The Eastern Claim Block has historical resource of 80.45 million tons grading up to 44.5% TiO2 (Titanium Oxide) and 35.2% Fe (Iron) with up to 90% ilmenite.

The Western Claim Block is located adjacent to past producing titanium mines including Mine Bignell, Mine Coulombe, Bouchard, and Mine General Electric, which produced over 500,000 tonnes of ore.

The anorthosite host rocks of the ilmenite mineralization are occupying an oval area approximately 28 kilometres long underlying most of the Property area.

Rio Tinto’s iron and titanium plant in Sorel Tracey, QC is located 260 km from the Property.Rio Tinto’s titanium mine in Lac Tio, near Havre-Saint-Pierre is located approximately 850 km to the northeast of Sorel Tracy metallurgical complex and 600 km from the Saint Urbain Property.

      INTRODUCTION

The Saint Urbain Titanium and Iron Project consists of 71 claims covering approximately 4,125 hectares in two separate claim blocks located south of Saint Urbain in the eastern province of Quebec, Canada.

The nearest seaport is located 11 km to the south on the St Lawrence seaway which services ocean going vessels and nearby rail lines for both freight and passenger service. St Urbain is located in Quebec's Lake District and enjoys the economic advantage of being at the heart of the districts forestry and mining region. Electricity and water is also available locally.

      HISTORICAL RESOURCE ESTIMATES ::

The Eastern Claim Block has historical resource of 80.45 million tons grading 10.9% to 44.5% TiO2 (Titanium Oxide) and 23.66% to 35.2% Fe (Iron) at an average of 40% Ilmenite, estimated on the basis of 35 drill holes and interpretation of gravimeter and magnetometer survey anomalies. The ground geophysical survey on the Eastern Claim Block identified six anomalous zones (B, C, D, E, F, and H) trending north-south. The titanium mineralization zone starts from the surface and continues to a drilled depth of 91 m (300 feet), while the mineralization is open to this depth in some of the drill holes. The percentage of ilmenite varies from 10% to 90% with an average of 40%. The configuration of the mineralized body based on gravimeter survey results interpretation appears more or less continuous, but occurs mostly as impregnations of ilmenite in rock, disseminated deposits and dike-like or vein-like masses of higher grade ilmenite.

The Western Claim Block is located adjacent to past producing titanium mines including Mine Bignell, Mine Coulombe, Bouchard, & Mine General Electric, which produced over 500,000 tonnes of ore.

      PROPERTY GEOLOGY ::
The anorthosite host rocks of the ilmenite mineralization ore are occupying an oval area of 28 kilometres long underlying most of the Property area, and are intruding into the surrounding granite-diorite series rocks of Precambrian age.

The topography & physical properties of the mineralization appear favourable. The topographic slope on the main mineralized zones D and E is 20% to 40% with thin overburden, which can be favourable for a low cost rock stripping ratio in open pit mining.

      NEWS RELEASE

Gravity West Completes Transfer of Saint Urbain Iron and Titanium Claims in its Name and Staked More Strategic Ground in the Adjoining Area

Gravity West Mining Corp. (TSX-V: GRW) is pleased to announce that it has completed the transfer of Saint Urbain Iron and Titanium Property claims into its name. As per the option agreement dated July 31, 2008 (see news release of August 1, 2008), the Company completed necessary documentation and formalities to facilitate transfer of 33 mineral claims covering approximately 1,917.25 hectares in two separate claim blocks located south of Saint Urbain in Quebec.

After a review of the available historical geological and exploration data, the Company staked 152 more claims covering 8,832.74 hectares on the adjoining lands to the existing claims. This additional staking has brought the size of the Property to 10,749.99 hectares.

There are 9 past producing titanium bearing ilmenite mines and occurrences located on Gravity West claims and adjoining grounds. These occurrences are considered to have similarity in geological conditions, type of mineralization and mode of occurrence to Rio Tinto’s “Tio deposit” in the Havre-Saint- Pierre and other known titanium occurrences in the Grenville province.

The Property is mostly underlain by anorthosite-ferrodiorite massif which is host to iron and titanium bearing ilmenite rocks intruding into surrounding granite diorite series of Precambrian age. The purpose of additional land staking was to cover more strategic ground underlain by favourable anorthosite-ferrodiorite rocks which are one of the major sources of the world’s titanium minerals supplies.

