Ren, Carlin Trend, Nevada, USA — Uranerz/Cameco, 1996-2000

Preliminary mapping and data analysis in the summer of 1995 indicated the possibility of a Purple vein Type target at Ren. A strong recommendation was made to Uranerz personnel to acquire the property.
Significant intersections of >0.2 opt Au were discovered in a Purple Vein (Meikle)-type gold deposit using targets developed by three-dimensional Pluton Vectoring(1998), a Metal Dispersion Study(1996), Detailed Geologic Mapping(1995-1996) and Fluid Path Structural Analysis (1998).
The first offset of an existing moderately mineralized drill hole into the MagmaChem target made the discovery.
Deep drilling in the fall of 2000 discovered about 1 ounce of gold over a thickness of 100 feet at a depth of 2900 feet in ‘Popovich’ stratigraphy a few hundred feet from the first ‘discovery’ (strongly rumored as of 12/4/00). Intense drill documentation of this Meikle type orebody continues.


Ntotoroso, Ghana, West Africa — Moydow Mines International, 1999-2000

Inspection of geologic data at the March 1999 Toronto PDAC and initial drill results led to the recognition of a potential resource of at least several million ounces of gold in a reduced Timmins/Grass Valley-type (MC7) gold porphyry, plutonic hosted setting (E. Zone).
Pluton Vectoring and Metal Dispersion work is in progress.
As of January 2000 about 2,000,000 ounces of gold at ~3.2 g/t ‘reserve’ has been drill defined in a 1 km by 60 m wide by 140m deep rectangular polygon within Zone E.
The potential deposit at Zone E is at least 200 m deep, 2 km long, and 60 m wide.
Resource defined ounces in the greater Ntotoroso area held by Normandy/Moydow now stand at approximately 8,000,000 ounces.
In early February 2000 shallow reverse circulation RAB holes drilled into a sub-laterite gold target near Kenyase (now referred to as Zone M) intersected 1.16 g/t over 8m which is open to depth in a new E zone type setting within the immediate footwall of Ntotoroso intrusive sequence. This MagmaChem target was delineated by Pluton Vectoring alone and did not show any significant surface soil sample gold geochemistry (<2 ppb to 18 ppb and 6 ppb near the intercept described above).
In late September-early October 2000, drilling of the deep extension of the Zone E target reported successful results in two ‘deep’ drillholes [2.12 g/t Au from 422m to 517m (including 4.75 g/t from 430m to 450m) in drillhole RC-361 and 60m of 4.82 g/t from 311 to 371m in drillhole 352]. This down-structure target was constrained by qualitative Pluton Vectoring ,Preliminary Fluid Path Structural Analysis and textural information (occurrence of ‘bubble rock’). These data defined a differentiation path which coincided with the down-plunge projection of the Zone E orebody which had been defined to 160m. The first drillholes into this down-plunge MagmaChem target discovered the projection of the ‘sweet spot’ and now strongly suggest that the mineable resource by open-pit (1.6 million ounces) continues to depth and may approach 5 million ounces (using indicated resource criteria). Zone E continues to be open to the south below depths of 500m.
A Metal Dispersion Study of soil and bedrock multi-element data revealed large spectacular metal coronas (eg. thorium) around the Zone E gold deposit. The metal dispersion patterns are especially well displayed in soil samples. These previously undocumented metal dispersion patterns have resulted in the development of a powerful ‘see-thru-laterite’ multi-element tool that could seriously facilitate exploration for gold deposits beneath laterite covers (see ‘CZ’ zone application below).
In October 2000 a Metal Dispersion Study of zone ‘CZ’ auriferous soil samples combined with qualitative Pluton Vectoring and Fluid Path Structural Analysis has redefined target aspects of a heretofore widespread gold soil anomaly that has defied conventional exploration approach. The redefined target is at least 900 m long and 100m wide and displays Zone E type metal dispersion characteristics. A follow-up 1200m drillhole program is planned for December 2000/January 2001.
An October 2000 geologic reassessment of the Sika Aminaso gold anomaly indicates it may contain 100,000 ounces of mineable gold resource from a 2.2m thick surface laterite zone. In addition, Pluton Vectoring, recognition of a paleoplacer stream channel, interpretation of aeromagnetic data and Fluid Path Structural Analysis indicate that the Sika Aminaso gold anomaly appears to have been transported southwestward from a possible lode target immediately to the northeast. Follow-up work has been strongly recommended for what could be a Zone E type porphyry gold target.
SE Ajo, Arizona, USA — Phelps Dodge, 1996-98

