      MAVERICK ENERGY GROUP

      January 16, 2007

Maverick Continues To Astound With 3rd Quarter Results Up 25%

Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Maverick Energy Group (OTC: MKGP) recently announced its 3d quarter results up an astounding 25%, bucking the trend of many smallcap oil and gas companies that seem to endlessly explore without producing returns to its shareholders.

The earnings release read in part, "Maverick Energy Group, LTD (MKGP.PK) (Maverick) is pleased to announce the results of its third quarter earnings. The gross revenue for the third quarter ending September 30, 2006 was approximately $1,174,000. The net income for the same period is approximately $201,000. The gross revenue is in excess of a 25% increase from the second quarter and the net income is a 36% increase over the second quarter net income.

A company trading on the pink sheets with earnings continuing to trend up has got to be one of the value plays of the year at $0.04. We believe if the stock is purchased anywhere below a minimum of $0.15 in can prove to be extremely profitable for the investors

Maverick is the sole operator of, and owns an 11.5% interest in, the Big Foot Field, originally developed by industry giant Royal Dutch Shell and subsequently sold in the early 90s. According to company, a well respected independent engineering firm assessed the reserves of this field in January 2006. For the remaining net oil reserves of 229 developed producing wells, 1,279,917 barrels were estimated. For the remaining net oil reserves of the proven undeveloped properties yet to be drilled, 8,424,005 barrels were estimated. Based on conservative valuations, net revenue from the producing properties is expected to exceed $38,000,000 and future net revenue from the undeveloped properties could be in excess of $353,000,000.

These are pretty large figures for tiny Maverick, who has an option to acquire an additional 13.18% in the Bigfoot Field for an exercise price of $750,000. Although Maverick would have to exercise this option in a relatively short period (before January 17, 2007), it seems a fortuitous deal considering the additional 13.18% would give the company revenues from an additional 166,000 producing barrels and potential revenue from over 1M additional barrels still undeveloped in the ground.

Z2, whom Maverick is a member of, recently closed a $40,000,000 credit facility with Gasrock, LLC of Houston, Texas to further develop the Big Foot Field. These funds should greatly increase the likelihood of tapping into some of that undeveloped revenue potential, and will directly benefit Maverick as a stakeholder in the Field.

The total revenue picture could be quite lucrative for Maverick, promising total revenue of over $90,000,000 with their exercised option in Z2 and provided the undeveloped properties are eventually revenue-producing. Given its current capitalization of just over $5M, Maverick appears to be trading at a heavy discount to a company that could potentially have revenues per share of nearly twenty times its current market price. With current net earnings about 16% of revenues, Maverick could conceivably be earning $14.4M dollars, or about $.11 per share, within the next few years.

With management expecting increased net earnings for the second half of 2006, it may only be a matter of time before the larger speculative community finds Maverick. In the meantime, it certainly warrants serious consideration for a microcap oil and gas company that’s actually making some green.

      MKGP Due Diligence -

To understand Maverick (MKGP) you must first understand how they are diversified and structured. The Financials and Press Releases by Maverick reveal they currently hold a 25% interest in two separate drilling programs in West Virginia, a 12.5% interest in an unidentified horizontal drilling program, and a 11.517% interest in a private Oil and Gas company called Z2, the owner of the lease referred to as the Big Foot Field. Along with the 11.517% interest in Z2, Maverick also holds an Option to increase this interest to 24.7% by July 17th, 2007 for a cost of $1,000,000. In addition to Maverick holding an interest in three separate drilling programs and one private company, what is also important to note is that Maverick is the paid Operator of the Big Foot Field.

By searching the Nevada state records, you discover Maverick itself was once a private company. Maverick was incorporated on November 15th, 2000 which was well before it conducted a reverse merger with Pinnacle Group Unlimited in March of 2006. Because Maverick operated as a private company since November 2000, it is hard to determine the source of all their revenue because all we have been made aware of are the activities and developments that have taken place since the reverse merger. What you can tell about this profitable company is that they already have very strong financials for a Junior Oil and Gas Company and that from the recent PR’s we can also see the tremendous growth they should enjoy over the coming years.

