Santoy Resources Ltd. (TSX Venture Exchange – SAN) ist erfreut, bekannt geben zu dürfen, dass die Bohrungen in ihrer zu 100 % im Besitz befindlichen Bow River Kohlelagerstätte am südwestlichen Ende des La Ronge Sees in Saskatchewan begonnen haben. Ein 13 vertikale Bohrungen umfassendes Programm wurde geplant um Kohlevorkommen sowie deren Dicke und die Qualität der Kohle als Vorbereitung für eine der Richtlinie 43-101 entsprechende Re-Kalkulation zu bestätigen. Diese Kohlelagerstätte, gelegen in unmittelbarer Nähe zu einer großen Wasserleitung und einer Straße, wurde ursprünglich während der Jahre 1972-74 von Brascan durch Bohrungen getestet, mit der Absicht ein Kohlekraftwerk zu unterstützen, das der expandierenden Uranindustrie im Norden von Saskatchewan Energie zur Verfügung stellen sollte.

Die 5% Uran sind natürlich ein Wert der noch durch eine Bohrung bestätigt werden muss, es steht zu erwarten das der Beginn der Bohrung demnächst angekündigt werden, übrigens die Aktionärsversammlung ist für 17ten Januar angesetzt.

Santoy ist in der Anomaly 7 auf das Uran gestossen.

Hmm ich halte wenig von Orakelei, auch der Begriff 'absehbar' hängt ziemlich von der Höhe und der Blickrichtung ab ;-)

Nun wir stehen an einem Punkt an dem zum einen die zu erwartenden Nachrichten ein enorme Dimension einnehemn können und zum anderen alle wie gebannt auf eben diese warten...

Kann es noch mehr Kurspotential für 'absehbare Zeit' geben?

Wenn es aber so einfach wäre würde ich hier bestimmt kein Keyboard mehr bedienen... aber ich bin guter Hoffnung das sich das vielleicht bald gibt.

Wie ihr vielleicht wisst hat SAN ungefär C$ 5 Millionen in der Kasse, am 6.12 wurde noch ein Private Placement in Höhe von C$ 1 Million aufgelegt (gegen eine Option bei 0.58 cent), ein Canadisches board Mitglied hat versucht was vom Kuchen zu bekommen aber scheinbar war alles schon weg am Tag der Ankündigung...

Was wir mit den 6 Millionen machen wird interessant, wahrscheinlich ein grosses Bohrprogramm in Labrador... in den 5%Uran Funden

Gold $600/31.1 grams = $19.29 per gram
1g/t gold = $19.29/tonne

1190.48/19.29 = 61.71

So: 1% U3O8 = 61.71 g/t Au

SAN - 1.48% times 61.71 = 91.33 g/t Au

Mit den Zahlen von heute:
1% U3O8 = 22.046 lbs U3O8/tonne
$65.5/lb times 22.046 lbs/tonne = $1444.013/tonne
Gold $600/31.1 grams = $19.29 per gram
1g/t gold = $19.29/tonne

1444.013/19.29 = 74.85811

So: 1% U3O8 = 74.59 g/t Au

SANTOY CLOSES PRIVATE PLACEMENT FINANCING

Santoy Resources Ltd. has closed the non-brokered private placement reported in the company's news in Stockwatch dated Dec. 6, 2006. The company has sold 1,927,240 million units, comprising one common share and one-half warrant, to 10 arm's-length placees at a price of 58 cents per unit for gross proceeds of $1,117,800. Each full warrant will be exercisable into one common share of the company at an exercise price of 90 cents for a period of two years from the closing date. The warrants will be subject to an accelerated expiry, wherein the expiry period may be reduced, upon notice to holders and at the election of the company, if the closing price of the shares is equal to or greater than $1.20 per share for 10 consecutive trading days. If this condition is met and the company so elects, the exercise period will be reduced to 25 business days from the date notice is provided by the company to the warrantholders.

