BULK SAMPLING INTERSECT ADDITIONAL SIGNIFICANT GOLD GRADES
Eaglecrest Explorations Ltd. (EEL-TSX.VENTURE & EAT.FSE FRANKFURT) is pleased to report that its
underground development and bulk sampling program has intersected a section of the main quartz vein structure
(MQV) returning an average gold grade of 4.1 grams per tonne (g/t) over 26.4 metres (m). The referenced
mineralization was intersected in a raise from the TD-1 decline adit in the Trinidad area in the Doña Amelia zone.
The Company decide to develop the raise in the MQV to further investigate the extent of the higher grade gold
mineralization intersected in the TD-1 decline adit in November 2005 (5.3 g/t over 8.9 m as reported in the
Company’s November 22, 2005 news release). The raise was developed horizontally from the lower end of the
higher grade intersection in the decline adit for 2.7 m and than oblique to the MQV up dip in a northeast direction
(N030E) for 23.7 m at an average angle of plus 29 degrees adjacent to the footwall contact of the MQV. Both the ribs
and the faces of each advance are mapped and paneled sampled with 1 to 3 panel samples from each face and 1-to
3 panel samples from each rib on each side of the face for every advance. The raise was developed almost entirely
within the MQV (0.0 to 7.0% sedimentary rock dilution averaging less than 3%) and the reported calculated grades
are not adjusted for any dilution.
The individual raise advances were trucked to the gold recovery plant in the Manganeso area, and a sample of the
MQV material collected prior to crushing. The advances were processed individually in the crushing circuit where the
jaw and cone crusher reduces the MQV material to less than ¼ inch before it is sampled again. Additional samples
are collected in the milling circuits at the ball mill feed conveyor, cyclone (both over and underflow), flotation cell
concentrate and tailings discharge point.
Due to the size of the raise (dimension of 2.0 by 2.0 m) the individual advances are generally small, (average of 17.5
tonnes per advance). For bulk sampling and metallurgical balance with back calculated feed grade purposes, the
advances were combined in lots of 3 3 in most cases. The overall supervision and metallurgical balance calculations
are done by Mineral Processing Engineer Gary Hawthorn, P.Eng. (B.C.) who is the Independent Qualified Person for
the gold recovery plant. The average panel samples, back-calculated bulk sample feed MQV grade for each raise
bulk sample are listed in the table below.

The raise was completed on January 31, 2006 and the contractor is now continuing developing the main TD-1 decline
adit toward the drill hole targets.
The Doña Amelia zone covers an area of 40 square kilometers (km) within the Company’s approximately 300 square
km San Simon project in northeast Bolivia.
SAMPLE HANDLING AND PREPARATION
A summary of sample preparation and method of gold analysis is herewith presented. The face, muck and plant
samples are placed in individual double, heavy-duty (200 g) plastic sample bags. The sample tag (a unique six-digit
sample number) assigned to the sample is included in the bag and both bags are individually sealed with plastic cinch
straps.
The samples are delivered daily direct to the on-site independent laboratory adjacent to The Company’s camp, which
is located 8 kilometers from the TD-1 portal and 14 kilometres from the gold recovery plant, The laboratory is
independently operated by Peruvian Analab S.R.L. (Analab) under the overall supervision Mr. Hawthorn
Analab S.R.L. has prepared 4 standards of varying grades using samples from the Trinidad MQV, for insertion by the
on-site geological staff at the rate of 5 standards per 100 samples. The reported assays results from these standards
are recorded daily in a summary file, and are reviewed weekly by Mr. Hawthorn. Results have been satisfactory to
date.
For additional Quality Control, Analab S.R.L. analyzes and report results on two Internationally recognized generic
standards (GS-1 and GS-5) supplied by CDN Resource Ltd of Vancouver. This is generally done at the rate of 1 per
assay report, most assay reports being limited to 20 samples.
All submitted samples are initially crushed to a nominal minus 6 mesh (3.35 millimetres), split using a standard Jones
riffle splitter to a nominal 250 grams sample and pulverized to a nominal minus 150 mesh (0.1 millimetres). From this
material 30 grams is submitted for standard gold Fire Assay with gravimetric finishing.
All samples that initially report grades of more than 2 g/t Au, are assayed a second time using a new pulp sample.
Three sampling trees have also been performed to compare standard fire assaying with various sample sizes by
metallic screen fire assaying, determining that in almost all cases, initial assays can be effectively reported using a 30
grams fire assay.
Fifty three sample pulps from the Analab laboratory have been duplicate assayed by ALS-Chemex reporting
satisfactory agreement between the Analab and ALS-Chemex results.

