LODGEMENT OF INFORMATION MEMORANDUM AND NOTICE OF MEETING AND NOTICE
OF REINSTATEMENT OF TRADING IN GRANGE SECURITIES

Attached is the Notice of Meeting, Information Memorandum and
Appendix 3B in relation to the proposed acquisition of Surfboard
Securities Limited, previously announced to ASX on 7 February 2000.

The general meeting to consider the business in the Notice of
Meeting will be held at 10.00am on Friday, 5 May 2000 at Level 14,
the Forrest Centre, 221 St Georges Terrace, Perth, Western Australia.

At Grange`s request ASX has approved the reinstatement of trading in
its securities on the official list of ASX commencing 8.00am (AWST)
on Tuesday, 4 April 2000.

The Notice of Meeting and Information Memorandum is expected to be
dispatched to shareholders on Wednesday, 5 April 2000. A copy of the
Information Memorandum will be available on the Company`s website at
www.grnl.com.au.

I think that lots of e-Mails reached you in the last three weeks according to the relistening of the company.
I am interested my self when the the share will be traded again...?
I guess that you have lots of work to do so I am sorry to ask you with my question (you already must get sick of this) but I just wana have information I can trust...

Grange securities will relist on ASX on Tuesday, 4 April 2000 (tomorrow) - an ASX announcement was made today and is available on our website - www.grnl.com.au.

das sind Neuigkeiten - Wunderbar. Habe mein Bier schon mal kalt gestellt, denn bei mir gibt es heute eine "Aussie - Nacht" :-)

Das muss ich einfach verfolgen, wie der Kurs sich nun entwickelt.

Sollte jemand Lust haben zu Börsenbegin in Australien dabei zu sein,
dann joint einfach im IRCNET den Kanal #grange.de ( habe ich einfach mal so angelegt ).

GRANGE TO RECOMMENCE TRADING ON ASX


Grange Resources Limited will recommence trading on the Australian Stock Exchange tomorrow morning (Tuesday 4 April 2000) following the release of a notice of meeting and information memorandum to shareholders in relation to the proposed acquisition of Surfboard Securities Limited.



The meeting is to be held on 5 May 2000.



Grange voluntarily suspended trading on the ASX on 3 February 2000 pending the announcement of the Surfboard investment.



The Directors of Grange are also considering a placement of up to 8 million shares at $1.50 per share with a one for two free attaching option to European institutional investors to raise $12 million.



Surfboard is developing and will market a financial services delivery platform which can be accessed via the Internet.



Surfboard’s sophisticated platform will offer substantial benefits to traditional financial market managers including stockbrokers (on and off line), personal bankers and financial advisers.



Its own multimedia site will offer a comprehensive range of services including an interactive call centre, information and research on market prices, risk modelling and innovative banking and investment products.



Grange Managing Director, Mr Adam Rankine-Wilson, said the Surfboard investment and change of company direction reflected the potential of the service provided by Surfboard and the skills of its management and staff.



The acquisition of all the securities in Surfboard, to be made in exchange for securities in Grange, comprises two components, which, in the first instance and based on the Company’s current issued capital, will provide Surfboard with 26.5% of all Grange’s issued capital.



Subject to Grange’s share price performing at agreed levels over a sustained period, the second component, which includes the issue of convertible preference shares, will allow Surfboard shareholders to increase their stake from 26.5% to 58.9% of Grange.



"Apart from the depth of technical skills and the planned range of products being developed by Surfboard, the Board and management team include executives with some of the highest media, finance and industry specific IT credentials in Australia," Mr Rankine-Wilson said.



The appointment of four Surfboard Directors, including Managing Director, Mr Don Hagans, to the Board of Grange and a change of name to Surfboard Limited, will also be considered at the shareholder meeting.



Surfboard will operate under its own brand and is expected to have products available within the first half of 2000.
