As I understand it all shares bought via Frankfurt are held via an entity of Deutsche Bourse which then holds them via australian custodian service provider, ANZ Nominees Ltd (the custodian service of one of Australia's largest banks). ANZ Nominees is able to take up your rights as it is the legal holder of the shares. I would suggest you make contact with Deutsche Bourse regarding your entitlement.
Auf meiner ORE-Wertpapierabrechnung (VR Bank) stand u.a.:
Verwahrart: WR Australien

Lynas Corporation investors pump in $285 million
Lynas Corporation (ASX:LYC) has received a massive show of support from institutional investors for a substantial capital raising, despite the jolt it took late last month when China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co pulled out of a proposed major equity investment.
Institutions have committed a $285 million slab of the rare earths aspirant’s planned $450 million capital raising, with the retail component (which is fully underwritten) slated to make up the difference.
Sydney-headquartered Lynas reported that the institutional placements were heavily oversubscribed with strong demand from new and existing Australian and international institutional investors. The new shares are expected to be issued on October 13.
China Nonferrous Metal Mining shocked the market when it terminated the proposed $522 million funding agreements with Lynas, including the acquisition of Lynas shares equivalent to 51.6% of the company’s expanded issued capital.
The Chinese mining and refining group cited the additional ownership restrictions Australia’s Foreign Investment Review Board slapped on the deal for its decision.