For the period ending September 30th 2006
      1. Maverick saw an increase in Revenue of 25.6% from the previous Quarter.
      2. Maverick saw an increase in Net Profit of 36.2% from the previous Quarter.
      3. Maverick reduced Total Liabilities by 16.1% from the previous Quarter.
      4. Maverick increased Stockholder Equity by 60.2% from the previous Quarter.

Financial Data from Quarter Ending September 30th 2006
      Total Revenue............................$1,173,936
      Net Income................................$200,752
      Total Liabilities........................$1,691,760
      Stockholder Equity.....................$582,192

Financial Data from Quarter Ending June 30th 2006
      Total Revenue............................$934,589
      Net Income................................$147,387
      Total Liabilities........................$2,016,276
      Stockholder Equity.....................$363,340
      http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/finance.jsp?symbol=MKGP

      West Virginia
Maverick owns a 25% interest in two drilling programs in West Virginia. During April 2006, Maverick released they had successfully drilled four new gas wells in West Virginia, unfortunately we don’t know how many wells may have existed before the reverse merger if any. What we do know from the 2006 PR is that Mavericks 25% interest in just these four wells together will generate $200,000 annually towards Maverick. Maverick also mentioned in the 2006 PR their intention to drill an additional 25 gas wells in which we could hear more on soon. If they were to be successful in drilling 25 more gas wells which all produced at the rate of the previous four, we could be looking at an additional $1,250,000 annual revenue from low cost gas wells. Keep in mind they hold 50 gas leases in West Virginia so there seems to be potential for even more wells to be drilled in the future.

      Horizontal Drilling Program
Maverick owns a 12.5% interest in an unidentified horizontal drilling program. This 12.5% has been a mystery thus far as Maverick has released very little information on this drilling program. Below I have copied the content from a PR Released during May 2006 which gives us about the only information we know about this 12.5% interest. From the wording of this PR, I believe we can safely assume their already existed wells on this mystery property and perhaps this is one of the sources of revenue we do not know the details or potential of since the 12.5% interest in this drilling program existed before the reverse merger. Because we know so little about this drilling program and it’s potential, perhaps we may be surprised sometime during 2007 as to how much potential growth this program may offer Maverick. Their does seem to be a lot of hidden potential here as 12.5% of 100 barrels per day at the current price of $55 per barrel would generate revenue towards Maverick of $250,938 per well. The big question here is how many wells are we talking about?

”Maverick Energy is pleased to announce that a rig has been moved on to the first lease of two Horizontal Drilling sites. Maverick will be utilizing its proprietary Horizontal Drilling technology to re-enter and drill horizontally on the first of two targeted locations. Maverick has a 12.5% working interest in these wells as well as a contract to drill two producing and one disposal well on the target leases. Once production is established, Maverick will become the operator of the wells. Based upon expected production from the targeted zones, production from each well could exceed 100 barrels of oil per day.”

Z2 / The Big Foot Field
Maverick owns an 11.517% interest in privately held Z2, the owner of the Big Foot lease, with an option to increase this interest to 24.7% by July 17th. What is important to note here is that Maverick is the Operator of the Big Foot Field and gets paid for doing so.

The first thing to understand here is that Maverick holds an interest in Z2 and not in Big Foot. Well what does this mean? What this means is that Z2 pays to develop this property and not Maverick. Well what is the significance of that? The significance is that there is no risk to shareholders in the way of convertible debt and such to develop this particular field which will cost millions. The only cost to Maverick should only be what is spent to obtain additional interests in Z2.

Currently we have an 11.517% interest with an option to purchase an additional 13.184% in Z2 for $1,000,000. Because MKGP is already profitable, it is possible that Maverick may pay cash from operations to complete this option or they may elect to raise the money by the issuance of shares or even a combination of both methods. If Maverick was to do so by the issuance of shares at say the lower end of the most recent trading range or say 5 cents, the dilution for this transaction would be minimal at only 20 million shares.

A history of the Big Foot Field was described during a 2006 interview that was conducted with CEO James McCabe. Mr. McCabe stated in this interview the Oil Field was previously owned by Royal Dutch Shell. Shell shut down the field during the late 80’s during a time where oil had dropped down to a cost of $10 - $12 a barrel which made the field no longer cost effective to operate. At the time Shell shut down the field, the existing wells were producing at a combined rate of almost 1,000 barrels per day through water injection.

