a price of 35 cents per common share for a period of 18 months after the date of the closing of the offering. The private placement is subject to regulatory approval, and all securities issued will be subject to a mandatory four-month hold period from the date of closing.

The company will use the gross proceeds from the sale of the flow-through shares for Canadian exploration expenses (within the meaning of the Income Tax Act (Canada)), with the company using its best efforts to ensure that such Canadian exploration expenses qualify as a flow-through mining expenditure for purposes of the Income Tax Act (Canada), related to the exploration of the company's Baker basin uranium project located in Nunavut, Canada. The company expects to renounce such Canadian exploration expenses with an effective date of Dec. 31, 2007. The net proceeds from sale of the units will be used for general working capital purposes and development of the company's property portfolio.

The company plans a $3-million drilling program during 2007 with immediate follow-up drilling of two zones that yielded encouraging uranium assays from the seven holes drilled in late 2006. Diamond drilling will also be directed to two new uranium discoveries made last year by the company's exploration crew. Exploration is in progress with crew and diamond drilling equipment now being mobilized to the project site.

The Baker basin uranium project is located about 50 kilometres south of the town of Baker Lake in southern Nunavut. The project covers an area of 500,000 acres over an approximate 60-kilometre length of the southern boundary of the Baker Lake basin, where over 20 uranium prospects have been discovered. Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd.: Drill Turning at Baker Basin Uranium Project
      6/7/2007
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Jun 7, 2007 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX News Network) --

Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. ("Pacific") (TSX VENTURE:PEX), operator of the Baker Basin Uranium Project in Nunavut has completed all prepatory work, mobilized all equipment and is now collaring the first drill hole of the 2007 season. Pacific and project partner Kaminak Gold Corporation ("Kaminak") plan a $3 million exploration program at the Baker Basin Uranium Project in 2007. A 3,000 metre Phase 1 drilling program has now been initiated. Five deep holes are planned on each of the Lucky-7 and KZ Zones to test for "structurally controlled unconformity-style" uranium mineralization. Upon completion of geophysical surveys, initial drilling of two additional new discoveries, the 7-one and Niner zones, will follow.

Initial drill testing in 2007 will focus to the Lucky-7 Zone, a prospecting discovery made during 2006, where Pacific intersected near surface structurally controlled uranium mineralization grading to 0.32% U3O8 over 3.4 metres. Drill holes at the Lucky-7 Zone are being collared to intersect the mineralized structure at depth near the basin unconformity.

The Lucky-7 Zone hosts uranium mineralization within altered and bleached Kazan sandstone associated with a northerly-trending structure. The Kazan sandstone is the major unit comprising the Baker basin in-filling sediment that rests on a conglomerate at the basin floor. Pacific completed a radiometric survey over an area measuring approximately 2 kilometres by 2 kilometres that has defined a northerly-trending radiometric anomaly measuring 500 metres in length and 100 to 200 metres in width contoured with peak values to 240 cps. The surface exposure of the Lucky-7 Zone was chip sampled across its width and yielded 0.27% U3O8 over 3.9 metres. A saw cut channel several metres away yielded 0.19% U3O8 over 3.1 metres. The average grade of 23 mineralized frost-heaved boulders assayed to 0.32% U3O8. Three angled drill holes were completed from a single set-up during 2006. The first two holes returned intercepts of 0.14% U3O8 over 1.6 metres and 0.32% U3O8 over 3.4 metres. The third hole was the deepest hole at Lucky-7; however, worsening drill conditions at depth forced this hole to be shut down before the target was reached. No significant uranium assays were obtained despite strong alteration at the bottom of the hole.

      Pacific and Kaminak

Under the terms of the option agreement, Pacific has the right to earn an initial 51% interest by December 31, 2008 by making specified exploration expenditures and staged unit payments to Kaminak. Pacific has the right to increase its interest to 60% by making additional specified exploration expenditures prior to December 31, 2010. Thereafter, Pacific and Kaminak will form a joint venture in accordance with their interest then held. Underlying interests are held by Hunter Exploration Group, and Shear Minerals Ltd./Stornoway Diamond Corporation. The option agreement with Pacific pertains to all commodities other than diamonds.