This financing is subject to regulatory approval and finders' fees will be paid to accredited agents on that portion of the funds raised by third parties. The shares issued under this financing are subject to a hold period until April 16, 2007, under applicable securities regulations. The funds will be applied to general working capital.

The TradeTech Weekly Spot Uranium Price Indicator has soared
by more than 97 percent during 2006.

As StockInterview.com predicted a week ago, uranium sellers got what they were expecting - a price bump. For the week ending December 15, the weekly spot uranium price indicator jumped by $7/pound, or more than 10 percent, to $72/pound per pound U3O8. According to Treva Klingbiel, editor of Nuclear Market Review, this was “the single largest increase reported since NUEXCO began publishing prices in 1968.” TradeTech posts the weekly spot uranium price change on the company’s website – http://www.uranium.info

The price increase resulted from a number of bids for an offering by a U.S. uranium producer of 260 thousand pounds of U3O8. According to Klingbiel, “The producer received multiple bids with the winning bid at, or very near, today’s Uranium Spot Price indicator of $72/pound.”

At least nine buyers remain active in the market seeking about 5 million pounds of U3O8, according to TradeTech, which releases the weekly spot uranium price indicator through widely followed industry magazine, Nuclear Market Review. Klingbiel reported this week’s auction of uranium created a ‘feeding frenzy’ among buyers, writing, “Meeting this expectation, competition was indeed fierce, as buyers exhibited a willingness to pay a strong premium in order to purchase material at a fixed price.”

Looking ahead, one U.S. utility hopes to secure 3.5 million pounds for delivery in 2012. A non-U.S. utility seeks to secure 10 million pounds for delivery starting in 2009. Another two non-U.S. utilities are attempting to purchase more than five million pounds in the long-term market, starting as early as 2009. Fifteen more utilities are evaluating long-term purchases for more than 35 million pounds for delivery between 2007 and 2020. Only one U.S.-based seller is currently evaluating bids for 1.2 million pounds of uranium for delivery as early as 2008.

Clearly, the spectacular price rally of 2006 will continue into early 2007 as the impact of the flooding at, and subsequent delays of uranium production from, Cameco Corp’s Cigar Lake project in northern Saskatchewan. Because of the past two week’s news reports, there was concern about the Department of Energy Future auctioning from uranium inventories. These auctions may not begin to take place until mid 2007.

im Stockhouse board hält sich hartnäckig das Gerücht, dass Dines SAN.V auf dem Radar hat und demnächst covern könnte...wäre natürlich kurzfristig ein ungeheurer Turbo...wird aber auch ohne ihn!

Hallo zusammen, freut mich das mehr Leute den Stock anschauen, ich bin seit letzten Februar dran und denke das ist ein Selbstlaeufer nur eine Frage der Frist.

Zu Dines, in dem Letter von ihm wurde gesagt :
" We are especially impressed with the upside power in uraniums such as Alberta Star and Uranerz; also stocks not yet recommended, such as Mawson and Santoy, all of which we have owned for some time".

Eine eigenartige Formulierung, ich uebersetze das mal:

"Wir sind beeindruckt von dem Aufwaertspotential bei Uranaktien... auch bei Aktien die wir noch nicht empfohlen haben wie Mason and Santoy, aber wir haben von allen schon eine gewisse Zeit Aktien besessen."

Da war ich irritiert, die einzige Interpretation die da eigentlich bleibt...kauefen

Santoy Resources Ltd.(TSX Venture Exchange - SAN) is pleased to announce further assay results received from the Fish Hawk Lake Zones on Santoy Resources Ltd. 100% owned Anomaly 7 property, Central Mineral Belt Labrador. The Fish Hawk Lake South Zone, along with the Fish Hawk Lake North and Fish Hawk Lake Central Zones, were discovered by Santoy's prospecting crews in September, 2006 during prospecting follow-up of airborne radiometric anomalies on the Anomaly 7 property. All assay results from the three zones have now been returned. Please refer to news release dated October 13, 2006 for the previously released assays.