Geologically the Property area is part of the Grenville Province where titaniferous magnetite, magnetite-ilmenite-apatite, and massive ferrian ilmenite deposits have been known since the mid-1850s but only the massive ilmenite “Tio deposit” in the Havre-Saint- Pierre anorthosite massif is currently mined. This deposit is owned by Rio Tinto.

Gravity West is planning an intensive exploration program for 2008-09 which includes airborne and ground geophysical surveys, ground prospecting sampling and mapping, trenching and diamond drilling. Based on the exploration results, various metallurgical tests will be carried out on the drill core and bulk samples from trenches.

Livio Susin, President of Gravity West, says: “We are pleased to have the Property claims in Gravity West’s name and to increase the size of our holdings. Our intention is to fast forward the implementation of an intensive exploration program to bring historical resource to NI43-101 compliant stage and ultimately to a bankable feasibility.”

Technical information in this news release has been reviewed by Afzaal Pirzada, P.Geo., VP Exploration of the company and a Qualified Person as defined in NI 43-101.

Gravity West Reports Assay Results of Massive Ilmenite Surface Samples, Averaging 42.08% Titanium Oxide and 52.73% Iron Oxide Totalling 94.81% from Saint Urbain Titanium Project

Monday October 20, 8:00 am ET

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 20, 2008 -- Gravity West Mining Corp. (CDNX:GRW.V - News) is pleased to announce that it has received surface samples results of massive ilmenite samples from the Saint Urbain Titanium Project indicating average 42.08% Titanium Oxide (TiO2) and 52.73% Iron Oxide (Fe2O3) with a combined average of 94.81% iron and titanium oxides. The samples were collected during a reconnaissance fieldwork program carried out from August 11-15, 2008. The purpose of the fieldwork was to assess the potential of the property as a titanium and iron exploration target, and to develop a phased exploration work program for bringing the historically reported 80 Million Ton (MT) resource to NI43-101 standards. During this fieldwork, different rock outcrops were observed, sampled and identified, including anorthosite which is an ilmenite host rock, and various tectonic features and trends which may potentially control the mineralization on the ground.

A total of 18 rock samples were collected out of which 11 samples were from massive ilmenite boulders and floats and the remaining 7 were from the representative rock units (anorthosite, granite-diorite, gneiss and limestone) on the property. Highlights of assays from massive ilmenite samples are presented in the following table.

Ilmenite is used for the production of titanium metals and titanium pigments. Titanium pigment has replaced lead in paint, paper and plastics applications worldwide.

Titanium metal, which is characterized by its high strength-to weight ratio, a high melting point and excellent resistance to corrosion is used in aerospace, military, industrial processes, desalination plants, nuclear reactors, automotive parts, medical devices, jewelry, eye glass frames and golf clubs.

The sample results show a general consistency in grades of titanium (range 40.32% to 43.63%) and iron (range 49.83% to 54.50%) oxides, and combined grade (91.31% to 97.94%) of both oxides. Undesirable constituents such as vanadium (0.15%), CaO (0.27%), Al2O3 (1.36), MgO (3.30%) and Cr2O3 (0.20%) are generally low.

There are a number of historical titanium mines and prospects located on the property and adjoining lands. The reported assays are also comparable to the reported grades from historical mines as shown in the following table.

The samples were collected by Afzaal Pirzada, P.Geo., VP Exploration and a director of the company. Rejean Gerard, P.Geo. of IOS Services Geoscientifiques Inc., QC also participated in the fieldwork for one day on August 13, 2008. Sample locations were flagged and coordinates were recorded on GPS using UTM 19 NAD 83 datum. The samples were placed in marked poly bags, sealed with zap straps, and shipped to the laboratory under controlled conditions. A witness sample of each rock sample was retained and is available for viewing. The samples were analyzed at ALS Chemex Laboratories in Vancouver using methods ME-ICP61 (33 elements four acid ICP-AES), ME-XRF06 (whole rock package), OA-GRA06 (LOI for ME-XRF06), and PGM-ICP23 (Pt, Pd, Au 30g FA ICP).

Based on the results of this reconnaissance fieldwork, Gravity West has planned a phased exploration program for 2008-09 which includes airborne and ground geophysical surveys, detailed ground prospecting sampling and mapping, trenching and diamond drilling. Based on the exploration results, various metallurgical tests will be carried out on the drill core and bulk samples from trenches.