Pacific's disclosure of a technical or scientific nature has been reviewed by Wayne J. Roberts, P.Geo, Vice-President Exploration for Pacific, a Qualified Person under the definition of National Instrument 43-101.

Pacific Ridge Granted Option to Earn Up to 100% in Baker Uranium Project
Monday October 1, 10:15 am ET
      :eek::eek::)

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 1, 2007) - Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:PEX - News; "Pacific Ridge") and Kaminak Gold Corporation ("Kaminak") executed an Option, Back-In and Joint Venture Agreement (the "Agreement") dated September 28, 2007, whereby Kaminak has granted Pacific Ridge the option to increase its interest from 60% to a 100% interest in the Baker Uranium Project.

Under the terms of the Agreement, Pacific Ridge has the option to increase its interest to a 100% interest by making an initial 2.0 million share payment to Kaminak and a second 2.0 million share payment upon completion and submission to Kaminak of a positive feasibility study. Kaminak will then have the right to back-in to a 20% working interest and become a joint venture partner, by paying Pacific Ridge an amount equal to 40% of the expenditures incurred by Pacific Ridge during the period between signing the Agreement and the date Kaminak receives the positive feasibility study.

Should Kaminak elect not to exercise its back-in right, Pacific Ridge will retain its 100% interest in the Baker Uranium project.

This agreement pertains to all commodities except diamonds, and is subject to TSX-Venture exchange approval. Underlying interests are held by Hunter Exploration Group as to a 2% net smelter return interest, as well as Shear Minerals/Stornoway Diamond Corporation, who collectively hold a 8.5 % net profits interest.

The Baker Uranium project is located approximately 50 kilometres south from the town of Baker Lake, Nunavut. The Baker Basin is one of several sedimentary basins in central northern Canada that host significant uranium mineralization. Pacific Ridge is currently drill-testing strike and depth continuity of structurally hosted uranium mineralization in both the Lucky-7 and KZ Zones within the Baker Basin Project.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Oct 02, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. ("Pacific Ridge") (TSX VENTURE: PEX) is pleased to report uranium assays from two recently completed diamond drill holes testing depth and strike continuity at the Lucky-7 Zone with values reaching 0.30% U3O8 over 17.3 metres.

      Lucky-7 Zone

The Lucky-7 Zone is one of 8 significant uranium occurrences located within Pacific Ridge's Baker Basin Project, 40 kilometres south of the community of Baker Lake, Nunavut.

Uranium assays for Lucky-7 drill holes L7-07-07 and L7-07-08 are tabled below:

      LUCKY-7 ZONE

      East 149.8-150.8 1.0 0.33 6.6
      (i) True widths are estimated at between 50% and 70% of drill intercepts

Uranium mineralization at Lucky-7 Zone is associated with fracturing and clay alteration of the Baker Basin Kazan sandstone within a northerly trending sub-vertical structural corridor emplaced with a mafic dyke. Mineralization occurs on both the east and west contacts of the dyke. To date, thicker sections of the dyke appear to be associated with thicker zones of uranium mineralization.

The Lucky-7 Zone, now drilled to a depth of 500 metres, has been traced radiometrically for a 500 metre strike length. The average intercept of uranium mineralization based on 7 holes drilled to date is approximately 7.5 metres grading 0.22% U3O8.

Drilling continues, with additional holes now collared to the south of hole L7-07-08 on section 8100N.

      KZ Zone

At the KZ Zone, located 10 kilometres west of the Lucky-7, assays are pending for two recently completed drill holes. Pacific Ridge's 2006 drilling program at KZ intersected 0.31% U3O8 over 11.2 metres, 0.40% over 5.2 metres and 0.27% over 5.8 metres.

      2007 Fall Program

Drilling will continue at the Lucky-7 Zone until onset of winter conditions. Results to date are meeting expectations and are sufficient to warrant an expanded drilling program in 2008.

      Sample Handling

All samples collected at the Baker Basin Uranium Project are sealed in sample bags at site and forwarded in secure containers to Activation Laboratories in Ancaster, Ontario for uranium analysis. Samples are initially analyzed by a DNC technique utilizing a reactor. High values in excess of 0.5% U3O8 are then re-analyzed by SRF and titration methods. Pacific Ridge employs a QC/QA program that includes random insertion of internal duplicates and blanks into the sample stream as well as check assays by an external laboratory.