Maverick is aggressively developing this field as we speak. Maverick is performing both workovers of existing wells along with drilling new proven undeveloped wells. First I will discuss the workovers and then I will move onto the proven undeveloped wells.

      Workovers
Currently Maverick is performing a workover program of the existing wells with the goal to bring the existing wells back to the rate of production just before Shell had shut down the field. Maverick issued a PR on January 17th, 2007 which told us the progress of the workovers and projected that upon the completion of 22 workovers they anticipated the field to increase production by 20% or a rate of 300 barrels a day. The PR also stated there were 240 revenue producing wells in this field. If that is the case, then the existing 240 wells were previously producing approximately 250 barrels a day before any workovers had been completed. From the information that has been revealed so far, I will show below what I expect we will see if Maverick is to complete a workover on the remaining 218 wells.

250 barrels per day / 240 existing revenue producing wells = 1.042 barrels per day per well

If 22 workovers is to produce a 20% increase from 250 barrels per day to 300 barrels per day then -

50 bbl's / 22 wells equals an average increase in production from each workover well of 2.273 barrels per day

2.273 increase per well + previous 1.042 bbl's per day = 3.315 average bbl's per day per workover well.

      240 workovers x 3.315 barrels per day = 796 barrels per day

      796 barrels per day x $55 a barrel x 365 days in a year = $15,979,700

This rate is not quite the rate Shell was producing but there does remain the 60 wells that are not producing and perhaps a workover is all that is needed to bring those wells online? What makes these low production rate wells significant is that there is not the associated cost of drilling these wells which generally would cost in excess of one million per well. The other thing that makes them significant is that there are so many of them which together could generate a total of $15,979,700 annually.

Now the $15,979,700 does not go directly to Maverick but to Z2. The significance to Maverick is that they are being paid to conduct the workovers, there is no cost or risk to Maverick shareholders, and we receive 11.517% of Z2’s net earnings or 24.7% after completion of the option. No matter how you look at it, our interest in Z2 and as the operator of Big Foot is all profitable.

A recent report produced by MicroCap Reports had used what they stated as a conservative figure to determine how much Maverick would generate through Z2. MicroCap Reports speculated 50% of the revenue generated at Big Foot would be retained as net earnings. If that is the case then –

$15,979,700 future potential x 50% = $7,989,850 net earning for Z2 of which Mavericks portion would be at 11.517% $920,191 annually or at 24.7% $1,973,493 annually. This should be pure profit to Maverick with no costs associated.

      PUD’s
Though I have shown the value in the workovers, these existing wells were already depleted by Shell many years ago. What is of more significance and value is the 200 PUD’s (Proven Undeveloped Properties). Maverick has told us that the Big Foot lease also contains 200 PUD’s in which we recently completed two of these PUD’s and expect to have these two new wells on line by the end of January. Because these wells are new and have not already been depleted, we should expect a greater flow rate than the wells previously operated by Shell. It is hard to put a dollar value on these wells until the PR comes out announcing the flow rate but MicroCap Reports had recently speculated an average of 10 barrels per day.

MicroCaps had also stated that Maverick would attempt to average two new PUD’s per month while MicroCaps speculated on the conservative side that Maverick would only complete 20 wells per year. These 200 wells give Maverick tremendous upside growth value going forward. If they are to successfully drill all 200 of these wells say over the course of the next 10 or 12 years, Z2 could be looking at a revenue stream based off current oil prices of $40,150,000 annually only from these PUD’s.

By using the speculative figures from MicroCaps as we did earlier on the workovers, we can speculate what this may mean to Maverick in the future and once again I will remind you that this is at no cost and no risk to shareholders and actually Maverick gets paid to drill these wells.

$40,150,000 annually x 50% = $20,075,000 net earning for Z2 of which Mavericks portion would be at 11.517% $2,312,037 annually or at 24.7% $4,958,525 annually. This should be pure profit to Maverick with no costs associated.