Livio Susin, President of Gravity West, says: "The assay results are exciting and become more prominent when compared to the grades at Rio Tinto's Tio Mine as well as historical results on the Property and other adjacent past producing mines and prospects. Results suggest the potential of the Saint Urbain Property as a viable titanium exploration and mining target."

(TSX-V: GRW) is pleased to announce that it has received airborne geophysical survey data and interpretation report indicating 13 magnetic anomalies and four intense magnetic dykes all interpreted as first priority targets on the Saint Urbain Titanium Project. This survey not only confirms most of the historical geophysical survey anomalies but also identifies additional anomalies especially in the western claim block. A total of 506 line-kilometre helicopter borne magnetic survey was completed from October 3 to 6, 2008 over two claim blocks on the Property.

On the eastern claim block, a total of 8 magnetic anomalies (A1 to A5, and B2 to B4) were identified along two major faults (F1 and F2) indicating a possible structural control. These anomalies follow the trend of most of the historical gravimetric anomalies which were the basis of historical resource estimates on these claims. Two magnetic anomalies C1 and C2 are located outside the fault network. All these magnetic anomalies are interpreted as first priority targets.

It is also important to note that Anomalies A1 and A3 are located directly on Prospect du Pont Couvert and Prospect Bouchard respectively which are historical mines/prospects on the Property. Ilmenite outcrops were also identified by Girard (1958) on the location of anomaly A5 and B2. Two rock samples from anomaly A5 gave 37.8% and 35.7% titanium oxide during 1958 sampling.

On the western claim block, four magnetic anomalies were delineated and noted as D, E1, E2, and F, out of which E1, E2, and F are located on Gravity West claims. Anomaly D is interpreted to be located directly over the historical Mine Bignell located on adjacent claim to the Property. Anomalies E1 and E2 are showing the same pattern as anomaly D (intense and isolated) and are described in the survey interpretation report as “the best exploration targets obtained with this aeromagnetic survey”. Four intense magnetic dykes are also outlined on the western claim block and are considered as the first priority targets.

The survey was flown using a cesium split-beam total magnetic sensor in a stinger fixed to the helicopter, a positioning system including a GPS receiver and an OmniStar differential GPS navigation system, a radio altimeter and a GEM GSM-19 Overhauser magnetometer base station. The survey data was interpreted by Camille St-Hilaire, a consultant geophysicist from Quebec.

Based on the results of this aeromagnetic survey and reconnaissance fieldwork, Gravity West has planned a detailed ground prospecting, sampling and mapping program which will commence in the week of October 27, 2008. This program will help to pinpoint the location of drillholes and trenches for the next phase of exploration work on aeromagnetic targets.

Livio Susin, President of Gravity West, says: “I am very pleased with the progress of Gravity West exploration program for Saint Urbain Titanium Project. Potential of the project has increased with confirmation of the historical geophysical anomalies and addition of new targets (anomalies and dykes) identified in the aeromagnetic survey.”

About Saint Urbain Titanium and Iron Project

Gravity West is 100% owner of the Saint Urbain Iron and Titanium Property consisting of 185 claims covering approximately 10,749.99 hectares in two claim blocks located south of Saint Urbain in the eastern province of Quebec, Canada. The Property is located 1.5 km to the south of Saint Urbain town, approximately 130 kilometres northeast of Quebec City and is readily accessed via provincial route138. The nearest seaport is located 11 km to the south on the St Lawrence seaway which services ocean going vessels and nearby rail lines for both freight and passenger service. Rio Tinto’s iron and titanium plant in Sorel Tracey, QC is located 260 km south, via St. Lawrence Seaway.

The Eastern Claim Block on the property has historical resource of 80.45 million tons grading 10.9% to 44.5% TiO2 (Titanium Oxide) and 23.66% to 35.2% Fe (Iron) at an average of 40% Ilmenite, estimated on the basis of 35 drill holes and interpretation of gravimeter and magnetometer survey anomalies. These resource estimates were prepared by Titanium De St Urbain Inc., found in the Quebec Ministry of Natural Resources Report No. GM27753, dated April 20, 1972. The Western Claim Block is located adjacent to past producing titanium mines including Mine Bignell, Mine Coulombe, Bouchard, and Mine General Electric, which produced over 500,000 tonnes of ore.

The company's strategy is to develop the Saint Urbain Project to a feasibility stage through a phased exploration program, metallurgical testing, mine planning and development studies.

