Hier ist eine interessante Analyse, schon bischen älter aber das wichtige ist das Insider 40. Millionen Aktien zu 2,5 Mio € gekauft haben. Durchschnitt also 0,625€ pro Aktie.

Macau Success "strong buy"

Die Experten von "Global Insider Investing" stufen die Aktie von Macau Success (/ WKN A0DLG5) mit "strong buy" ein. Erstmals seit einem viertel Jahr würden sich die Großaktionäre und Top-Insider von Macau Success wieder mit massiven Käufen zurückmelden. Bereits im März diesen Jahres hätten die beiden Gründer, Vorstände und Großaktionäre Sonny Yeung und William Chan eigene Aktien zurückgekauft - für Millionenbeträge. Seinerzeit seien die Orders zu Kursen zwischen 0,90 und 1,02 Hongkong Dollar (HKD) erfolgt. Zuletzt habe der Kurs bis auf 0,70 HKD nachgelassen. Am 5. und 7. Juli hätten die beiden Insider daraufhin in mehreren Tranchen über 40 Mio. Aktien im Gegenwert von umgerechnet immerhin 2,5 Mio. EUR gekauft. Nach Ansicht der Wertpapierexperten könnten Anleger sicher sein, dass derartige Engagements nicht zufällig getätigt würden. Die Analysten von Tai Fook Research hätten in ihrer Studie vom 17. Mai bei einem Kurs von 0,77 HKD ein Kursziel von 2 HKD in Aussicht gestellt. Damals seien das 160 Prozent Potenzial gewesen. Nach dem Kursrückgang (aktuell bei 0,65 HKD) sei das Potenzial auf 210 Prozent gestiegen. Die Experten von "Global Insider Investing" bewerten die Macau Success-Aktie mit "strong buy".

Im Dezember 2004 gabs wohl den Hype dass dort Casinos gebaut werden.

Interessant ist auch dass die Firma kürzlich schon 2x eine Meldung rausbrachte, dass sie sich die aktuelle Kursbewegungen nicht erklären kann.

1,9 Mio. Aktien .da stimmt aber was nicht

am Tag werden in Hong Kong im Schnitt 30 Mio. Aktien gehandelt,

meine etwas von 370 Mio. alten Stücken gelesen zu haben, und von 370 Mio. neuen Aktien,bin mir aber nicht sicher

würde eine MK von ca. 70 Mio. Euro machen

guck doch mal im Geschäftsbericht den ich letztens gepostet habe.
Wir wissen ja noch nichtmal wieviele Aktien es genau gibt.

Ich denke aber, dass Sven Lorenz nicht wegen dem aktuellen Geschäft eingestiegen ist. Ich denke eher dass in Macau Success Teile des Casino Geschäfts eingebracht werden sollen oder dass die Firma größere grundstücke besitz die dann im Wert steigen werden.
Diese Meldung kann man bei Quamnet irgerndwie lesen wenn man zahlt : "Aug 22, 2005 Macau Success May Up On Asset Injection Hope". Da gehts also um eine Spekulation dass irgerndwas in die Firma eingebracht werden soll und Sven ist zumindest dafür DER Experte, das könnt ihr mir glauben

Muss man halt abwarten, wir haben ja irgerndwie zuwebig Infos.

Macau businessman Li Chi-keung, a former managing director of the Macau Jockey Club, has become a major shareholder of gaming investment company Macau Success in a HK$128.8 million deal.

Through his private company Joy Idea Investments, Li bought 120 million shares of Macau Success Monday from Spring Wise Investments, the firm's second largest shareholder, at HK$1.07, as its share price surged 11.9 percent in trading, closing up 12 cents to HK$1.13.

Joy Idea and Macau Success are co- investors in the HK$2.4 billion Ponte 16 redevelopment project majority owned by Stanley Ho's Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, one of the three gaming license holders in the enclave.

The project's casino is slated to open late this year, followed in 2007 by a hotel and shopping center.

Macau Success chairman Sonny Yeung Hoi-sing, its biggest shareholder, said its expansion will be assisted by Li's connections within Macau gaming.

"Macau Success has a very solid business model and a strong management team," said Li, who will now hold a 6.3 percent stake in the company.

Spring Wise, the investment firm of Macau Success deputy chairman William Chan and his father Chan Hon- keung, saw its stake fall to 11.2 percent.

Separately, Lai Sun Group's eSun Holdings announced plans Monday to sell off a stake in its Cotai reclamation area development project.