Pacific Ridge's disclosure of a technical or scientific nature has been reviewed by Wayne J. Roberts, P.Geo., Vice-President, Exploration of Pacific Ridge and a Qualified Person under the definition of National Instrument 43-101.

      Pacific and Kaminak

Under the terms of an agreement dated September 28, 2007, Pacific Ridge has the option to increase its interest from a 60% to a 100% interest by issuing an initial 2.0 million shares to Kaminak and a further 2.0 million shares upon completion and submission to Kaminak of a positive feasibility study. Uranium mineralization at the Lucky-7 Zone is associated with fracturing and clay alteration of the Baker Basin Kazan sandstone within a northerly trending structural corridor emplaced with a mafic dyke. Uranium mineralization occurs as two sub-parallel sub-vertical zones located along both the east and west contacts of the dyke. To date, thicker sections of the dyke appear to be associated with thicker zones of uranium mineralization. Uranium mineralization has now been drill-defined from surface to a depth of approximately 500 metres. Drilling to date has been collared on 3 sections (8100N, 8150N and 8200N) over a zone length of 100 metres. The Lucky-7 Zone has been defined on surface by radiometric surveys and frost heaved blocks of uranium mineralization over a length of 500 metres.

      KZ ZONE

The KZ Zone, located approximately 10 kilometres west of the Lucky-7 Zone saw two drill holes this year that tested for depth continuity of uranium mineralization. The following summary tables of drill hole results include the two 2007 holes and previously announced 2006 drill holes.

intervals, with the exception of holes 06-05 and 06-06 which were
      drilled at a steeper angle.

The KZ Zone is similar to the Lucky-7 Zone in that uranium mineralization is associated with altered Kazan sandstone within a sub-vertical structure also emplaced with a mafic dyke. Pacific Ridge drilling has defined vertical continuity of uranium mineralization from surface to a depth of approximately 400 metres. Surface radiometric surveys by Pacific Ridge along with shallow drilling by prior workers have defined an approximate target length of 500 metres for the KZ Zone. Drill hole assays received to date suggest the best uranium grades occur between depths of 50 to 200 metres. Continued drill testing along the length of the zone is warranted.

      2007 PROGRAM

The 2007 drilling program is now completed with encouraging uranium assays intersected in the Lucky-7 and KZ Zones. Both zones warrant an expanded sectional drilling program in 2008 to provide the data base for resource estimates.

      BAKER BASIN PROJECT

The Baker Lake basin, although smaller in aerial extent than the neighboring Thelon and Athabasca basins, is now being recognized as having potential for hosting structurally controlled uranium prospects. The project is 50 kilometres south of the community of Baker Lake, Nunavut.

      AGREEMENTS

In an amended agreement announced on October 1, 2007, Pacific Ridge has been granted an option to earn a 100% interest in the Baker Basin project subject to a 20 percent back-in right to Kaminak Gold Corporation at completion of a positive feasibility study. The agreement pertains to all commodities except diamonds. Underlying interests are held by Hunter Exploration Group as to a 2% net smelter return interest, as well as Shear Minerals/Stornoway Diamond Corporation, who collectively hold an 8.5% net profits interest.

      Forward-Looking Information

This release includes certain statements that may be deemed "forward-looking statements". All statements in this release, other than statements of historical facts, that address exploration drilling, exploitation activities and events or developments that Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. ("Pacific Ridge") expects to occur, are forward-looking statements. Such statements may be identified in this release by the use of words such as "will" and "expects" and "may" as well as the use of the future or conditional tense. Although Pacific Ridge believes the expectations expressed in such forward-looking statements are based on reasonable assumptions, such statements are not guarantees of future performance and actual results or developments may differ materially from those in the forward-looking statements. Factors that could cause actual results to differ materially from those in forward looking statements include market prices, exploitation and exploration successes, and continued availability of capital and financing and general economic, market or business conditions. Investors are cautioned that any such statements are not guarantees of future performance and actual results or developments may differ materially from those projected in the forward-looking statements. Pacific Ridge does not assume any obligation to update or revise its forward-looking statements, whether as a result of new information, future events or otherwise.

The TSX Venture Exchange has not reviewed and does not accept responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.
