Infinium Labs Selects Synapse to Guide Manufacturing of the Phantom Lapboard
SEATTLE, March 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Infinium Labs, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: IFLB) announced today the Company has contracted with Synapse Product Development, LLC, a product and technology development consulting firm, for manufacturing development of the Phantom(R) Lapboard. Synapse previously was engaged to assist the Company with the Phantom Lapboard prototype development.

'We are ready to take the Phantom Lapboard into production and have re-engaged Synapse to assist the Company in manufacturer selection, tooling development, documentation control and process development,' stated Greg Koler, Infinium Labs' CEO and President. 'The Company is reducing its operating costs by restructuring and outsourcing hardware and software development.'

'We are focused on working with Synapse to get the Phantom Lapboard to market as quickly as possible,' Koler said. 'We have been in discussions with several peripheral manufacturers and have redefined Synapse's role to help us with the contract manufacturer selection. Based on our initial discussions with manufacturers, Infinium Labs is on track to hit our 2006 distribution goals for the Phantom Lapboard. We will be announcing our contract manufacturer as soon as possible.'

The Phantom Lapboard was nominated at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) alongside Nintendo's DS (Dual Screen) and Sony's PSP (PlayStation Portable) for the conference's Game Critics Awards in the 'Best of Show Hardware/Peripheral' category. The Phantom Lapboard is an extremely innovative peripheral that enables players to control games designed for keyboard and mouse usage with as much agility as they are used to in the office, from the comfort of the couch or easy chair. The Lapboard rotates for left- and right-handed users and also inclines on a 90-degree angle with a hard surface below for the Phantom Mouse. The device comes either wired or wireless and provides USB ports and headphone/microphone ports.

Greg Koler, 49, brings a wealth of over 15 years of sector specific skills around broadband gaming content and interactive TV services space, first as a consultant for Softbank ® Broadband media Europe and Japan, a games service and system provider to broadband network operators in Europe, Japan and the USA. He also served in a similar capacity for television broadcast and satellite set-top box manufacture FTA Communication Technologies, and mobile provider Vox Mobile Communications in Luxembourg.

Previously, Koler was general manager at Infomedia S.A., Luxembourg, a European subsidiary of Gemstar TV Guide International, Inc., where he was responsible for five sales business units in Europe of the US parent company. Prior to that, he was strategic sales director for TDK Recording Media Europe, a global publisher of entertainment software for consoles and PCs. Under Koler's licensing-based strategy, TDK Mediactive entered the console and PC games market and grew video game net revenue from zero to over $42 million in less than three years.

Koler was also a founding director of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Koler has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

(OTC Bulletin Board: IFLB), developers of the first end-to-end, on-demand game service for delivery to the living room which allows consumers to try/rent/buy any game, any time from the convenience of their living rooms, announced today that it has received a $5 million funding commitment from Golden Gate Investors in the form of a convertible debenture and warrant.

'This commitment gives the Company a funding path to begin manufacturing the Phantom Lapboard and to launch marketing and sales for the Lapboard which we target for mid-2006, allowing us to start building our manufacturing lines this year, and continue our initiative to launch the Phantom Game Service,' noted Greg Koler, Infinium's CEO and President.

The Phantom Lapboard was nominated at the 2004 E3 show alongside Nintendo and Sony for the 'BEST OF SHOW' category. Ja, was ganz Grosses. Hier werden naemlich in Grossem Stil Aktien gedruckt und es gibt sicherlich bald wieder einen Grossen Reversesplit.

Und wo steht das mit dem Reversesplit ????

Das Unternehmen hat 5 Mio USD als Darlehen bekommen um das Produkt in den Markt zu bringen und in der Geschäftsleitung sind erfahrene Leute aus der Branche. DAs Produkt ist bislang einmalig.
Dass die Aktien gedruckt haben um sich zu finanzieren ist doch nichts aussergewöhnliches, oder ??

Sag ich ja. Und das Darlehen wird natuerlich wieder in Aktien zurueckbezahlt, wie auch sonst, und ratet mal, wo die landen??