The Analab site is gated and the stored sample pulps and rejects are stored in locked cargo containers within this
compound. Access is limited to Analab staff and the three Qualified Persons (Bruland, Allen, and Hawthorn). In the
context of the underground bulk sampling program, the individual rounds are sampled as they progress through the
system, so that each is sampled at 5 stages.
The underground exploration development and bulk sampling program is being supervised by Tor Bruland, P. Geo.
and Don Allen, P. Eng. while the gold recovery plant and on-site independent laboratory is supervised by Gary
Hawthorn. P. Eng, all of whom are Qualified Persons under the Canadian National Instrument 43-101 Standards of
Disclosure for Mineral Projects.

Eaglecrest Explorations Ltd. has retained SRK Consulting (Canada) Ltd. to prepare a preliminary assessment study on the Dona Amelia zone gold mineralization that will include a CIM-compliant resource estimation and classification. In addition, SRK is to define mining and metallurgical options, define a range for capital and operating cost models, and calculate pretax and preroyalties discounted cash flows, internal rate of return, and net present value. The study will be presented as a National Instrument 43-101 compliant document. It is estimated that the study will be completed by September, 2006.
The Dona Amelia zone covers an area of 40 square kilometres within the company's approximately 300-square-kilometre San Simon project in northeast Bolivia. The company has completed more than 39,000 metres of diamond drilling in 180 holes in the Trinidad, Las Rosas and Manganesa areas, covering 2.7 kilometres of the 4.2-kilometre strike length of the main structure/quartz vein (MQV) of the Dona Amelia zone.
The MQV has been traced down dip for up to 740 metres, with widths up to 15.9 metres. Testwork to date of the gold mineralization indicates it is erratic and inhomogeneous on a diamond-drill-hole and underground-development-muck scale. Diamond drilling is effective in demonstrating the geological continuity of the MQV, but bulk sampling is needed to determine the true in situ gold grade. A 16,000-tonne underground bulk sampling program was commenced in 2005 with the development of the TD-1 decline in the Trinidad area down plunge of the MQV.
The TD-1 decline targets are four diamond drill hole MQV intersections to be reached by a combination of declines and drifts. Data collected from the bulk sampling will allow for a more robust geostatistical evaluation of the gold-grade continuity for input to the upcoming resource estimate. To date, the TD-1 decline has reached a length of 140 metres, which is about 25 metres from the collar of the drift to the TRD03-026 diamond drill hole target.

Eaglecrest Explorations Ltd., a Canadian based Exploration company searching for gold in northeast Bolivia, was up another 7.89% Wednesday morning, with 435,750 shares having traded hands come 1150am ET.
Stock markets suffered Wednesday morning, after investors sought safer alternatives following a wave of fear that shook many investors following unauthorized missile tests by North Korea July 4th and the morning of the 5th.
Toronto's S&P/TSX composite index was down 72.24 points to 11,660.95 in early trading. This, after it had risen 120 points the day prior on strong base and precious metal prices, as well as a strong performance from the technology sector.
The TSX Venture Exchange on the other hand, inched ahead 1.5 points to 2,666.12 after a 29-point advance Tuesday.
The Canadian dollar was also off 0.04 cent to 90.31 cents US.
Oil prices were little changed after a significant incline late last week. However, the TSX energy sector dropped 0.6%.
Although many stocks suffered, the TSX gold sector was an exception to the rule, jumping 1.1% higher.
Excitement has also been generated recently, as many analysts feel investor focus has shifted to what is hoped to be another winning quarter for corporate earnings.

The TSX Venture Exchange on the other hand, inched ahead 1.5 points to 2,666.12 after a 29-point advance Tuesday.
The Canadian dollar was also off 0.04 cent to 90.31 cents US.
Oil prices were little changed after a significant incline late last week. However, the TSX energy sector dropped 0.6%.
Although many stocks suffered, the TSX gold sector was an exception to the rule, jumping 1.1% higher.