A potential >100 million ton chalcocite blanket was predicted adjacent to a "mined out" porphyry deposit discovered using integration of Pluton Vectoring, Fluid Path Structural Analysis and Modification of pre-existing geologic mapping.
First three holes drilled into the MagmaChem target discovered ore-grade and thickness (>100 feet of >1% Cu) of chalcocite.
Espanola, North-Central Chile — Phelps Dodge, 1996-97

The discovery of a giant (350+ million ton), potentially economic, copper-gold (>0.8% Cu, >0.005 opt Au) deposit was made using integration of Pluton Vectoring, Fluid Path Structural Analysis and Modification of pre-existing geologic mapping, and geophysical data.
The first two drill holes into the MagmaChem target discovered the potentially economic deposit, while a third drill hole outside of MagmaChem target was weakly mineralized.
South Alcaparrosa, North-Central Chile — Phelps Dodge, 1996

A several million ton copper-gold (>1% Cu + >0.01 opt Au) deposit was discovered using integration of Pluton Vectoring, Fluid Path Structural Analysis and Modification of pre-existing geologic mapping, and geophysical data.
The first drill holes into the MagmaChem target discovered the orebody.
Pascua, Central Chile — Lac/Barrick, 1993-95

A 15 million ounce gold deposit was found using a Metal Dispersion Study, Pluton Vectoring, and client geologic mapping.
First drill holes into the MagmaChem target made the discovery.
As of February 2000 the deposit has been expanded to 26 million ounces of gold (~1.6 g/t) and 689 million ounces of Ag (~75 g/t).
Tyrone, New Mexico — Phelps Dodge, 1994

Pluton Vectoring of the Tyrone pluton suggested the presence of an undiscovered deposit about 3 miles west of the operating pit at an existing copper occurrence.
A 200 million ton Cu-Mo porphyry deposit was discovered by drilling the MagmaChem target.
Alto Plano Region, Mexico — FMC (now Meridian), 1992-93

A possible Carlin-type cluster of gold systems was delineated using regional geologic analysis of Crustal Oxidation State and Magma Metal Series Modeling.
Follow-up grass-roots reconnaissance discovered more than 50 Carlin-type (MCA12 model) mineral districts using Expert System Analysis of multi-element geochemical data.
None of the MagmaChem targets has been drill tested.
South Meikle Deposit, Nevada, USA — Barrick, 1992

A 2.0 to 2.5 million ounce ‘blind’ gold deposit resource with a 1.0 million ounce drill proven reserve was found across a north-trending fault from the original Purple Vein discovery by a Metal Dispersion Study, Detailed Geologic Mapping, and Fluid Path Structural Analysis.
The first drill holes into the MagmaChem target made the discovery.
Trout Creek, Nevada, USA — Hecla, 1987-1988

Expert System Analysis of multi-element geochemical data identified a Carlin type geochemical model.
Subsequent drilling identified a 100,000 ounce resource.
A follow-up Metal Dispersion Study identified several new targets and a projection of the known resource onto ground to the north held by Santa Fe.

