DEVELOPMENT ON TRACK AND REVENUE SECURED
Refurbishment of the Fortnum Gold Project treatment plant progressing well
with commissioning due to commence next week.
Production scheduled to commence in the first week of July 2006 at a rate of
approximately 55,000 ounces per annum.
Flat forwards at a gold price of A$900/oz (over approximately 61,000oz; less
than 6% of the Company’s resource base) and A$800/oz put options (over
approximately 54,000oz) have been entered into to underpin the Fortnum
Gold Project.
Revenue in excess of A$50 million per annum has been secured for the first
two years of production.
Financial close and first drawdown on the Westpac Institutional Bank term
loan facility (up to A$6.35 million) to fund the Fortnum Gold Project pre
production and working capital is expected later this week.
Project development on track
Refurbishment of Gleneagle Gold Limited ( "Gleneagle" ) Fortnum Gold Project is progressing well with the majority of works now completed or nearing completion. It is expected that commissioning of the 1.0 Million tonne per annum treatment plant will commence next week, with first gold production slated for the first week of July 2006.
Production during the initial three (3) year mine life at the Fortnum Gold Project is forecast at
156,000 ounces based solely on open pittable deposits. Ore is to be sourced from the Toms, Yarlarweelor and Horseshoe deposits, plus a series of satellite deposits within close proximity of the treatment plant, including Eldorado and Ricks.
The mining contractor, Mining and Civil Australia Pty Ltd, has mobilised to site and commenced establishment and preparation for the start of mining. Mining is due to commence this week at the Toms and Eldorado deposits.
Revenue secured with A$900/oz flat forwards
Revenue for the Fortnum Gold Project has been secured with the Company having entered into a mix of flat forwards at a A$900/oz gold price and deferred premium put options at a A$800/oz gold price. The flat forwards cover approximately 61,000oz (representing less than 6% of the Company’s resource base), with deliveries scheduled over the first two years of the operation, while the put options cover approximately 54,000oz.
Approximately 63% of the first years production (some 37,000 ounces) is to be delivered into the flat forwards at A$900/oz, reducing to approximately 38% of production (some 24,000 ounces) in the second year of production. The balance of production will either be delivered into A$800/oz put options or the spot gold market. Forecast revenue for each of these years is expected to be in excess of A$50 million.
Financial close on the finance facility provided by Westpac Institutional Bank to fund the
resumption of production at the Fortnum Gold Project is expected later this week. The facility consists of a term loan facility of up to A$6.35 million to cover all estimated pre production and ramp up capital requirements and a working capital facility of A$1.0 million.
Exploration activity is continuing on the Company’s highly prospective 2,500 square kilometre Peak Hill Goldfield landholding, with a focus on the advanced targets and resources within close proximity of the Fortnum treatment plant as well as a range of earlier stage regional targets.
A recently completed RC and RAB drilling program tested targets at Durack, Toms, Eldorado and a number of prospects in the greater Fortnum area. Final results are awaited for this program. A program of shallow vacuum/RAB drilling is currently underway on a series of targets in the greater Fortnum area, whilst a large regional surface sampling program is set to commence in the near term.
Planning is underway for a major development/exploration phase targeting the Starlight Group of deposits (1.97 Million tonnes at 4.1 grams per tonne for 259,400 ounces), located adjacent to the existing Starlight – Twilight underground development, with this work scheduled to commence in the September 2006 quarter.
Gleneagle currently has:
- 1.04 Million ounces of resource,
- a 1.0 Million tonne per annum treatment plant,
- over 2,500km 2 of highly prospective tenements in the Peak Hill Goldfield,
- 69.6 million shares on issue (79.6 million shares post placement), and
- 18.8 million options on issue.
Yours faithfully

Project Review
Gleneagle Gold Limited’s strategy is to progress toward the recommissioning of its
wholly owned Fortnum treatment plant to support aggressive self funded exploration of
its highly prospective +2,400km2 landholding in the Peak Hill Goldfield of Western
Australia.
The Peak Hill Goldfield, located about 850 kilometres north of Perth, boasts modern
production in excess of 1.6 million ounces, whilst geological studies completed by
Gleneagle have identified a series of largely unexplored prospective corridors across the
goldfield.
The Company’s landholding in the goldfield is divided into three project areas:
• the 100% owned Fortnum Gold Project, including the well maintained 1.0Mtpa
Fortnum treatment plant and associated infrastructure,
• the 80 – 100% owned Peak Hill Regional Gold Project, and
• the Wembley Gold Project Joint Venture, in which Gleneagle is earning an 80%
interest.
Gleneagle’s Peak Hill Goldfield resource base currently stands at 1,045,300oz, which
when combined with ownership of the Fortnum treatment plant provides Gleneagle with
a competitive advantage in the district. All of the Company’s current resources are
located on granted Mining Leases.
The Company’s exploration activity in the 2005 financial year has generally focused on
advanced targets, with a bias toward prospects within the immediate environs of the
Fortnum treatment plant. A total of almost 19,000m of drilling was completed in this
period resulting in a total of just less than 40,000m of drilling since Gleneagle listed in
July 2003. This high level of activity has continued to deliver considerable exploration
success, with further near mine discoveries and upgrading of the groups global resource
estimate.
As a junior explorer Gleneagle is unique in its control of a portfolio of exploration
projects in the Peak Hill Goldfield ranging from resources and advanced, drill ready
prospects through to early stage conceptual targets. Gleneagle is committed to the use of
modern geological, geophysical and geochemical techniques to unlock the value in this
portfolio.