      Gas
The last thing I will mention about the Big Foot Field is the gas. On Jan 19th Maverick announced that they would be bringing online a gas gathering system. They stated that they anticipated 300MCF – 500MCF per day. What I don’t know, which is what it sounds like to me, is if the gas is coming from all the wells or just the two recent PUD’s. I suspect that Shell had already harvested all the gas from the preexisting wells so I suspect the gas is coming only from the two new wells. If that is the case then Maverick could be looking at a significant addition to the revenue it will generate through it’s ownership of Z2 as each of the 200 wells is drilled.

I hope all of this information is helpful for everyone to see the value in Maverick going forward right now. I believe Maverick has tremendous growth opportunities at a limited cost. In my opinion this is a long term investment only because it appears Maverick will continue to see extensive growth both in net profit and revenue each year which should continue to increase the value of the stock each year. Keep in mind that for the most part much of this is speculative, some of these projected figures may increase or decrease in the future as the company releases more detailed information. With the information available at this time, I have done the best I can to help us all get a glimpse of where this company may be heading.

What we are looking at is a perfect symmetrical triangle formation where the you can drawl a line across the peaks of the recent days and the lows of the recent days to form this triangle. The trading pattern in this symmetrical triangle gets narrower each day to where it eventually will come to a point, by drawing the lines you see the stock will come to a point in about three days at about 7 cents. Once any stock comes to this point, they often become very explosive one way or the other. Considering MKGP is profitable, has news and updates that will come out any day now, another profitable financial release on the way, and that we are just entering the hottest season for oil stocks, I expect we could see MKGP explode upward in the next three days or so.

Here are a few more items with certainty to look forward to in the next 30 - 45 days -

      1. Fracture and flow rate on the third well.

      2. Commencement of drilling of the fourth well.

      3. The gas line coming on line along with the flow rate and initial sale of natural gas to the market.

      4. Most important, the release of Q4 financial's which should once again reflect growth in revenue and profit.

As you can see, the only place this stock should continue to go is up. As you can see, our chart may look a lot like the HMGP chart by the end of March. Now if MKGP put out some sort of a PR on the drilling for more gas in West Virginia or more information on their vertical drilling program then the news would be huge and unexpected. Also remember that we still have an open option to increase our ownership in Z2 to 24.7%.

MicroCap Reports sent out an e-mail alert this morning -

      Maverick Energy Group, LTD Announces

Production from the Drilling of two Wells

      MKGP Announces

Encouraging Production From First Two Wells

      .
The first well's initial production is averaging 17 Barrels of Equivalent Oil (combined oil and gas production) and the second well's initial production is averaging 30 barrels of Equivalent Oil.

In addition, the third well has been successfully drilled and is scheduled for fracture and completion the last week in February.

"Maverick is very pleased with the initial production on the two wells and looks forward to continued success on the next wells which are currently being drilled and completed " stated Jim McCabe the CEO of Maverick.
Exciting Results from The 1st Two Wells

We are very excited about the results about the production results from wells 1 & 2. MKGP continues to produce results that will add their bottom line.
Although the stock has been somewhat quiet the past several trading sessions, we see that as very encouraging for further price movement to the upside.
Our observations show selling has all but dried up and there appears to be very little stock available at these prices. With that being said we believe we are poised for a solid upside movement with the release of these very promising results.
We have said it in our last 2 newsletters and we stand by our assessment that the stock will see $0.10 in the very near future, with a clear run to $0.15 shortly thereafter. Our short term target of $0.25, we believe will be achievable in the next 90 days with our long term target of $1.25 to be reached in the next 12 to 18 months.
If you own it, stay with it! If you don't the time has come to accumulate now. We believe it is time to become aggressive
      Rumors Abound

As with all stocks that are in play the rumor mill on this one is no different. We deal in facts and information that can be verified so we will not repeat any of the rumors we have heard as far as MKGP is concerned, and my dear readers we have heard many.
If any of the rumors turn out to be accurate our targets will be low. If they are false our targets are still very much in the running to prove out in the time frame we suggested.
The fundamentals and technicals are strong enough to warrant our targets.