Qualifying statement on historical resource estimate

The historical resource estimate for the Property cited in this press release was prepared by Titanium De St Urbain Inc. in 1972, and is found in a report submitted with the Quebec Ministry of Natural Resources. The resource estimate was stated to be as "probable ore reserve”. The source of other resource estimates and grades were taken from Quebec Ministry of Natural Resources website. The company believes that the estimate is relevant to an appraisal of the merits of the Property because the estimate was based on the drilling and ground geophysical survey data available at that time, and because there is no evidence of any subsequent resource estimation work on the Property. No more recent data on resource estimates are available in the public domain. No work has been done by a qualified person to classify the historical resource estimate as a current resource or reserve. The company is not treating the historical resource as a current mineral resource or reserve. The historical resource estimate should not be relied on.

GRAVITY WEST ASSAY RESULTS, 34.08% TITANIUM OXIDE AND 47.48% IRON OXIDE FROM MASSIVE ILMENITE SAMPLES ON SAINT URBAIN TITANIUM PROPERTY

Gravity West Mining Corp. (TSX-V: GRW) is pleased to announce it received assay results from Saint Urbain Titanium Project. Assays from surface grab samples gave 34.08% Titanium Oxide (TiO2) and 47.48% Iron Oxide (Fe2O3) with a combined average of 81.56% iron and titanium oxides.

The Phase 2 fieldwork program in October 2008 consisted of geological mapping, prospecting and sampling over the recently identified airborne geophysical targets. A total of 36 surface rock samples were collected of which 13 were massive ilmenite samples coincident with six high priority geophysical targets.

An initial interpretation of the assay and fieldwork data indicates the following three types of titanium occurrences on the Property.

Targets A1 to A4, average assay of 38.1% Titanium Oxide and 49.52% Iron Oxide totaling 87.6% Titanium and Iron Oxides. These occurrences are located on the eastern side of the property, associated fault trending northwest – southeast with massive ilmenite lenses in a mylonitized anorthosite rock.

Target E1, average assay of 17.5% Titanium Oxide and 36% Iron Oxide totaling 53.5% iron and Titanium Oxides. These occurrences are located on the western side of the Property; mineralization is in the form of fine grained ilmenite.

Target F, average assays of 40.45% Titanium Oxide and 53.05% Iron Oxide totaling 93.5% iron and Titanium Oxides. These samples were of floats within the target area F associated with massive coarse grained ilmenite.

The assay results and type of ilmenite mineralization on Target F is comparable to the surface samples collected in August 2008 with an average of 42.08% Titanium Oxide and 52.73% Iron Oxide with a combined average of 94.81% iron and titanium oxides.

Samples were submitted to Corem Laboratories in Quebec. Sample locations were recorded on GPS using UTM 19 NAD 83 datum. The samples were placed in marked poly bags, sealed with zap straps, and shipped to the laboratory under controlled conditions. A witness sample of each rock sample was retained and is available for viewing; 6 blanks and 2 standard samples were also submitted for quality assurance and quality control purposes.

GRAVITY WEST MOBLIZES CREWS FOR GROUND GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY ON SAINT URBAIN TITANIUM PROPERTY

Gravity West Mining Corp. (TSX-V: GRW) is pleased to announce it has commenced a ground gravity survey on the first priority aeromagnetic targets E1, E2, and F on the Saint Urbain Titanium Project.

Géosig Inc. of Quebec is contracted to complete a 50 line-km of ground gravity survey on three high priority targets. The survey will consist of 100 m line spacing and 50 m stations totalling approximately 1,000 stations. Field crews were mobilized to the property on November 24.

The gravity survey currently in progress is using a Lacoste & Romberg G Model gravity meter. Field gravity readings are being taken every 50 m. Field data is linked to a base station established on site. Repeat readings will be taken as a proof of the integrity of the acquisition systems. Repeats consist of re-occupying a station of the previous days surveying. The positioning and levelling is being done with two Trimble RTDGPS (RTK Model R8GNSS) base station systems. A GPS base station is established with the on line service SCRS-PPP system.

Livio Susin, President of Gravity West, says: “I am pleased with the progress of our exploration program at Saint Urbain titanium project. We have collected significant amount of exploration data on the property within a short time frame which will help in moving this project forward.”

Gravity West Mining Corp. (TSX-V: GRW) is pleased to announce that it has commenced an airborne magnetic survey over 70 newly acquired claims in the northwestern part of the Saint Urbain Titanium Property. Subject to weather conditions, the survey is scheduled to start on Monday, December 08, 2008.

