FACILITIES FOR COMPANIES / ENTREPRENEURS / INTERMEDIARIES
The IFEXeurope website will allow companies, entrepreneurs or their intermediaries to present their business plans or investment proposal to an audience of selected investors. As soon as the website allows registration, you will be given an user-id and password. With these you can enter the website and fill in your investment proposal using the Business Plan Wizard. This wizard will help you to provide the fundamental answers investors are looking for in a business plan / investment proposal. The wizard has the option to upload various documents you may have already availble for this purpose.
A proposal can be presented on the IFEX website as a summary, or with a lot of details. In general the information can be shown in three levels of detail.
The first level is accessible on the website without user-id and log-in and therefor available for everybody who looks for investment opportunities. This level should contain only anonymous information like the outline of the proposal. It should trigger somebody to want to find out more about the proposal.
The second level of detail can only be seen by a selected group of investors; those who have registered and are accepted as member of IFEX. As part of their registration process they have accepted the non-disclosure terms.
The third level of information will only be made available to a specific investor after this investor has requested such information and the 'owner' of the investment proposal / business plan has agreed to make this level of information available to this specific investor. A signed NDA will be exchanged before the information is made accessible.
The IFEX staff will evaluate the investment proposals submitted to them before they are put on the IFEX website. They may also select some of them and support them in their quest for raising money.
Strict selection process
Selection of business plans to be promoted on the Innovation Finance platform is done by IFEX' partner CICOM. Each plan needs to pass an initial assesment and due diligence/screening. The selection of deals follows a sequence of selection phases.

1. Introduction
Cicom Organisation was created in 1995 to manage and run the Advanced International Communication Centre (CICA) in Sophia Antipolis, for the account of a regional administration following a European call for proposal. Cicom Organisation successfully managed this centre between 1995 and 2000. The number of companies accommodated at CICA during this period rose from 9 in 1995 to 60 in 2000, and the number of jobs created rose from 80 to 640.
Cicom Organisation is a private company that combines French, European and world leaders in the sectors of facilities management and state of the art information technology:
o ANTIPOLIS, an innovation centre managing company.
o CORUS, a service and consulting company in the following sectors: information technology, programme and scientific animation in the Information and Communication Technology Sector (ICT).
With 10 international experts in information technology and telecommunications, holder of an award in the Internet field (Best European Business Award for its employment web site in 1996), Cicom Organisation deploys its knowledge and skills in France, Europe and the United States and participates in numerous European Projects.

2. Historical
In 1998, Cicom Organisation was named a member of the European Business and Innovation Centre Network. It received the label 'BIC' (Business and Innovation Centre) conforming with the 18 quality criteria for incubators (advice on: setting up a company, financial issues, transfer of technology, internalisation, access to finance …). Today this network has more than 160 BICs in 21 countries around Europe.
Cicom Organisation has received numerous European awards for its work in the development of innovative companies: special prize of "EUROLEADER" from the jury in 2000 and Champion of Europe in Innovation by the European Commission in 2000 and 2002.
Since 2001, Cicom Organisation has been managing the European Telecom Innovation Center (ETIC) in partnership with Lucent Technologies. This 2300m² centre specialises in mobile communications. Since 2000, Cicom Organisation has been also managing the incubator, Antipolis Internet Campus, in Sophia Antipolis. In 8 years, Cicom Organisation has accompanied more than 150 companies.
Finally in 2002, Cicom Organisation became a member of the European Space Incubator Network (ESINET), the leading European network in the field of aerospace. The aim of ESINET is to transfer technology and knowledge from the space industry into other economic sectors, thus stimulating the creation of new profitable SMEs in Europe.

SENTEGRA
JJJon Shore, American founder of Sentegra (www.sentegra.com), a secure wireless transaction system start-up based in Germany, first visited Sophia-Antipolis & CICOM Organisation incubator on March 31st 2005.
Being aware of the Euro-office practice offered by CICOM Organisation, Sentegra benefited from a fully furnished office for one week in order to prospect the French market. Jon Shore used the Welcome package as well including full secretarial services, flat rental, car rental, etc. on top of Euro-office.
After just 1 month, Sentegra was setting up in Sophia-Antipolis to develop its market in France. Sentegra hired 3 unemployed executives to work in the company for 6 months in the framework of “Sophia s’ouvre aux Projets”. This was very beneficial for the company as at the end of the 6 month placement, Sentegra hired the 3 executives on long-term contracts and was able to hire 6 more persons. As a result, “Sophia s’ouvre aux projets” resulted in the creation of 9 jobs for one only start-up. It allowed Sentegra to develop its business enough to have the right impulsion to create nine jobs.
Finally, to raise capital, Jon Shore has met several Venture Capitalists and Business Angels thanks to the best practice Early Stage Financing and CICOM’s networking.

In 1998, Cicom Organisation was named a member of the European Business and Innovation Centre Network. It received the label 'BIC' (Business and Innovation Centre) conforming with the 18 quality criteria for incubators (advice on: setting up a company, financial issues, transfer of technology, internalisation, access to finance …). Today this network has more than 160 BICs in 21 countries around Europe.
Cicom Organisation has received numerous European awards for its work in the development of innovative companies: special prize of "EUROLEADER" from the jury in 2000 and Champion of Europe in Innovation by the European Commission in 2000 and 2002.
Since 2001, Cicom Organisation has been managing the European Telecom Innovation Center (ETIC) in partnership with Lucent Technologies. This 2300m² centre specialises in mobile communications. Since 2000, Cicom Organisation has been also managing the incubator, Antipolis Internet Campus, in Sophia Antipolis. In 8 years, Cicom Organisation has accompanied more than 150 companies.
Finally in 2002, Cicom Organisation became a member of the European Space Incubator Network (ESINET), the leading European network in the field of aerospace. The aim of ESINET is to transfer technology and knowledge from the space industry into other economic sectors, thus stimulating the creation of new profitable SMEs in Europe.

Diese Finanzierung stellt die größte abgeschlossene Haupterhöhung für einen MCC globalen Klienten in der Geschichte der Firma dar. Globale MCC hat eine erhebliche Bargeldgebühr in Zusammenhang mit der Verhandlung empfangen.
MCC Securities, Inc., ein Vermittlerhändler genehmigte durch die Vereinigte Staaten finanzielle Industrie, die Aufsichtsbehörde (Nachfolger zum NASD) als der finanzielle hauptsächlichberater zu den Fähigkeit Betriebsmitteln für diese Verhandlung diente. ("MCC Global" or the "Company")(Frankfurt: IFQ2), the global private equity investment and advisory company, announced today that Ability Resources, Inc., a US-based healthcare reinsurance provider and client of MCC Global, has closed and funded a $300 million financing commitment. This financing represents the largest completed capital raise for an MCC Global client in the Company's history. MCC Global has received a substantial cash fee in connection with the transaction.
MCC Securities, Inc., a broker-dealer licensed by the United States Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (successor to the NASD) acted as the principal financial advisor to the Ability Resources for this transaction. Commenting on the transaction, Robert Roach, head of MCC Securities, stated: "We are pleased to announce the closing of such a substantial financing transaction which highlights the effectiveness of our corporate finance team in the US. With our current deal pipeline, we look forward to executing additional corporate finance assignments in the future with the commensurate generation of significant fees to enhance shareholder value."