MKGP Due Diligence #2 (NEW) –

Note: If you have not already read DD #1 then I strongly suggest you do so first.
      http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=1…

      The Road of Two Journeys:

      The First Journey
To help understand the value going forward for the shareholders in MKGP, I want to take you on two separate journeys. Typically when we invest in a penny stock with a core business in Oil & Gas we are focused on a few particular fundaments of a company. A few of the items we focus on includes how many shares are issued and outstanding, what is the float, what is the revenue, what are the liabilities or debt, how much is the net profit or in most cases the net loss, and finally as we grow comfortable with those items then we want to know what is the potential going forward.

The share price of a stock generally does not reflect what it is worth today but instead the share price most often reflects what investors believe a stock will be valued at down the road. If a stock is profitable with good fundamentals and value going forward then it most often trades way ahead of current value. If a company is not profitable, is bleeding money, is debt heavy, and the future looks grim then it often trades well below current value.

A typical road selected by many of us Oil and Gas penny stock investors is to select a company that meets our requirements from the list I gave earlier. At that time there are two things that stand out to us, the first one is the potential of the stock going forward based off huge reserves, most often unproven reserves, that only need to be developed. The second thing that stands out to us after review of the financials is the cash position or lack of cash to develop these reserves.

For some reason we tend to ignore the second item and try our best not to think about it as we somehow believe someone is just going to give them free money to develop the lease. Instead we tend to focus our attention on the value of the reserves and how much revenue the well will generate if they are successful in drilling. We think of this as if they are going to pull all the oil out of the ground at once. In the back of our mind we think for a moment, how are they going to pay for this? Well we really don’t want to think about that so we quickly change the subject back to how much revenue will this new well generate. Then for a moment we wonder how long will it take for the company to actually show a profit from the well after carrying out the drilling costs associated with the new well and the cost of production. Well that doesn’t sound too good either so we go right back to how much revenue the new well will generate and we pretend it is all net profit.

Time passes as they set a date to drill the well, lots of volume but the stock begins to struggle under heavy selling pressure, you wonder to yourself who in their right mind is selling shares just before they drill this new well. They start drilling and yet their still continues to be some idiot out there selling an endless supply of shares. Then all of a sudden some investors thinks he has it all figured out, the stock is being naked shorted!!! Well, we have all heard that one before. Then a savvier investor picks up the phone and calls the Transfer Agent only to find that the O/S has already increased by 33% from where it was just a short while back. Now this savvier investor finally accepts the fact the company had no money to drill the well and thus came the dilution and convertible debt. Next this perfect stock pick announces another well they plan to drill. The savvier investor thinks to himself that this dilution will never end and exits the stock while the others in denial continue to complain how the stock has been naked shorted and in most cases the end result is a reverse split in which everyone unfortunately loses except the company.

      MKGP - The Second Journey:
Maverick is a different investment than the typical Oil & Gas penny stock. The difference really starts with the structure of the management team. A typical Oil & Gas penny stock has a management team of either oil guys or it is a company that was in say the software business and as they realized the hot sector was Oil & Gas then they changed their business model and entered the Oil & Gas sector though not one of them knew the first thing about Oil & Gas.

Maverick on the other hand already has a proven track record of profitability as shown below –

For the period ending September 30th 2006
      1. Maverick saw an increase in Revenue of 25.6% from the previous Quarter.
      2. Maverick saw an increase in Net Profit of 36.2% from the previous Quarter.
      3. Maverick reduced Total Liabilities by 16.1% from the previous Quarter.
      4. Maverick increased Stockholder Equity by 60.2% from the previous Quarter.

Financial Data from Quarter Ending September 30th 2006
      Total Revenue............................$1,173,936
      Net Income................................$200,752
      Total Liabilities........................$1,691,760
      Stockholder Equity.....................$582,192

Financial Data from Quarter Ending June 30th 2006
      Total Revenue............................$934,589
      Net Income................................$147,387
      Total Liabilities........................$2,016,276
      Stockholder Equity.....................$363,340
      http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/finance.jsp?symbol=MKGP

The proven track record of profitability is a result from an edge Maverick has on other Oil & Gas penny stocks in that the management team is diversified in a way that they have all the right talents and experience to grow a profitable company. The core management team is made up of CEO James McCabe who since 1979 has held a senior management position in various Oil & Gas Companies along with President Richard Bednar and CFO Brice Bogle who are both Certified Accountants with an extremely impressive biography. http://www.maverickenergygroup.com/AboutUs.htm The fact Maverick has two CPA’s managing the money and making business decisions has obviously plaid an important part in Mavericks proven track record of profitability.