Preliminary Pluton Vectoring and Fluid Path Structural Analysis integrated with Detailed Geologic mapping of the Goldstrike Pit by Barrick geologic staff indicates the presence of a major gold target in the footwall of the Goldstrike gabbro-diorite stock to the south of the existing gold deposit in a Reidel deformation zone similar to the Dillon deformation zone.
The size of this gold resource could exceed 20 million ounces.
Baxter, Carlin Trend, Nevada, USA — AngloGold, 1999

Detailed Geologic Mapping, Fluid Path Structural Analysis and Pluton Vectoring integrated with interpretation of aeromagnetic data led to the identification of a deep Purple Vein (Meikle) Goldstrike-type gold targets.
A Metal Dispersion Study is in progress.
A deep drillhole planned to a two kilomenter depth is testing the MagmaChem target as of January 2000. If completed to 2 km, the drillole will set the depth record for deep testing of Carlin-type models.
A subsequent gold geochem soil survey has confirmed the surface projection of the deep MagmaChem targets.
Based on rumors ‘heard on the street’ in March 2000, the deep drillhole terminated in upper plate rocks around the 5500 foot level about 1500 to 2000 feet above the favorable lower plate rocks.
Jerritt Canyon, Nevada, USA — AngloGold, 1999

Pluton Vectoring integrated with aeromagnetic interpretation, re-interpretation of client geologic mapping and re-interpretation of client gold-arsenic geochemistry led to the identification of previously unrecognized gold targets beneath the Roberts Mountains Thrust in a mature gold district.
At least 8 specific targets have been identified that could contain a cumulative 10 million ounces of gold resource.
Detailed Geologic Mapping and a Metal Dispersion Study are planned.
Las Lajas, Sonora, Mexico — Phelps Dodge, 1998-99

Regional Geologic Analysis and Magma Metal Series Modeling using the Expert System Advisor led to the recognition of a Muruntau-type (PC1a) gold system.
Follow-up geologic mapping, geochemistry, and geophysics have continued to upgrade this prospect.
Golden April, Carlin Trend, Nevada, USA–Barrick 1992-1998

Detailed geologic mapping of upper plate rocks indicated the structural possibility of a concealed gold deposit in lower plate rocks.
By late 1998 cumulative drilling by Newmont and Barrick encountered at least 150,000 ounces of gold resource.
Chapi, Peru — Phelps Dodge, 1996-97

A program of Pluton Vectoring and Detailed of Geologic Mapping integrated with existing drill hole information led to the initial recognition of a possibly economic 485,000,000 ton oxide copper (>0.36% Cu) deposit.
An additional potential of up to 1 billion tons of oxide copper (0.35%-0.50% Cu) in pluton-centered target areas remains to be tested.
Pony Creek, Nevada, USA — Uranerz, 1996

Detailed Geologic Mapping, Metal Dispersion Study and Fluid Path Structural Analysis integrated with IP and resistivity surveys identified a gold target at >1,000’ beneath the Pony Creek pluton.
Drilling programs by Uranerz and more recently by Barrick have failed to test the target. Shallower drilling (<800’) encountered several hundred cumulative feet of 0.02-0.04 opt Au.
Rodeo Creek, Carlin Trend, Nevada, USA–Minorca-Trio Gold 1996-1997

Detailed Geologic Mapping, Metal Dispersion Studies, and Fluid Path Structural Analysis in surface and drillhole samples have led to the identification of two deep Meikle Type targets.
Up-structure economically interesting gold mineralization has been encountered but principal gold targets to the north remain to be tested.
Storm-Dee-Forty Niner–FMC Gold 1993-Barrick 1999

Detailed Geologic Mapping and Fluid Path Structural Analysis led to recognition of possible down-dip and southward continuation of storm resource into deep Dee orebody. Several deep targets in the east footwall of the Queen fault.
Follow-up drilling by FMC Gold in 1993 confirmed the Storm-Dee connection but failed to adequately test the deeper down-dip target.
An exploration decline driven by Barrick in 1999 has encountered economically interesting gold mineralization within the target outlines projected from the surface mapping. One of these includes the Forty-Niner zone.
Slaven Canyon, Nevada, USA — Hecla/American Copper and Nickel, 1987-89

A program of regional geologic analysis of Crustal Oxidation State and Magma Metal Series Modeling identified an area of potential Carlin-type (MCA12) mineralization.
Follow-up reconnaissance mapping and sampling using the Expert System Advisor resulted in the discovery and acquisition by staking of a Roberts Mountains Allochthon gold deposit.
The deposit was discovered by Uranerz drilling in 1992-93. The deep potential remains untested.