"Given the value of the site, we intend to sell an interest in the entire site" to fund development of the Cotai project and others, the company said. It said it has been in talks with potential joint venture partners as well as shopping mall developers, international hotel groups, arena managers and entertainment companies.

eSun said the project will include two hotels with a total of 1,150 rooms, 145,000 square meters of what it called "hotel apartments," 90,000 sq m of retail and 125,000 sq m of entertainment facilities, including an arena, television studios and a 2,500-seat theater. The project will be built in two phases with 340,000 sq m included in the first.

eSun said it expects borrowings secured by the land plot will help fund development.

(Infocast News) Macau Success (0487) Executive Director Lee Siu-cheung said today the company has been granted approval by the Macau government to increase the plot ratio of its Ponte 16 project in Macau. With the approval, the total gross floor area of the project will increase from 63,500 square metres originally to 126,500 square metres, and the total investment will also increase from $1.2 billion to $2.4 billion.

With the approval to increase the gross floor area, the number of the casino's gaming tables will remain unchanged. But the hotel rooms will increase to 400 from 200 originally, and there will be 19 VIP rooms.

According to Lee, the project will be completed in three phases: the first will be the casino that will be completed in the second quarter of 2007; and the second and third phases will be the hotel and the shopping centre scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2007. The shopping centre will have an area of 55,000 square metres. The land premium payable will increase by $100-110 million due to the increase in plot ratio. The planning of the casino is still awaiting government approval, he said.

The company said that the $800 million funding for the construction of the first phase has been secured and a loan will be considered first for funding the second-phase project. The company is now in talk with banks.

Mit dem „Hotel Lisboa“ eröffnete 1970 das erste große Kasino der Stadt. Doch bis vor kurzem konnte nur der einheimische Kasino-König Stanley Ho mit der Spielleidenschaft der Asiaten Geld verdienen - er besaß die entsprechenden Lizenzen. Dieses Monopol fiel 2002. Jetzt arbeiten neben Ho auch Amerikas Kasino-Konzerne daran, Asiens Spieler-Mekka mit Investitionen in Milliardenhöhe in ein zweites Las Vegas zu verwandeln.

Immer neue Freizeitparks, Hotel- und Kasino-Resorts schießen wie Pilze aus dem Boden. Neben dem traditionellen Spielerzentrum auf der Halbinsel Macau soll nun auch der mehr als vier Quadratkilometer große Cotai Strip, der zwischen den vorgelagerten Inseln Coloane und Taipa aufgeschüttet wurde, den Tourismus ankurbeln. Der Name ist Programm, der Las Vegas Strip das Vorbild.

Fast 19 Millionen Besucher und damit zwölf Prozent mehr als im Vorjahr zog es 2005 nach Macau, allen voran die Tagesbesucher aus China und dem nur rund 70 Kilometer entfernten Hongkong. In diesem Jahr rechnet das örtliche Fremdenverkehrsbüro in der Stadt am Perlenfluß mit etwa 20 Millionen Gästen. Sie haben die Kasino-Giganten im Visier, die sich mit Hotel-Projekten der Superlative gegenseitig zu übertrumpfen versuchen. Das Hotelangebot von derzeit etwa 9.000 Zimmern soll sich bis 2008 verdoppeln und in den nächsten zehn Jahren mit 53 neuen Hotels auf rund 38.000 Zimmer steigen...

(Infocast News) According to the Stock Exchange's SDI information, PMA Capital Management bought 107,000,000 shares (5.62%) in Macau Success (0487) on April 13 at $1.094 per share on average, or $117 million in total.

Deutsche Bank added 101,096,000 shares in Macau Success on April 18 and its shareholding in the company increased from 102,836,000 shares (5.4%) to 203,932,000 shares (10.71%).

(Infocast News) Macau Success Limited (0487) posted a net profit of $28.38 million for the financial year ended 30 September 2006, up 130.9% from a year earlier. EPS were $0.0141. No final dividend was declared.

Macau Success (0487) said that the new flagship project of the group- Ponte 16 should be earnings accretive in 2007. The total development cost of the project is expected to be approximately $2.4 billion. The first phase of Ponte 16, including the casino (subject to Macau SAR Government's approval), is scheduled to start operations by June, while the other phases of Ponte 16 are expected to be completed by March 2008.

The total gross floor area of Ponte 16 has been expanded to 126,500 square metres.

Macau Success has 49% interest in The Pier 16 project.

In order to strengthen the tourist-related business of the group, the management is determined to provide one-stop solution to customers, from travel arrangements to gaming. The investment of the group's flagship project - Ponte 16 is expected to strategically enhance the group's synergies with its current cruise and travel agency business. The travel agency acts as an exclusive platform to serve high-end tourists and builds a direct network and alliance with travel agencies in Mainland China, bringing direct traffic to the cruise and Ponte 16.