With no disrespect to James McCabe, I am going to focus more on Mr. Bednar and Mr. Bogle, our two CPA’s. (Remember that CPA = Conservative) Mr. McCabe is the oil guy. Mr. McCabe is likely the one who searches out opportunities for Maverick to participate in. Before Maverick goes head first into any opportunity, it only makes sense that that the President and CFO must give it the stamp of approval. When you consider that our President and CFO are both CPA’s with impressive backgrounds, they are not going to give any opportunity the stamp of approval unless it makes financial sense on the conservative side.

This now leads us to what Maverick refers to as it’s Crown Jewel, their ownership of Z2 and participation in the Big Foot Field. This business transaction is what separates Maverick from many of the other Oil & Gas penny stocks we know of. What separates Maverick from the rest of the companies is that Maverick profits from the success achieved in the Big Foot Field but in this case there is no cost associated in the revenue Maverick generates from this partnership.

Quick Refresher: Maverick currently owns 11.517% interest in a private Oil and Gas company called Z2, the owner of the lease referred to as the Big Foot Field. Along with the 11.517% interest in Z2, Maverick also holds an Option to increase this interest to 24.7% by July 17th, 2007 for a one time cost of $1,000,000. In addition to Maverick holding an interest in Z2 and three separate drilling programs, which I am not touching on in this summary, what is also important to note is that Maverick is the paid Operator of the Big Foot Field.

What obviously made this ownership of Z2 make sense to our two CPA’s is that after the initial cost of only $1,000,000 to bring Mavericks ownership up to 24.7%, Maverick should be generating a cost free annual revenue stream or net profit from Z2 alone at a rate in excess of $1,500,000 by the end of 2007 based off current oil prices while continuing to increase with each of the 200 proven undeveloped wells drilled each month.

To show how this works, I will extrapolate two items from an e-mail alert sent out on Jan 23rd to registered members by Mavericks paid IR representative, MicroCap-Reports. The reason I will use information from MicroCap Reports is because they are the companies IR and they are a lot closer to the company than any of us are. Because of this point, I expect their information to be closer to the truth than my own speculation. The two items I will use from MicroCaps-Reports is their statement that Maverick will average 2 new proven undeveloped wells at Big Foot per month and that Z2’s cost on revenue generated from these new wells will be around 50%. Keep in mind that MicroCap-Reports stated they were leaning on the conservative side and if you look at where Maverick is in their drilling program, you start to see they may even be ahead of the rate MicroCap-Reports suggested. In the latest PR dated February 22nd, Maverick stated they would begin drilling the fifth well on February 23rd.

Let’s now take a look at how this works and what it means to the growth and value to Maverick and why Maverick is different from other Oil & Gas penny stocks.

(2 new proven wells per month) x (12 months) = 24 new wells per year

The recent PR dated February 20th announced the flow rate of the first two wells. The average flow rate from these two wells combined was 23.5 bbl per day per well. Keep in mind that as they continue to drill additional wells and prove out flow rate on those wells, this average could be adjusted up or down.

(24 wells per year) x (23.5 bbl per day) x (365 days in a year) = 205,860 bbl per year

      (205,860 bbl per year) x ($60 per bbl) = $12,351,600 Z2 revenue per year

      ($12,351,600 Z2 Revenue per year) x (50% Z2 revenue cost) = $6,175,800 Z2 Annual Profit

I will now assume Maverick will exercise their option to increase their ownership in Z2 to 24.7%. It really doesn’t matter if Maverick uses cash from their profitable operations, a one time dilution of 12.5 million shares at today’s current share price of 8 cents, or a combination of dilution and cash generated from their profitable operation, I believe it is safe to assume they will exercise the option because it only makes sense from an accounting perspective.

      ($6,175,800 Z2 Annual Profit) x (24.7%) = $1,525,423 MKGP Annual Revenue

The most important thing that I can’t emphasize enough to everyone is the very thing that separates Maverick from the others and that is - not only is this revenue generated by Maverick, there will be no cost to subtract from this in their financials, the annual net profit will increase by the amount of revenue generated from Mavericks ownership in Z2.