Toronto, Ontario, Kanada. 24. April 2006. Zaruma Resources Inc. (Frankfurt WKN: 886597, TSX: ZMR) bestätigt die Kupfer-Ressource auf der Luz-del-Cobre-Kupfer-Lagerstätte nach dem Standard NI 43-101. Luz del Cobre liegt innerhalb der sich vollständig in Unternehmensbesitz befindlichen Konzession San Antonio im Bundesstaat Sonora in Mexiko.

Auf der Grundlage eines vor kurzem abgeschlossenen, 13 Kern-Bohrungen und 977 Bohrmeter umfassenden Bohrprogramms zur Prüfung historischer Daten, kam der unabhängige Berater Eugene Puritch, P.Eng. von P&E Mining Consultants Inc. aus Brampton in Ontario zum Schluss, dass Luz del Cobre folgende Ressourcen enthält (siehe Tabelle). Dabei wurden der Berechnung der durchschnittliche Kupferpreis der letzten 24 Monate von 1,61 USD pro Pfund und ein optimierter Tagebau unter Berücksichtigung von Kosten, die der Ressourcengröße entsprechend angemessen sind, zugrunde gelegt:

Diese Ressourcen wurden nach den Richtlinien und Definitionen des Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), CIM Standards zur Berechnung von Mineral-Ressourcen und Reserven, wie vom CIM-Komitee am 11.12.2005 verabschiedet, berechnet.

Das Bohrprogramm wurde unter Leitung des Geologen James Poulter, einer qualifizierten Person laut Vorschrift, durchgeführt. Die chemischen Analysen erfolgten durch das Labor Chemex Laboratory in Vancouver, Kanada. Qualitäts- und Kontroll-Analysen anhand von unabhängig gezogenen Stichproben über 10% aller Proben durch SGS aus Toronto ergaben eine sehr hohe Übereinstimmung.

Ein technischer Bericht nach den NI 43-101-Richtlinien durch P&E Mining Consultants Inc. aus Brampton in Ontario wird innerhalb der nächsten 45 Tage nach dieser Pressemitteilung eingereicht.

Thomas Utter, President und CEO von Zaruma erklärt: "Wir sind mit diesem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden. Die Verifizierung der Ressourcen nach heutigem Standard war ein wichtiger Schritt, um dieses Projekt zur Produktions-Entscheidung zu bringen. Verglichen mit historischen Ressourcen-Angaben stellten wir fest, dass sich eine konstantere Kupfer-Vererzung innerhalb eines möglichen Tagebau-Abbauplans feststellen lässt. Daraus resultierte eine deutliche Zunahme des durchschnittlichen Kupfer-Gehalts gegenüber einer Abnahme der Tonnage. Die sich daraus ergebende Kupfer-Ressource von 102 Millionen Pfund Kupfer stimmt weitgehend mit den historischen Werten überein und bedeutet auch eine deutliche Steigerung der Wirtschaftlichkeit, weil weniger Erz für die gleiche Kupfer-Menge abgebaut werden muss. Frühere metallurgische Laugungstests haben gezeigt, dass das Erz gut und schnell laugbar ist, und, dass über 80% des Kupfers gewonnen werden kann. Wir sind entschlossen, dieses Projekt rasch z ur endgültigen Produktions-Entscheidung zu führen und sind dabei, die vorliegenden Ingenieurs-Arbeiten zu abzuschließen und die Betriebsgenehmigungen zu erneuern".

Ein kurs von 0,49 in deutschland ist sehr übertrieben. Umrechnungskurs von 0,63 Can-Dollar, ist ca. 0,44.
Auch der Chart in Canada sieht mir im Augenblich nach einer Korrektur aus, z.b. bewegen wir uns über dem oberen Bollinger-band - kein guter Indikator.

Wobei mir der Chart alles in allem, doch sehr zusagt und mich veranlasst, diesen wert erstmal auf meine Watchlist zu setzen.