For the fiscal year ended 30 September 2006, profit attributable to equity shareholders of the group amounted to approximately $28.38 million, representing an increase of 1.3 times from a year ago. In fiscal 2006, turnover from cruise leasing and management was approximately $95.7 million and segment profit from the cruise business was approximately $45.046 million, up 3.8% from a year earlier. Interest income surged 3.6 times to $20.5 million for the last fiscal year.

Macau Success (0487) financial controller Simon Luk said that the new flagship project of the group - Ponte 16 is seeking loan in amount of $1.6 billion through project financing.

The interest rate may make reference to a $1.2 billion financing raised by a joint venture of Melco International Development (0200) at the end of last year, he said.

Macau Success has boosted its stake in the $2.4 billion project to 49% and has contributed $200 million to the project. The total investment made by the company will amount to about $1.2 billion.

Macau Success (0487) executive director Lee Siu-cheung said the company targets for completion of construction of casino of the Ponte 16 project in June, and initially aims for a daily net win of $33,000 per general table and net win of US$22,000 per table in the VIP room of casino. The company hoped the casino will have an intake of 6,800 customers per day.

Moreover, construction of the hotel portion will be completed by the end of this year. The company aims that hotel room rate will be $1,000 for standard room and $20,000 for VIP room. Construction of shopping arcade will be completed in March 2008 with a target rent of $50 per square foot.

The casino portion of Ponte 16 project will cover a gross floor area of 27,000 square meters which will provide 150 general table and 24 VIP tables. The hotel will have gross floor area of 49,000 square meters, while the shopping arcade will have gross floor area of 50,000 square meters.

According to Standard & Poor’s Equity Research, the estimated fair value for Macau Success is HK$2.1bln, or HK$0.97 per share, based on discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis and supported by relative valuations.
Net profit is projected to surge to HK$205 mln in FY08 , although S&P projects that net profit will dip to HK$12 mln in FY07, from HK$28.4 mln in FY06, due to the absence of interest income from the King Seiner Palace Promotor loan.
Ponte 16* is expected to be the largest profit contributor; its VIP hall will account for 84% and 74% of net profit in FY08 and FY09, respectively, while the balance will largely be derived from associate Pier 16.

HK-listed Macau Success unit in deal with Japan's Maruhan on possible asset sale
HONG KONG (XFN-ASIA) - Macau Success Ltd (487.HK) said its indirect wholly-owned unit Golden Sun Profits Ltd has entered into a preliminary agreement with Japan's Maruhan Corp under which Maruhan could acquire between 20.5 to 41 pct stake in Golden Sun's unit World Fortune Ltd.

Golden Sun owns 100 pct of World Fortune, which in turn owns 49 pct of Pier 16 Property Development Ltd.

Pier 16 Property Development plans to develop a theme park in Macau.

Macau Success said Maruhan's proposed investment in World Fortune will enable the Japanese company to get an effective 10-20 pct interest in Pier 16 Property Development.

It said that Golden Sun and Maruhan have entered into a confidentiality agreement under which Golden Sun will provide Maruhan certain information about World Fortune and Pier 16 Property Development.

To get the confidential information, Maruhan has agreed to pay Golden Sun earnest money of some 100 mln hkd which will be used as a deposit if the Japanese firm proceeds with its investment. The money will be returned if negotiations relating to Maruhan's proposed investment are terminated.

(Infocast News) Macau Success (0487) vice chairman Lee Siu-cheung said today that the company is in negotiation with the Japanese strategic investor Maruhan Corporation on joint development of South East Asia entertainment market.

Han Chang-woo, chairman of Maruhan, said he sees scope for development in the gaming and entertainment market in Japan over the coming three to five years. He hoped to explore the opportunities through the alliance with Macau Success.

Macau Success announced early this month that it introduced Maruhan, which is principally engaged in the operation of entertainment facilities such as pachinko parlors, bowling alleys, golf driving ranges, amusement facilities, cinemas and other leisure-related business in Japan, as a strategic shareholder.

Maruhan has invested a total of $325 million for a 5% stake in the Ponte 16 project, valuing the project at $6.5 billion, said Lee.

Han declined to comment whether it will further boost its stake in the Ponte 16 project.

Ich denke ich warte nochein wenig...wollte iegendlich einsteigen, aber ich glaube, das da kein solch ein Hotel steht oder entsteht!
Nicht mal auf den einschlägigen Macau-Seiten gibt es Bilder vom fertigen Casino!