Most Oil & Gas penny stocks do not own more than 25% interest in any drilling project, many own significantly less. What interest they do own in a drilling project still has to have cost subtracted from it thus leaving them with very little to be recognized as profit. The interest Maverick holds in Z2 is essentially a net profit interest and not a revenue interest. Are you starting to see where I am going with this and why I believe Maverick to be so much better a journey to travel than the typical Oil & Gas penny stock? There is just so little downside risk to shareholders in this stock, any dilution that may occur to exercise the option will be so little and well worth it. The more wells they drill, the higher the share price will go. The higher the share price goes, the less number of shares they will need to sell if they can’t generate enough cash from their already profitable operation.

Maverick’s most recent financial release reflected a net profit of $200,752 which was a 36.2% increase over the previous quarter. For conservative speculation, let’s just say their net profit continues to be only $200,000 per quarter, this would be a net profit rate of $800,000 per year. Now if you look down the road to the point where they have completed 24 new wells and they are generating $1,525,423 annually from Z2 then Mavericks financials will reflect an annual net profit rate of -

      ($800,000) + (1,525,423) = $2,325,423 MKGP Annual Rate of Net Profit

Now lets remember that we have only looked at 24 of the 200 proven undeveloped wells, Maverick would still have 180 more wells to drill so as they continue drilling during the following years, if oil prices hold $60 or better then MKGP would realize a net profit injection of more than $1,500,000 each year to follow.

The other significance to realize from this is the cash position it allows Maverick to grow with no dilution. Maverick is not going to just put this money into a savings account and let it grow, Maverick, like any company, is going to reinvest this in other opportunities but instead of paying their way with dilution like the typical Oil & Gas penny stocks we discussed earlier, Maverick will use cash from operation.

Not everyone can see the value I see with my investment in Maverick as a long term holder. I firmly believe this stock will turn current penny investments into dollars in the very near future. I believe the upward trend we see in the chart is going to continue up for a very long time at little to no downside risk from where ever the share price is over the course of this next year.

While on the fence between any Oil & Gas penny stock, an important thing you need to ask yourself is even if they do have huger oil reserve potential is where will they get the cash to develop these reserves? Will it come by way of significant dilution, convertible debt, or cash generated from operations?

I have put this DD together to help everyone understand the value of this stock going forward. I urge anyone looking at this stock as an investment not to take my word for it but to conduct their own thorough due diligence. I urge all of you to confirm the information I have provided, read Mavericks financials, read their PR’s, and call Maverick yourself and speak to a member of management. These are all steps I have taken to come to the confidence in my decision to invest in this stock.

The due diligence I have provided is factual to the best of my knowledge from the public information I have available to me with exception to speculation where I have stated as such. Always do your own DD and make your own investment decisions.

Maverick Energy Group Announces the Successful Completion of the First of Two Horizontal Wells

Maverick Energy Group is pleased to announce the successful completion of the first of two planned Horizontal Wells in Caldwell County, Texas. Maverick has a 12.5% working interest in these wells and was in charge of the supervision for the drilling of the well. Once the production is established on both wells Maverick will become Operator of the wells.
The first well's lateral has been drilled to its targeted footage and the well has been swabbed for several days. Within the next two weeks it is expected that the well will be placed on pump.
Based upon the testing to date, the well could produce anywhere from 25 to 100 barrels per day. The actual amount will not be known until the well has been on pump for several weeks.
"The two horizontal wells are one of three main projects which Maverick is involved in and these two could produce a lot of oil. These wells along with our other two projects in Big Foot, Texas and West Virginia give Maverick a very diverse portfolio for an E & P Company our size" stated Jim McCabe the CEO of Maverick. "As Maverick continues to develop these projects our gross and net income should increase in 2007 and thereafter."
In addition, Maverick, as the operator for Z2, LLC has begun to plan the second phase of its development of the Big Foot Field with the $40,000,000 Advancing Credit Facility which Gasrock made available to Z2 in the second half of last year. Maverick hopes to drill at least an additional 20 PUDS at Big Foot this year and increase the gas line capacity in the second half of 2007.
Maverick Energy Group LTD is the Operator of the "Big Foot Field" in Texas originally developed by Royal Dutch Shell (RDS-A). It has approximately 300 production wells in the field of which approximately 240 are presently revenue producing. Maverick is also the part owner of several producing natural gas wells and owns additional natural gas leases in West Virginia. Maverick Energy Group Announces

Successful Completion of the First of Two Horizontal Wells

Great news from MKGP. Release in part as follows:
"Maverick Energy Group is pleased to announce the successful completion of the first of two planned Horizontal Wells in Caldwell County, Texas.