Big Bar Gold – kommender Kupfergigant aus Arizona?

Vor wenigen Tagen durchbrach der Kupferpreis die 3 USD Marke. Trotz der hervorragenden Performance hat die Masse der Anleger an dem Steigen des Kupferpreises nicht partizipieren können. Jedoch gibt es einige hochinteressante Juniorminenunternehmen, die sich auf das rote Basismetall spezialisiert haben und somit von den weiteren Preissteigerungen profitieren werden.

Zwei aktuelle Kupfer-Projekte mit enormen „BLUE SKY“-POTENTIAL

Das Troy Ranch Projekt entwickelt Big Bar Gold zusammen mit Phelps Doge. Das Projekt liegt nur vier Meilen von der Ray Mine, die von ASARCO geführt wird, entfernt. Dieses Projekt beinhaltet ungefähr 1,4 Milliarden Tonnen kupferhaltiges Gestein mit einem relativ hohen durchschnittlichen Kupfergehalt von ungefähr 0,75 % Kupfer. Ein erstes Bohrprogramm soll im Juli 2006 gestartet werden und hat als erste Zielsetzung die Bestätigung der analogen Strukturen für ein riesiges Porphyry-System zur Aufgabe.

Das Yuma King Projekt bildet aktuell den Schwerpunkt der Aktivitäten, da das Unternehmen erst vor wenigen Wochen die endgültigen Genehmigungen zum Beginn eines Bohrprogramms mit mindestens 2000 Bohrmetern erhalten hat. Dieses Bohrprogramm wird von der sehr renommierten kanadischen Drilling Company Major Drilling durchgeführt. Einige der geplanten Bohrlöcher werden vor allem so genannte „Extensions“, also Verlängerungszonen des bekannten Erzköpers außerhalb der bereits vorhandenen Untertageerzgänge, antesten. Eine sich über 2 Kilometer erstreckende bereits nachgewiesene magnetische Anomalie erhöht die Wahrscheinlichkeit, zum erfolgreichen Auffinden weiterer ökonomisch abbaubarer Erzzonen überproportional.

Ziel des gesamten Programms ist es, die mögliche Gesamtmenge des vorhandenen Erzes von bisher knapp 525.000 Tonnen mit einem durchschnittlichen Kupfergehalt von etwas über 3 % Kupfer auf einige Millionen Tonnen zu erhöhen. Erste Studien ergaben bisher eine potentielle geologische Gesamtressource von 9 Millionen Tonnen Gestein bei einem Kupfergehalt von zumindest 2 % Kupfer.

Big Bar Gold Corp. has now filed a National Instrument 43-101 report respecting its Phelps Dodge joint ventured Troy prospect, comprising 152 unpatented lode mining claims and State of Arizona exploration permits located in Gila and Pinal counties, Arizona. The report was authored by Rick H. Russell, a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 of the TSX Venture Exchange.

There exists significant exploration potential at the Troy Ranch property for the discovery of a major copper deposit. Additional significant tonnage of lower-grade copper mineralization may exist in granodiorite in the hangingwall of the diabase target to the south. The Troy Ranch exploration model is analogous to the giant Ray copper deposit in that diabase hosts most of the copper mineralization at Ray with additional lower-grade mineralization in the adjacent granodiorite intrusions.
An analysis of geochemical data gathered by previous operators, primarily for copper but also molybdenum, shows that the anomalies are associated with the granodiorite, either along the southwestern edge of the Laramide intrusion in the contact zone with the Precambrian diabase or apparently associated with the east-west dikes in the centre and north portion of the intrusive.
The bulk of minable copper mineralization (plus 0.40 per cent copper) at the analogous Ray copper deposit occurs in reactive mafic biotitically altered Precambrian diabase sills. In plan view, the ore zone is horseshoe shaped. Secondary magnetite is common in the diabase high copper zone.
Big Bar has completed a high-resolution aeromagnetic survey on Troy. The survey was flown with an ultralight aircraft at low altitude with relatively close-spaced flight lines. A strong, horseshoe-shaped magnetic anomaly, indicating an abundance of magnetite, exists along the contact zone of Laramide Troy granodiorite with Precambrian diabase and sediments. Where the magnetic anomaly is associated with secondary biotite alteration along the northern contact of the Troy Granodiorite, a significant tonnage of 0.40 per cent copper may be developed.