Ressourcen sorgen bei Gleneagle für „goldene Reize”

Dear Sir
RESOURCES EXCEED 1.0 MILLION OUNCES
Resource estimates for Gleneagle Gold Limited’s (“Gleneagle” Peak Hill Goldfield projects have
been updated, delivering a +50% increase to 13.1 Million tonnes at 2.5 grams per tonne for
1,045,300 ounces (previous resource 9.56 Million tonnes at 2.2 grams per tonne for 684,100
ounces). In excess of 1.0 million ounces of this resource are located within 30km of Gleneagle’s
wholly owned 1.0 Million tonne per annum Fortnum treatment plant, with the majority of this
located within 2.0km of the plant (see attached map).
Gleneagle has received results of resource estimation work completed by independent
consultants Resource Evaluations Pty Ltd. The updated resource estimates incorporate results of
drilling completed over the course of 2005 combined with Gleneagle’s enhanced understanding of
the geological controls in the immediate Fortnum area. Resource increases have been recorded
for Toms, Horseshoe, Nathans and the Starlight Group, while initial resource estimates have been
completed for Midnight, Dougies, Eldorado, Ricks and Sams. The attached table summarises the
revised resource position.
The Starlight Group of deposits (1.97 Million tonnes at 4.1 grams per tonne for 259,400 ounces)
are located beneath the Starlight – Trevs open pit and adjacent to the existing Starlight – Twilight
underground development. Extensive geological assessment, utilising 3D modelling and
structural analysis combined with historical exploration drilling and detailed open pit and
underground mapping, have been used in the estimation of the Starlight Group resource. The
delineation of this resource highlights the scope for the development of a substantial underground
operation at the Fortnum Project potentially utilising the existing Starlight – Twilight underground
development.
Pit optimisation and design work is underway on the Horseshoe, Toms, Yarlarweelor and Nathans
resources, with the aim of incorporating these deposits into a mining schedule in support of the
financing of the recommissioning of the Fortnum Gold Project. Treatment plant operating costs
and refurbishment capital cost estimates are being updated in conjunction with these mining
studies. The recommissioning study is due for completion in the current quarter.
Gleneagle is committed to the recommissioning of the Fortnum treatment plant to provide
cashflow to fund aggressive exploration of the Company’s highly prospective Peak Hill Goldfield
land holdings.
Gleneagle currently has:
• 1.04 Million ounces of resource,
• A 1.0 Million tonne per annum treatment plant,
• Over 2,400 square kilometres of highly prospective tenements in the Peak Hill Goldfield,
• 63.1 million shares on issue ($8.2 million market capitalisation at $0.13 per share), and
• 17.1 million options on issue.

The Board of Gleneagle Gold Limited (“Gleneagle” is pleased to advise that the refurbishment
and commissioning of Gleneagle’s wholly owned Fortnum Gold Project (“Fortnum” has now been
completed, with the first commercial gold pour taking place early this week. This initial gold
production was sourced from low grade stockpile material which was used for the commissioning
phase of the operation.
Fortnum production is expected to ramp up to design capacity during the current quarter, with
treatment plant throughput to increase to the forecast 1.0 Million tonne per annum rate and the
open pit mining contractor, Mining and Civil Australia Pty Ltd, to be operating at full capacity later
in July 2006. Ore Mining is currently taking place in the Toms and Eldorado open pits.
Exploration
Gleneagle will commence follow up drilling at the Forrest Gimp prospect in late July 2006. Forrest
Gimp is located approximately 12km south of the Fortnum treatment plant on the Peak Hill
Regional Gold Project Joint Venture (owned 80% Gleneagle, 20% Jackson Gold Limited).
Results of first pass drilling at Forrest Gimp, reported to the ASX in late June 2006 (i.e. 28m at
2.02g/t from 53m including 11m at 3.26g/t from 64m), identified a wide zone of ore grade
mineralisation associated with a previously untested geochemical anomaly. Subsequent shallow
vacuum drilling has defined a coherent +20ppb geochemical anomaly associated with this
mineralisation. Follow up drilling will consist of a series of step out RAB drill lines across the
geochemical anomaly along strike of the previously defined mineralisation.
Near term exploration activity in the immediate Fortnum area will consist of RC and RAB drilling of
a number of targets adjacent to the Toms deposit, whilst regional exploration will consist of
surface sampling in the Doolgunna/Frenchy’s area to the south east of Fortnum.
Gleneagle currently has:
• 1.04 Million ounces of resource,
• an operating 1.0 Million tonne per annum treatment plant,
• over 2,500km2 of highly prospective tenements in the Peak Hill Goldfield,
• 77.6 million shares on issue, and
• 18.7 million options on issue.
Yours faithfully
Ian Prentice