MKGP EXTREMELY STRONG! SHORT TERM TARGETS WELL WITHIN REACH!

With todays news release MKGP's fundamentals continue to strengthen. All short term technical resistance appears to be out of the way and the 50 day MA crossed the 100 day MA several weeks ago, it appears to us all systems are in place for an explosion to the upside.
The chart shows 2 solid CS closing at the high each day with more than respectable volume in Friday's session. The 50 day average volume is 399k shares. At 745k shares on Friday we have almost doubled the average volume. In our estimation the volume helps confirm the breakout.
We don't see any real resistance until the $0.15 area and it is our conclusion that resistance is somewhat light.
The strong buying at the end of Friday's session, the recent blocks that have been overhanging the market apparently gone, the outstanding news released after the close and oil prices above $60 per bbl and holding can only mean we will hit our short term target of $0.25 sooner rather than later.
Remember $0.22 is the all time high for MKGP. Any other prices prior to MKGP being public are not relevant. We say that because when we break $0.22 and hit our short term target we are completely in uncharted waters. In our opinion that means, at least on a short term basis, the stock could literally gap up and go anywhere. Expect that to happen when we break $0.22. We will experience some retracement and consolidation after that gap and then expect the march to higher ground to proceed from there.
Hold on to your hats! All indications are we are in for a ride next week and Monday in particular.
Certainly there is more news on the way. Maverick has been consistent in their releases and we expect that to continue.
I must implore you sideliners not to wait any longer. Resistance is Futile! The break out is here! The fundamentals are stronger everyday. This could be your stock market story of a lifetime. DON'T BLOW IT!!!!

StockEgg made it a play! Sory all but I just dropped my expectations a little. Still might go tommorrow but I am going to trade it a little more carefully

      Special Alert - MKGP

My new huge pick is MKGP

If you miss my alert on WGLT which had an intraday gain 73%, then you don’t want to miss this one.

MKGP is going to be a huge momentum mover!! MKGP just broke out and is ready to make the next leg up.

As the market moves lower, the price of oil will continue to rise. The price of a barrel of oil has gone up almost 22% over the last 2 months.

Everyone take a look at the chart of MKGP.
      http://img486.imageshack.us/img486/8296/76718060he6.png

MKGP is on a bullish uptrend and it just broke out to hit a new 3 months high.

One of the exciting things about MKGP is its rate of growth, for period ending September 30th 2006. MKGP saw an increase in Revenue of 25.6% from the previous Quarter and Net Profit of 36.2% from the previous Quarter. The gross revenue for the third quarter ending September 30, 2006 was approximately $1,174,000.

That is some amazing growth!! Many investors are taking notice of this growth rate and the volume of MKGP is starting to increase.

MKGP has had an array of great news lately, they just announced they had completed the drilling of their fifth well at the Big Foot Field.

Last month MKGP already announced initial production from the first two wells.
The first well's initial production is averaging 17 Barrels of Equivalent Oil (combined oil and gas production) and the second well's initial production is averaging 30 barrels of Equivalent Oil.

MKGP is the Operator of the "Big Foot Field" in Texas originally developed by Royal Dutch Shell (RDS-A). It has approximately 300 production wells in the field of which approximately 240 are presently revenue producing.

I can’t believe MKGP is only trading at .09!!

For a company with an incredible growth rate and the total future net revenue from the Big Foot producing properties is in excess of $38,000,000 and the future net revenue from the 200 Proved Undeveloped Properties (PUDs) yet to be drilled is in excess of $353,000,000.

This is just unheard of!! In my opinion, MKGP is extremely unvalued. Start your research on MKGP now.

I will send more information on MKGP later, be sure to check their website http://www.maverickenergygroup.com/

      Please do your Due Dilligence.