In conclusion, the author recommended that a two-phase exploration program with budgets of $175,000 (U.S.) and $470,000 (U.S.) respectively be conducted to achieve the primary goal of the initial exploration program at the Troy Ranch property to discover copper resources in and adjacent to the Precambrian diabase in the north-central part of the property. In the phase 1 program, detailed geologic mapping and sampling across the diabase target area at a scale of 1:6,000 should be completed to obtain an accurate picture of the geology associated with the target. Deep-penetrating audio-frequency magneto telluric should be conducted to identify areas of strong sulphide in the subsurface potentially associated with copper mineralization. Dependent upon favourable results of the phase 1 program, a phase 2 core drilling program should be conducted to test targets defined by the geological and geophysical programs. A minimum of 6,500 feet (2,000 metres) of HX/HQ core is recommended in six to 10 holes.

BIG BAR CLARIFIES RESOURCE DISCLOSURE ON YUMA KING

Further to its Stockwatch news release dated Oct. 11, 2005, Big Bar Gold Corp. is providing additional details regarding the inferred mineral resource calculation respecting the Yuma King property located in La Paz county, Arizona.

An inferred copper resource was determined for the Yuma King mine using standard methods as per 43-101 guidelines. All data regarding distribution and grade of copper mineralization underground at the Yuma King are based on data provided to its qualified person, Rick Russell. The data consist of 1944 and 1950 reports by mining engineer J.S. Coupal and maps prepared by Rubicon Minerals Corp. in October, 2004. The effective date of the estimate was Sept. 30, 2005.

Mr. Russell constructed polygonal blocks with the distribution and orientation generally based on copper contour maps prepared by Rubicon. A cut-off grade of 0.90 per cent copper was used, which appears to be a natural cut-off grade based on observation of the sample grades in the underground workings. Of the 35 blocks constructed, 29 contain at least one assay sample. The assay data for 131 samples, represented in the data and on the mine maps, consist of ore car assays and panel sample and grab sample assays. Six polygonal blocks were constructed, which contain no sample data and which are a projection and/or extension of sampled mineralization, usually higher grade, in one or more adjoining blocks. A grade of 1.00 per cent is assigned to each of those six blocks. In the resource estimate, the average grade of each block containing sample information is the average of all the samples falling within a particular block. No grades were cut because the sample grades in any given area, or block, do not seem to spike. In other words, the high-grade samples (greater than 3.5 per cent copper) seem to cluster and are generally relatively consistent within a high-grade area. The height or thickness of each block is assumed to be 60 feet and fits well within the average 80-foot thickness of the altered limestone. The resource estimate is presented in short tonnes. A density factor of 11 cubic feet per short tonne is used in the estimate.

BIG Bar ist für mich eine der größten Chancen überhauüt am Markt. Wenn man sich etwas mit dem Thema beschäftigt und sich mal den Technical Report bißchen anschaut, da versteht man, was mit BIG BAR passieren kann!!!!


Ich bin sehr sehr optimistisch für Big Bar, Kupfer wird komischer Weise in Deutschland nicht so wie Gold oder Silber beachtet, was völlig verkehrt ist.

Kupfer ist besser gelaufen als Gold!!!!!!

Und Big Bar ist mit seiner Market Cap sehr güsntig!!!

Zudem ist das heute die erste Empfehlung zu der Aktie, ich denke das ist erst der Anfang!!!

Mist! Ich bin gerade erst aus dem Urlaub zurück gekommen. Ich denke auch, dass BBG eine riesen Rakete wird. Ich habe die schon lange auf meiner Watchliste.

Ich bin am überlegen ob ich mir 30.000 Stück ins Depot legen soll, was meint ihr? Ich glaube ja nicht, dass ich überhaupt noch welche bekomme!
