WorldWater & Power Corp. Signs Contract with Eagle Academy for Solar Power Installation for Arboretum Enhancement Project

At-Risk Youth to Learn Workplace Readiness Skills Building Solar Powered Irrigation System

PENNINGTON, N.J., April 27, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- WorldWater & Power Corp. (OTC BB:WWAT.OB - News), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, today announced the signing of a contract with the Eagle Academy of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. The contract calls for WorldWater to provide engineering, materials and supervision to assist at-risk youths in building a solar powered water pump to supply drinking water and irrigation at a 14-acre arboretum preservation site in Egg Harbor Township. This project is being funded by a grant from the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, which provides grants for solar energy projects in New Jersey

Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman of WorldWater & Power Corp. commented on the signing. ``These students will learn about solar power, gain valuable technical skills and help protect the environment with renewable energy through a team effort. New Jersey is fast becoming one of the solar energy capitals of the world. As noted earlier, WorldWater & Power recently signed a contract for a solar installation at the Liberty Science Center, the most visited science museum in New Jersey. Our industry will need more solar engineers and technicians, and the students at the Eagle Academy will get a valuable, practical education in solar electricity.''

In 1999, the Eagle Academy was founded by the Egg Harbor Township School District to serve the varied and unique needs of at risk youth, those falling through the cracks of the conventional educational system and dropping out of school. Since that time, the Academy has helped a large number of students graduate with a diploma. Much of this was accomplished with hands-on learning through community service projects.

Egg Harbor Township, a municipality in southern New Jersey, donated the site to the Egg Harbor Environmental Commission to provide open space for its 40,000 residents. In building the solar installation, Eagle Academy students will collaborate with the township's planning board, environmental commission, the Atlantic City Municipal Utilities Authority (ACMUA) and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. The Arboretum Enhancement Project is funded through a grant form the Geraldine Dodge Foundation.

Cassandra Kling, Director of Business Development, Eastern U.S., stated, ``We are so pleased to be able to partner with the school on this ambitious project. We look forward to helping the community with solar options, just as we do throughout New Jersey and the world.''