Underground Development
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 5, 2006) - Eaglecrest
Explorations Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:EEL)(FWB:EAT) is pleased to report that its
underground development and bulk sampling program has intersected a high grade
gold section of the main structure/quartz vein (MQV), in the L484-W drift west
from the TD-1 decline in the Trinidad area in the Dona Amelia zone, with a
fully undiluted weighted average gold grade of 11.1 grams per tonne (g/t) over
4.8 metres (m).
The L484-W drift was collared at an elevation of 484 m above sea level and 71
m below the TD-1 decline portal level in May this year, and was developed to
the west to intersect 6 diamond drill holes for comparison of bulk sample
grades and diamond drill hole grades. After 84.4 m the MQV split in a relay
fault splay in the Hangingwall (HW), extending for 25.6 m in the L484-LR drift
before the splay pinched out. In the L484-W drift the MQV has to date been
traced for 132.0 m along strike, including a 20 m section where the quartz
vein in the structure pinched out and development is continuing to the west.
The L484-W and L484-LR drifts were developed concurrently with the development
of the TD-1 decline until mid July, when the advance of the TD-1 decline was
temporarily suspended due to greater priority of advancing the L484-W and
L463-E drifts. The L463-E drift that is being developed to the east from the
TD-1 decline at an elevation of 463 m above sea level and 92 m below the TD-1
portal level was collared in mid July.
During the development of the L484-W drift, a new type of gold mineralization
was encountered in the Footwall (FW) of the MQV, with up to 1 millimeters (mm)
gold grains in the litharenite adjacent to hairline quartz veins of 1 to 3 mm.
The FW gold mineralization extends for more than 37.0 m, from 95.0 m to the
present face of development at 132.0 m, with drift rib FW panel samples of up
to 7.3 g/t (10 kilogram sample).
The individual drift advances were trucked to the gold recovery plant in the
Manganeso area, and a sample of the MQV material was collected prior to
crushing. The advances were processed individually in the crushing circuit,
where the jaw and cone crusher reduces the MQV material to less than 1/2 inch
before it is sampled again. Additional samples are collected in the milling
circuits at the ball mill feed conveyor, cyclone (both over and underflow),
flotation cell concentrate and tailings discharge point.
Initially the advances were combined in lots of 2, and in one case 3, due to
the size and homogeneity of mineralization between advances. However, due to
the FW mineralization in the western part of the L484-W drift, most advances
were milled individually. Mineral Processing Engineer Gary Hawthorn, P.Eng.
(B.C.), who is an Independent Consultant and Qualified Person for the gold
recovery plant, provides the overall supervision and metallurgical balance
calculations.

diamond drill holes have been collared in L484-W (TRD05-138) and L484-LR
(TRD04-096). L463-E drift, which is being developed to intersect up to 11
diamond drill holes, has reached a length of 36.5 m and is approximately 18 m
short of the first diamond drill hole intercept. Development of L463-E drift
continues concurrently with the L484-W drift and L484-W and L484-LR raises.
The Dona Amelia zone covers an area of 40 square kilometers (km) within the
Company's approximately 300 square km San Simon project in northeast Bolivia.

Initially the advances were combined in lots of 2, and in one case 3, due to
the size and homogeneity of mineralization between advances. However, due to
the FW mineralization in the western part of the L484-W drift, most advances
were milled individually. Mineral Processing Engineer Gary Hawthorn, P.Eng.
(B.C.), who is an Independent Consultant and Qualified Person for the gold
recovery plant, provides the overall supervision and metallurgical balance
calculations.

The development of the L484-W drift is continuing, and two raises to intersect
diamond drill holes have been collared in L484-W (TRD05-138) and L484-LR
(TRD04-096). L463-E drift, which is being developed to intersect up to 11
diamond drill holes, has reached a length of 36.5 m and is approximately 18 m
short of the first diamond drill hole intercept. Development of L463-E drift
continues concurrently with the L484-W drift and L484-W and L484-LR raises.
The Dona Amelia zone covers an area of 40 square kilometers (km) within the
Company's approximately 300 square km San Simon project in northeast Bolivia.

