      LOW CARBON ACCELERATOR

      About Low Carbon Accelerator

Low Carbon Accelerator is a closed-ended investment company listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange (AIM) which was launched in October 2006, raising gross proceeds of £44.5 million. Low Carbon Accelerator invests in a diverse portfolio of unquoted private companies providing low carbon products and services which deliver immediate reductions in carbon dioxide emissions.

Low Carbon Accelerator’s investment focus is on buildings and building products; green fuels; energy generation and energy efficiency. Low Carbon Accelerator is managed by Low Carbon Initiative Ltd.

Low Carbon Initiative comprises an experienced management and advisory team with strong sector knowledge, track record and networks. The management team of Low Carbon Initiative have spent the last two years building a pipeline of over 50 pre-qualified investee companies.
Current concentrations of carbon dioxide are already at 382 parts per million with 100 parts per million already emitted but yet to reach the troposphere. To achieve stabilization at 500 parts per million, the critical time period for action is 2005 - 2015.

The one way to effectively and immediately row back on climate change is to scale up already existing CO2 reduction solutions.

Over the last ten years a set of technologies and business solutions have been developed by strong management teams in UK, Europe and beyond, which address the need for sharp reductions in CO2 emissions. Many of these businesses have now cracked their technology and are ready to scale up very quickly.

A number of such businesses can benefit from a specialized fund with experienced management while institutional investors can benefit from a specialized fund that provides them exposure to a group of fast growing private companies.

Low Carbon Accelerator will use the net proceeds of its IPO to invest in a portfolio of at least 20 private businesses over a 12-15 month period from admission. The fund has a target IRR of 30%.

About Low Carbon Accelerator Limited The Company's investment strategy will be to target trading businesses with patentable technologies and products with a clear commercial application and the opportunity to gain a large market share of a new or expanding market. The Company will focus on businesses with experienced management teams who have developed commercially viable products providing easily adoptable solutions which deliver immediate reductions in carbon dioxide emissions.
The Company will seek to invest as sole or lead investor in 'early' and 'growth' stage companies with attractive products or services which Low Carbon Initiative Limited, the Company's Investment Manager, believes are capable of generating significant growth in revenue and profits from the investment by the Company of additional capital.
The Company may also invest a relatively small amount of capital into 'seed' investments where there is visibility as to the route to near-term revenue generation. Typically the funds invested will be used to meet working capital requirements and to finance capital expenditure for the expansion of the businesses.
Each business in which the Company invests will, in the opinion of the Investment Manager, be capable of being developed for realisation via sale or listing of its shares on a stock exchange within 2 to 5 years of an investment by the Company.
Initial Portfolio and Deal Pipeline Upon Admission, through an agreement with Panmure Capital, the Company will acquire investments in five companies totalling #2.01 million with follow on rights to invest up to a further #6.75 million, subject to the achievement of milestones.
The Initial Portfolio comprises the following investments:

      * Helio Dynamics Limited - a UK company which has developed a solarconcentrator for commercial use which generates 25 times more power per silicon wafer than existing standard photovoltaic technologies. Upon Admission, the Company will hold an equity investment of #650,000 with follow on rights to invest a further #2 million, subject to milestones being achieved, for an aggregate equity stake of 30 per cent.

      * Eco-Solids International Limited - a UK company which has worldwidelicence rights outside of the US to two advanced sludge treatment processes, which generate in excess of 35 per cent. more energy from waste matter than standard anaerobic biodigesters. The Company's first UK installation is with Yorkshire Water. Upon Admission, the Company will hold an equity investment of #325,000 with follow on rights, subject to milestones being achieved, to invest a further #250,000 for an aggregate equity stake of 40 per cent.

      * Proven Energy Limited - the UK's leading manufacturer of sub-15 kilowattwind turbines with a blue chip customer base including BP, Sainsbury's, BT, T-mobile, Orange and Shell. Upon Admission, the Company will hold an equity investment of #650,000 with follow on rights to invest a further #4.5 million shortly after Admission for an aggregate equity stake of 25 per cent. In addition, the Company will have the right of first refusal for funding follow on investment rounds.

      * ResponsiveLoad Limited - a UK company which has developed a patentedgrid management technology that enables electricity usage by white goods to vary in response to fluctuations in grid frequency. Upon Admission the Company will hold an equity investment of #253,500 which represents 25 per cent. of the equity. In addition, the Company will have the right of first refusal for funding follow on investment rounds.

      * Fuelture Limited - a UK company specialising in the commercialisation ofalternate and bio fuels for transportation. Fuelture's initial market strategy is, in selected UK cities, to convert taxi and van fleets to LPG and to supply LPG from retail sites to these customers. Upon Admission the Company will hold an equity investment of #130,000 for an equity stake of 16.67 per cent. In addition, the Company will have the right of first refusal for funding follow on investment rounds.

In addition, the Investment Manager is currently negotiating investments in a further 10 companies with an aggregate investment value of up to #20.5 million with follow on rights to be negotiated.

The Investment Manager has a strong investment pipeline including a further 42 potential investments which have passed the Investment Manager's pre-qualification criteria.

