GRAVITY WEST ACQUIRES URANIUM PROPERTIES
Gravity West Mining Corp. has entered into a purchase agreement with Kalac Holdings Ltd. and Mountain Island Exploration Ltd. to acquire a 100-per-cent interest in certain properties with uranium potential located in the Hornby basin area near the Great Bear Lake area. The property straddles the Northwest Territories/Nunavut border and is located approximately 430 kilometres north of Yellowknife, NWT.
The terms of the purchase agreement for a 100-per-cent interest in the property require the company to make cash payment of $200,000 and to issue two million shares to the vendors. The property is subject to a 2.0-per-cent net smelter return royalty. The company has the right to reduce the royalty to 1 per cent by paying the vendors $1-million. This acquisition is subject to exchange approval. A finder's fee, in the amount of $49,500 (cash or shares at the finder's discretion), or such other amount as may be acceptable to the TSX Venture Exchange, is payable on this acquisition.