Eaglecrest Explorations Ltd. ("Eaglecrest") (TSX VENTURE:EEL)(FWB:EAT) is pleased to report that it has encountered high grade gold mineralization in the L463-E drift in the Trinidad area of the Dona Amelia zone. These new results are part of Eaglecrest's continuing program of underground development and bulk sampling at the San Simon project, Bolivia.
Bulk sampling of the L463-E drift (the "east drift") along strike of the main structure/quartz vein (MQV) returned gold grades(i) of 5.6 grams per tonne gold over 33.5 metres, with a MQV width of 1.0 metre to more than 3.0 metres. Bulk sampling of a decline in the east drift returned gold grades(i) of 6.7 grams/tonne gold over 8.9 metres. The first bulk sample from the newly started raise in the east drift returned 9.6 grams/tonne gold over 1.8 metres.
Footwall gold mineralization has been encountered along the 33.5 metres of the east drift with panel samples(ii) returning gold grades up to 15 grams/tonne gold. This gold mineralization is similar to footwall mineralization in the L484-W drift described in Eaglecrest's news releases on September 5, 2006 and November 24, 2006.
"The bulk sampling results from the east drift of the Trinidad area are very promising. Individual bulk samples returning more than 10 grams/tonne gold are suggesting that higher grade gold zones could exist within the Dona Amelia zone," comments Eaglecrest's Chief Operating Officer Hans Rasmussen. "Footwall and Hanging Wall mineralization appears more consistent than previously interpreted from diamond drill holes. Most importantly, these mineralization types could add significant tonnage and contained gold to the upcoming resource calculation, as well as reduce dilution and mining costs."

Geological details:
Distribution of gold in the MQV appears to be erratic and inhomogeneous with panel samples(ii) ranging from less than 0.3 up to 120 grams/tonne gold. This gold distribution in the MQV suggests that erratic Hanging Wall mineralization, which returned panel samples(ii) up to 3.2 grams/tonne gold, could have a similar continuity as the Footwall mineralization. The Footwall mineralization in the east drift has so far been traced 33.5 metres along the strike of the MQV as well as 8.9 metres down dip and 1.8 metres up dip.
(ii) 10 kilograms samples taken from each underground advance
The east drift is being developed along strike of the MQV to intersect up to 10 diamond drill holes. Decline D206 was developed toward diamond drill hole TRD06-206 while raise R64 is being developed towards diamond drill hole TRD04-064. Additional declines and raises are planned as the east drift is extended to the east towards diamond drill hole TRD03-26, which returned 8.6 grams/tonne gold from MQV mineralization over 4.2 metres true thickness.
The underground bulk sampling program is designed to test the drill intersected portions of the MQV as part of Eaglecrest's attempt to achieve an accurate in-situ average gold grade and resource estimate for the Dona Amelia zone. The development of raises and declines of the east drift is continuing as well as extending the drift which now has a length of 104.5 metres to the east. Eaglecrest Explorations Ltd. ("Eaglecrest") (TSX VENTURE:EEL)(FWB:EAT) is pleased to report that it has encountered high grade gold mineralization in the L463-E drift in the Trinidad area of the Dona Amelia zone. These new results are part of Eaglecrest's continuing program of underground development and bulk sampling at the San Simon project, Bolivia.
Bulk sampling of the L463-E drift (the "east drift") along strike of the main structure/quartz vein (MQV) returned gold grades(i) of 5.6 grams per tonne gold over 33.5 metres, with a MQV width of 1.0 metre to more than 3.0 metres. Bulk sampling of a decline in the east drift returned gold grades(i) of 6.7 grams/tonne gold over 8.9 metres. The first bulk sample from the newly started raise in the east drift returned 9.6 grams/tonne gold over 1.8 metres.
Footwall gold mineralization has been encountered along the 33.5 metres of the east drift with panel samples(ii) returning gold grades up to 15 grams/tonne gold. This gold mineralization is similar to footwall mineralization in the L484-W drift described in Eaglecrest's news releases on September 5, 2006 and November 24, 2006.
"The bulk sampling results from the east drift of the Trinidad area are very promising. Individual bulk samples returning more than 10 grams/tonne gold are suggesting that higher grade gold zones could exist within the Dona Amelia zone," comments Eaglecrest's Chief Operating Officer Hans Rasmussen. "Footwall and Hanging Wall mineralization appears more consistent than previously interpreted from diamond drill holes. Most importantly, these mineralization types could add significant tonnage and contained gold to the upcoming resource calculation, as well as reduce dilution and mining costs."