About Low Carbon Initiative Limited The Company will be managed by the Investment Manager, Low Carbon Initiative Limited, which will be responsible for day to day investment management decisions. The Investment Manager's management team comprises six individuals who between them have extensive experience of the low carbon sector and large networks of contacts within the market, both formal and informal, from which they have sourced potential investment opportunities for the Company. The Investment Committee of the Investment Manager will comprise the Investment Manager's management team, Gerald Davis and David Nussbaum (members of the Advisory Panel and also non-executive directors of the Company) and will be chaired by Richard Wyatt, non-executive chairman of the Investment Manager. The Advisory Panel comprises individuals who have been selected by the Investment Manager for the range of expertise and experience which they are able to provide to the Investment Manager to assist in its assessment of investment opportunities. The Advisory Panel also serves as a wider gatherer of market intelligence. Each member of the Advisory Panel has agreed with the Investment Manager to provide it with consultancy services for a pre-determined minimum number of days per year. The Investment Manager intends to draw on the expertise of the Advisory Panel as and when required. The combination of the Investment Manager's management team and investment committee, together with the Advisory Panel, provides the Investment Manager with an in-depth understanding of each target investment sector with experience across low carbon technologies, renewable energy, public policy, property development, oil and gas, venture capital, fund management and the construction industry. Low Carbon Accelerator Limited

      Investment Update: Energy Cabin GmbH

Low Carbon Accelerator Limited ("the Company" or "LCA") has announced that it
has made an investment of €2,000,000 in Energy Cabin GmbH for a 23% equity
stake. LCA has committed to invest a further €2,000,000 in two tranches, subject
to the achievement of certain commercial and operational milestones, over the
next 12 months. This further investment will take LCA's total equity stake to
40%. However, on achievement of 2008 profit milestones, LCA will return to
remaining shareholders 4% of voting and dividend rights. In addition, in the
event of over-performance against 2009 milestones, LCA will return up to 5% of
voting and dividend rights to remaining shareholders.

Energy Cabin is a multi-award winning, Austrian-based manufacturer and supplier
of free-standing, integrated heating systems that combine solar-thermal panels
with biomass fired boilers to deliver carbon-neutral central heating for
domestic, commercial and public application, greatly reducing reliance on fossil
fuels for domestic and commercial heating.

The pre-commissioned units are easily connected to existing hot water and
heating systems (e.g. radiators, under floor heating etc.) either replacing or
supplementing the traditional boiler. Existing customers include hotels,
residential homes, schools, industrial premises, business parks, housing
developers and private home-owners including groups of buildings connected to a
      shared 'heating grid'.

Typical payback times on the system are 4 to 5 years, with the solar thermal
system providing 'free' hot water for up to six months of the year. The
smokeless pellet boiler operates at 92% efficiency and the unit incorporates a
      sophisticated remotely monitored control system.

So far, over 77 Energy Cabin units have been installed successfully in locations
throughout the EU, providing clean, efficient central heating and hot water to
domestic and commercial premises. In addition the business supplies solar-only
and solar cooling cabins as part of an expanding product range.

The business has seen significant growth since it was founded and there is
strong demand for its products both in the local market and more widely in
Europe. Sales have grown from €500k in 2005 to €2.8million in 2006 with sales
teams established in four major European countries.

The investment from LCA will help Energy Cabin develop partner relationships and
subsidiary sales operations within Europe and overseas, as well as help broaden
      the product range.

Barney Rhys Jones, Investment Officer at Low Carbon Initiative, LCA's investment
manager said: "There is a large and growing demand for low-cost, low-carbon,
independent energy supplies in domestic, commercial and public buildings. Energy
Cabin provides the best-in-class technologies for this and has first-mover
advantage in this market. This is a business model which can scale up quickly,
providing buyers with a standardised, plug and play answer to their hot water
and heating needs. We are particularly interested in the impact this product
will have in the house building sector."

Karl Heinz Lesch, CEO of Energy Cabin, said: "We have seen strong, steady growth
over the past two years with sales in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria and the
Nordic regions and we look forward to using this investment to drive further
      growth and product development."

      About Low Carbon Accelerator
Low Carbon Accelerator Limited is a closed ended investment company created to
invest in a portfolio of fast-growing low carbon businesses. The Company listed
on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange on 11 October 2006, raising £44.5
      million.

The Company's investment objective is to provide shareholders with an attractive
return on their investment primarily through significant minority (predominately
25% and above) holdings in a diverse portfolio of unquoted private companies
providing low carbon products and services.

The Company will initially invest principally in companies based in the UK,
Europe and the US, which provide low carbon products and services across the
      following sectors:

      - Buildings (sustainable building materials, heating, lighting, clean air and
water technologies for industrial, commercial and/or residential use)
      - Fuels (bio-fuels, low carbon fuels, catalysts and additives)
      - Energy efficiency (reductions in energy inputs at source, improved conversion
and reductions at point of use)
      - Energy generation (sustainable and clean energy, micro and distributed
      generation)

The Company's investment strategy is to target trading businesses with
patentable technologies and products with a clear commercial application and the
opportunity to gain a large market share of a new or expanding market. The
Company focuses on businesses with experienced management teams who have
developed commercially viable products providing easily adoptable solutions
which deliver immediate reductions in carbon dioxide emissions. Low Carbon
Initiative Limited, the Company's investment manager, anticipates that the
Company should be fully invested (or committed to be invested) within 12 to 15
months of the Company's admission to AIM.

The Company has made nine investments to date, including Energy Cabin, totalling
£15.53 million with follow on rights to invest up to a further £3.00 million,
subject to the achievement of milestones.