Fish Hawk Lake South Zone

The Fish Hawk Lake South Zone is a radioactive zone that has been traced 430 meters along strike and over widths of up to 20 meters. The zone occurs at the southern tip of Fish Hawk Lake. Initial grabs from the Fish Hawk Lake South Zone returned thirteen analyses greater than 0.100% U3O8, five analyses greater than 0.400% U3O8, and a best assay of 1.487% U3O8. The mineralization is associated with fractured to brecciated and hematized Archean granodiorite. Assay results from two channel cut trenches spaced 75 meters apart and along strike have been returned with the following results:

Trench 1: 0.056% U3O8 over 9.0 meters.

Trench 2: 0.101% U3O8 over 7.0 meters, with additional grab samples
of 0.201% U3O8 and 0.041% U3O8 extending the zone for an
additional 2 meters.

Santoy-Melkior Joint Venture Acquire More Uranium Claims in Otish Basin, Quebec

Santoy Resources Ltd. (TSX Venture Exchange -- SAN) and its 50:50 joint venture partner, Melkior Resources Inc. (TSX Venture -- MKR), have entered into an option agreement with Majescor Resources Inc. (TSX Venture -- MAJ) to earn sixty six and two thirds percent interest in 317 claims (map designated cells or CDC's) totaling 14,741 hectares in the Lac Laparre area in the Otish Mountains district of Quebec.

The properties are situated within the Otish Basin where the Archaen to Lower Proterozoic basement complex is unconformably overlain by fluvio-terrestrial to marine sediments of the Upper Aphebian-age Indicateur Formation (locally conglomerate, quartz arenite and sub-arkose). The Majescor Option is located 10 kilometres to the northeast of and on trend with the recently acquired Santoy-Melkior Joint Venture Marc-Andre uranium occurrence (Santoy news release of January 29, 2007).

The setting of the Majescor property appears to be analogous to Strateco Resources' Matoush Property, to the southwest, where one of the best reported drill intercepts to date has been 2.1 percent U3O8 over a core length of 12.4 metres (Strateco news release dated Dec. 21, 2006). At Matoush, mineralization is reported to be "perched" above the unconformity with the underlying basement rocks, in altered arkosic to sub-arkosic, brecciated sandstones in the hangingwall of the Matoush Fault. Uranium mineralization is closely linked to tourmaline alteration on both sides of a gabbro dike in the sediments. This style of mineralization bears a number of similarities, including the age relationships, to unconformity-related uranium orebodies at McArthur River and Cigar Lake in the Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan.

The terms of the Option Agreement, which is subject to regulatory approval, specify an exploration work commitment of $2.5 million over five years (with a guaranteed minimum of $300,000 in year one), a cash payment of $50,000, the issuance of 200,000 shares of Melkior and 60,000 shares of Santoy, in tranches over a one year period, and the reservation of a 1.5% Net Smelter Return royalty interest, one half of which is purchasable at any time prior to commercial production for $1 million. The option excludes diamonds as Majescor is retaining that exploration right and will continue with those investigations. The Santoy-Melkior Joint Venture will be the initial operator with exploration to focus on compiling all of the available geological, geochemical and geophysical data with a view to re-interpretation of the setting with respect to uranium potential. Under the option agreement, Majescor's existing database will be made available to the Joint Venture. These investigations will be followed by an early spring lake sediment geochemical sampling program.

The Santoy-Melkior Joint Venture has applied to the Quebec Government for over 500 map-designated cells elsewhere in the Otish Basin and is awaiting finalization of this process. The Joint Venture is also in the planning stage of a ground geophysical program preparatory to an early summer core drilling program on its recently acquired Marc-André uranium occurrence (news release dated January 29, 2007).

This news release has been reviewed by Mr. J. R. Allan, P.Geol., a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