Geological details:
Distribution of gold in the MQV appears to be erratic and inhomogeneous with panel samples(ii) ranging from less than 0.3 up to 120 grams/tonne gold. This gold distribution in the MQV suggests that erratic Hanging Wall mineralization, which returned panel samples(ii) up to 3.2 grams/tonne gold, could have a similar continuity as the Footwall mineralization. The Footwall mineralization in the east drift has so far been traced 33.5 metres along the strike of the MQV as well as 8.9 metres down dip and 1.8 metres up dip.
(ii) 10 kilograms samples taken from each underground advance
The east drift is being developed along strike of the MQV to intersect up to 10 diamond drill holes. Decline D206 was developed toward diamond drill hole TRD06-206 while raise R64 is being developed towards diamond drill hole TRD04-064. Additional declines and raises are planned as the east drift is extended to the east towards diamond drill hole TRD03-26, which returned 8.6 grams/tonne gold from MQV mineralization over 4.2 metres true thickness.
The underground bulk sampling program is designed to test the drill intersected portions of the MQV as part of Eaglecrest's attempt to achieve an accurate in-situ average gold grade and resource estimate for the Dona Amelia zone. The development of raises and declines of the east drift is continuing as well as extending the drift which now has a length of 104.5 metres to the east. EEL) gibt den Fund einer hochgradigen Goldmineralisierung in Stollen L463-E im Trinidad Gebiet der Doña Amelia Zone bekannt. Diese neuen Ergebnisse sind Teil der andauernden Untertagenentwicklungen und Massenprobenentnahmen auf dem San Simon Projekt in Bolivien.
Massenprobenentnahmen im Stollen L463-E (der ?Ost-Stollen?) entlang der Streichlänge der Hauptquarzader (MQV) ergaben Goldwerte von 5,6 g/t Gold über 33,5 m, bei einer Weite der MQV von 1,0 m bis über 3,0 m. Massenprobenentnahmen in einer Senke des Ost-Stollens ergaben Goldwerte von 6,7 g/t Gold über 8,9 m. Die erste Massenprobenentnahme der kürzlich begonnenen Steigung im Ost-Stollen ergaben 9,6 g/t Gold über 1,8 m.
An der Fundamentenschwelle, etwa 33,5 m entlang des Ost-Stollens wurde eine Goldmineralisierung entdeckt, deren Streckenproben Goldwerte von bis zu 15 g/t Gold ergaben. Diese Goldmineralisierung ist ähnlich der Mineralisierung in der Fundamentenschwelle von Stollen L484-W, welche in den Pressemitteilungen vom 5. September und 24. November 2006 beschrieben wurden.
?Die Ergebnisse der Massenprobenentnahmen aus dem Ost-Stollen im Trinidad Gebiet sind sehr vielversprechend. Einzelne Massenprobenentnahmen ergaben mehr als 10 g/t Gold und weisen darauf hin, dass hochgradigere Goldzonen in der Doña Amelia Zone vorkommen könnten, ? sagte Hans Rasmussen, CEO bei Eaglecrest. ?Die Mineralisierungen in der Fundamentenschwelle und den Steilwänden erscheinen weitaus beständiger als nach den Diamantbohrungen angenommen. Geologische Details:
Die Goldverteilung in der MQGV scheint unregelmäßig und inhomogen zu sein, denn Streckenproben ergaben Werte von unter 0,3 g/t Gold bis zu 120 g/t Gold. Diese Goldverteilung der MQV legt Nahe, dass die unregelmäßige Mineralisierung in den Steilwänden (bis zu 3,2 g/t Gold) eine ähnliche Kontinuität wie die in der Fundamentschwelle aufweisen könnte. Die Mineralisierung der Fundamentschwelle im Ost-Stollen wurde aktuell bis auf 33,5 m entlang der Streichrichtung der MQV verfolgt und auch in der Senke 8,9 m nach unten und 1,8 m nach oben erfasst.
Der Ost-Stollen der MQV wird in Streichrichtung entwickelt, um die 10 Diamantbohrlöcher zu durchkreuzen. Senke D206 wurde in Richtung des Diamantenbohrlochs TRD06-206 entwickelt, während die Erhöhung R64 in Richtung Diamantbohrloch TRD04-064 entwickelt wird. Die Entwicklung weiterer Senken und Erhöhungen ist in Planung, da der Ost-Stollen weiter nach Osten hin erweitert wird, und zwar in Richtung Diamantbohrloch TRD03-26, wo Goldwerte von 8,6 g/t aus der Mineralisierung der MQV über eine wahre Dicke von 4,2 m entnommen wurden.
Das Untertage Probenprogramm wurde entwickelt, um die Bohreinschnitte der MQV zu teilen und so in-situ einen genaueren durchschnittlichen Goldgehalt und eine genauere Ressourceneinschätzung der Doña Amelia Zone zu erhalten. Die Entwicklung von Erhöhungen und Senken im Ost-Stollen geht weiter, sowie auch die Erweiterung des Stollens, der mittlerweile eine Länge con 104,5 m hat und sich nach Osten erstreckt.