Geodata Solutions (GDS) Inc. of Quebec is contracted to complete a 541 line-km of airborne magnetic survey. Traverses are oriented north-south with a spacing of 100 metres and a mean terrain clearance of 40 m.

The survey will be flown using a cesium split-beam total magnetic sensor in a stinger fixed to the helicopter, a positioning system including a GPS receiver and an OmniStar differential GPS navigation system, a radio altimeter and a GEM GSM-19 Overhauser magnetometer base station.

Livio Susin, President of Gravity West, says: “After completion of this survey we will have airborne magnetic coverage for most part of the Saint Urbain Titanium Property. This data will not only be beneficial to get an overall picture of the area for titanium exploration but will also help in finding new targets, in addition to the existing first priority exploration targets on the Property.”

Gravity West Receives NI 43-101 Report on Saint-Urbain Titanium Property
      1/9/2009 (BAYSTREET NEWSWIRE)

January 9 2009 - Gravity West Mining Corp. (TSX-V: GRW) is pleased to announce that it has filed a NI 43-101 technical report ("the Report") with SEDAR on the Saint Urbain Titanium Property. The report is prepared by Sylvain Desbien, Ph.D., P.Geo., and Rejean Girard, P.Geo., of IOS Services Géoscientifiques Inc. and is also available on Gravity West's website at www.gravitywestmining.com.

A summary of the findings of the report is provided in the following paragraphs.

Gravity West obtained in 2008 mining exploration rights on a group of 250 map designated cells covering approximately 14,522.7 hectares in the historical ilmenite mining district of Saint-Urbain, Quebec. The ilmenite mineralization is associated to the St-Urbain anorthosite massif, an oval intrusive 18 km in diameter. That Middle Proterozoic intrusive and its ilmenite deposits were locally affected by a Late Devonian faulting event related to a major meteoritic impact.

The ilmenite deposits of St-Urbain were first discovered in 1666 and thus represent one of the first mining activities in Canada. About 500,000 tons of ore were extracted of open pit mines between 1871 and 1977. Known before 1880, deposits at Rivière du Gouffre, east of the main mining sector, have mainly been studied between 1956 and 1977.

In September 2008, an airborne geophysical survey commissioned by Gravity West identified series of geophysical targets. Targets A1 to A5 are along the Rivière du Gouffre, an area that has been the object of abundant exploration works and drilling programs. Known mineralization is reported to occur in metric lenses of massive ilmenite and dissemination in a highly fractured faulted zone of the anorthosite. Assays on the massive hemo-ilmenite samples collected by Gravity West on A1-A5 target gave 47.7% to 52.2% Fe2O3 and 36.7% to 39.6% TiO2. Targets B1 to B4 and C1 and C2 are located in gneissic terrains and are suspected as magnetite bearing only

Geophysical targets E1 and E2, in the northern part of the property, are located within the St-Urbain anorthosite, in a non-outcropping area. One large angular boulder (about 1 m) of massive finely granular ilmenite was found on E1, which assayed 32.0% to 41.1% Fe2O3 and 15.1% to 20.7% TiO2. Target F, also in a non outcropping area, occurs just west of the main mines sector.

The Saint Urbain area is located within an environmentally and socially sensitive area. It is within the UNESCO World Biosphere of Charlevoix, is adjacent to the south of a national park and east of a faunal reserve. The property is also adjacent along the Rivière du Gouffre, which is a patrimonial protected area. Finally, Gravity West mining rights are atop of privately owned lands and negotiations with the landowner will be required to get access to various areas of the property. Gravity West is well informed about these constrains and is determined to act proactively in this regard in respect of the local community.

The Saint-Urbain property benefits of favourable geological and historical contexts for discovery of new ilmenite deposits. A two phase exploration program has been recommended for the property where each phase is contingent upon the results of the previous phase. Phase 1 includes ground geophysics on priority aeromagnetic targets, airborne magnetic survey on recently acquired claims and ground prospecting, sampling and mapping. Phase 2 is a drilling program, if warranted, which includes 15 drill holes of 200 m each for a total of $1,000,000.

Livio Susin, President of Gravity West, says: "This NI 43-101 report is an important milestone for the Saint-Urbain Titanium Project which will help us to support future finances and to meet the regulatory requirements."
