ursprünglich waren es sogar nur 20% der mainstream und high end desktop Prozessoren bis Ende 2006 geplant. Nun sind es 25%. Für die ganzen Freaks, die zum Conroe wechseln wollen heisst es wohl Schlange stehen.

Das dürften ja kaum mehr als 10-15% aller Desktop-CPUs sein

Wenn das dann auch noch die neueste Info von der Computex sein soll, dann frag ich mich schon, wieso der geplante Conroe-Anteil sinkt? Gibts etwa womöglich doch ziemliche Fertigungsprobleme, die womöglich noch viel größer sind, als man sie noch vor ein paar Wochen eingeschätzt hat? Zu all dem würde ja auch wieder das "Herunternehmen" des Conroe-XE-Taktes auf nur noch 2,93Ghz passen, oder?

Bei 64 Bit scheint Intel-NGA deutlich weniger zu profitieren als AMD-K8. Das deckt sich mit unseren Netburst-Messungen und den in diesem Forum bereits geschriebenen Vermutungen. Bei unserer Sooftware bingt 64 Bit auf AMD rund 30% .mal sehen wann ich mit 64 Bit einen NGA-Prozessor testen kann.
