Stikine Gold Corporation: Sullivan Deeps SD3 Hits Hiawatha MarkerDrilling Update

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 6, 2007) - Stikine Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE:SKY) ("Stikine") announces that diamond drilling of its third exploration hole at the Sullivan Deeps Project recently reached a depth of 2,062 metres (m) (6,765 feet).

Project Manager, Paul Ransom, P.Geo., a Qualified Person under NI 43-101, has reported that the top of the "Hiawatha" marker was intersected at a depth of 2000.6 m (6,564 ft). The Hiawatha marker is a thick sequence of unique sedimentary marker rocks located stratigraphically 450 to 550 m (1,476 to 1,804 ft) above "Sullivan-time" where the famous Sullivan deposit occurs.

Normal coring operations will resume on or about March 14th, after a planned one week break for the drill crews.

The SD3 drill program is a continuation of Stikine's exploration for a sister deposit to the legendary Sullivan Mine, located near Kimberley, BC which operated for nearly a century until closing in late 2001. According to the Province of British Columbia, the Sullivan Mine produced approximately 17.5 billion lbs of zinc (Zn), 18.5 billion lbs of lead (Pb) and 298 million ozs of silver (Ag) along with other associated metals. Using current metal prices, Sullivan life-of-mine production would be valued at over US$40 billion.

Ich finde das Goldprojekt spannend, denn das Urangebiet ist klein, wenn Sie über 5% Urangehalt finden spielt das natürlich keine Rolle, aber die Wahrscheinlichkeit ist halt nicht so gegeben.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 26, 2007) - Stikine Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE:SKY) ("Stikine") announces that drilling of its third exploration hole at the Sullivan Deeps Project recently reached a depth of 2,424 metres (m) (7,952 feet).

Project Manager, Paul Ransom, P.Geo., a Qualified Person under NI 43-101, has reported that the hole has intersected the base of the Fringe Marker at a depth of 2,413 m (7,916 ft).

The SD3 drill program is a continuation of Stikine's exploration for a sister deposit to the legendary Sullivan Mine, located near Kimberley, BC which operated for nearly a century until closing in late 2001. According to the Province of British Columbia, the Sullivan Mine produced approximately 17.5 billion lbs of zinc (Zn), 18.5 billion lbs of lead (Pb) and 298 million ozs of silver (Ag) along with other associated metals. Stikine Gold Corporation: Sullivan Deeps Program Concluded

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - April 9, 2007) - Stikine Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE:SKY) ("Stikine" or the "Company") announces that diamond drill hole SD3 at the Sullivan Deeps project intersected a 0.4 metre interval of laminated and semi-massive sulphides, comprised primarily of uneconomic pyrrhotite, at a depth of 2,659 metres. SD3 was terminated on Friday April 6, 2007, in the Lower Aldridge formation at a total depth of 2,696 metres (8,845 feet), in geology clearly identifiable as Sullivan "footwall".

SD3 successfully reached its target depth and tested the centre of a sub-basin that also hosts the famous Sullivan Deposit and a large-scale geophysical conductor observed during down-hole UTEM4 geophysics completed by the Company in late 2004 and by others in 1996. As pyrrhotite is highly conductive, the relatively thin sulphide intervals encountered in SD3 and in previous drill holes is believed to account for the geophysical anomaly.

The Sullivan Deeps target has now been adequately tested and the Company will not conduct any future exploration at the project. Stikine will now focus its efforts on its other exploration projects, including the Huskie Uranium project in the Athabasca Basin, on which the Company is planning an airborne survey followed by prospecting and sampling this summer.