Dear Sir,
REGIONAL EXPLORATION SUCCESS
Results from recently completed wide spaced RAB drilling at a series of regional targets in the
greater Fortnum area have identified a significant, wide zone of mineralisation at the previously
untested Forrest Gimp prospect, located approximately 12km south of the Fortnum treatment
plant (see attached plan).
Gleneagle Gold Limited (“Gleneagle” has now received all results from the RAB drilling program
completed in May 2006. Drilling at the Forrest Gimp prospect, located on ground that is part of
the Peak Hill Regional Gold Project Joint Venture (owned 80% Gleneagle, 20% Jackson Gold
Limited), consisted of two lines of RAB drilling approximately 200m apart as a first pass test of a
geochemical anomaly.
The attached table details the exciting results for the RAB drilling completed at Forrest
Gimp. Summary intersections include:
FGRB014 19m at 1.30g/t from 1m
Including 2.0m at 2.39g/t from 16m
FGRB015 28m at 2.02g/t from 53m
Including 11m at 3.26g/t from 64m
This first pass drilling has:
• identified a broad mineralised zone associated with a previously untested
geochemical anomaly.
• intersected a wide zone of ore grade mineralisation that remains open along strike
and down dip and which comes to surface.
• confirms the outstanding prospectivity of Gleneagle’s Peak Hill Goldfield
landholding.
Drilling at the Forrest Gimp prospect intersected a deeply weathered package of variably
deformed and altered ultramafics and sediments under cover of up to 3.0m of lateritic material.
Mineralisation is associated with a broad west dipping zone of intensely sheared sulphidic altered
ultramafics, with areas of intense manganese alteration and quartz veining. The zone remains
open along strike to the south and at least 200m to the north, as well as down dip and comes to
surface in the vicinity of FGRB014.
Shallow geochemical drilling is being completed to assist in defining the potential extents of the
geochemical anomaly, which appears to be masked by shallow cover to the south, and the likely
strike of the mineralised zone. Follow up drilling to test the strike and dip extent of the zone is
being planned and will be completed as soon as practical.
Commissioning of the 1.0 Million tonne per annum Fortnum treatment plant is underway with first
production slated for early July 2006.
Gleneagle currently has:
• 1.04 Million ounces of resource,
• a 1.0 Million tonne per annum treatment plant,
• over 2,500km2 of highly prospective tenements in the Peak Hill Goldfield,
• 77.6 million shares on issue (post issue of 8.0 million placement shares), and
• 18.8 million options on issue.
Yours faithfully

Fortnum Plant: Production 705.000 oz
Labouchere: Res. 45.300oz, Prod. 108.700oz
Nathans: Resource 64.300oz, Production 67.600oz
Harmony: Production 221.000oz
Durack: 42.700oz
Peak Hill: Production 406.600oz
Three Rivers: Resource 129.000oz
Horseshoe: Res. 148.700oz, Prod. 91.800oz
Horseshoe Lights: Production78.706oz
Yarlarweelor: Resource 302.600oz
Toms: Resource 65.800oz
Starlight Group: Resource 259.400oz

My apologies xxxx, we have obviously been very busy of late and unfortunately I must have missed your earlier email.
I do normally try to respond to shareholder requests as promptly as possible.
With regard to our costs of production, Gleneagle has not disclosed its costs as yet as we are currently in the commissioning and ramp up phase. We would like to be able to reach steady state and make a more definitive analysis at that stage.
What we have said is that the feasibility study that we completed earlier this year indicated production costs of A$550 to A$600/ounce. This estimated cost delivers something like a 50% margin on our production and enables us to generate a substantial amount of cash, which we are confident will help us deliver on the promise of our goldfield with some major gold discoveries and the resultant mine life extension.
In the short term we expect that the production costs will be higher then the longer term average as we go through the commissioning and ramp up of the operation.

Dear Mr. Prentice,
my name is XXXXXXXXXXXX I recently bought XXXXXXX Gleaneagle shares on the good news related to your firm.
I´m now really troubled about some communication you had with a shareholders that shared the mail you sended him on a pubblic financial forum. In your mail was written that the production cost is going to be much higher than expected and going to climb to 550 A$ - 600 A$ /ounce. Are this number correct?! But now the real point of this mail: how are you going to reach the 24 millions A$ cash flow, as previously declared in the feasibility study, with such high production cost?
Looking forward for your answear,
Mr. XXXXXXXXXXXXX
Dear Mr XXXX
The production costs that you mention in your email below are consistent with the estimates contained within the Fortnum Gold Project feasibility study released in March 2006. This study also provided the estimated cash flow over the initial three year life of the project.
Gleneagle has put in place a series of forward sales which will ensure that we receive a gold price in excess of A$850/ounce for the next two years, thereby underpinning our cashflow forecasts.
